Job Summary

This role is an expansion of our employment pathway and will be our first dedicated employment coach for our students.

PiP has developed a unique reputation for our experience and quality of employment support for adults with learning disabilities. This has led to an increased number of referrals with a focus on employment, an expansion of our in-house social enterprise capacity, and more employers keen to work alongside us to diversify their staff base.

PiP is keen to respond to and meet this demand. This role for us is the next step in doing so, allowing us to increase our job coaching capacity and providing more dedicated resource for students on their employment journey. As to date our coaching has been delivered across our existing staff team.

What You’ll Need

• Working with people with learning disabilities, or a similar client group
• Experience of training, education, or employment support delivery
• Experience of job coaching or supporting work placements
• Understanding of and commitment to a person-centred approach
• An understanding of the needs of employers and ability to articulate the benefits of having a diverse workforce to businesses
• Able to establish, develop and maintain constructive and professional relationships, both internal and external, with a wide variety of professional and carers
• Evidenced experience of success in building strong and positive relationships with a variety of people and organisations

What We Offer:

· The salary for this role is circa £29,500 dependent on experience with incremental pay progression.

You'll get 25 days holiday + bank holidays ever year. We're closed for Christmas but the rest of the year you may take leave whenever you wish. 

· An extra day of annual leave for each year you've worked with us up to another 5 (30 in total)

This is an exciting opportunity for a Performance and Planning Marketing & Communications professional who wants to help develop and grow Maggie’s profile, reach and reputation across the UK.

The role will be focused on enabling insight-led communications that support the achievement of our organisational objectives, increasing awareness of and support for our centres and online resources, and enhancing our planning and performance processes to create new opportunities to support people with cancer.

There are three key areas of focus of this 6-month maternity cover role: lead on the data analysis and evaluation of the Maggie’s Supporter Survey; develop insight on Maggie’s visitor acquisition and retention with a view to increase our visitor numbers; and lead Maggie’s brand campaign analysis to inform our brand strategy.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and evaluation of our Maggie’s Supporter Survey, combining qualitative and quantitative analysis to generate valuable insights from which to drive performance and growth.

• Working with data analysts and insights colleagues, and the Director of Performance, Marketing and Communications Director and Fundraising Director, develop valuable insight to help inform our Brand, Communications and Marketing strategy, as well as our Fundraising strategy.

• Conduct analysis, in collaboration with data analysts and insights colleagues, of our Maggie’s visitors support journeys. Establishing any important themes on our visitor retention and acquisition, to inform our Brand, Communications and Marketing strategy, as well as our Programme strategy.

• Lead Maggie’s brand campaign analysis, working in collaboration with communications and marketing colleagues and key external stakeholders. As part of this, support the evaluation of the effectiveness of our marketing activity, including brand tracking and visitor marketing.

• Support the Marketing and Communications Director in evidence-based marketing and communications strategy development and functional planning, based on audience data and insights.

Essential skills and experience

• In-depth knowledge of working within a Brand, Communications and/or Marketing function

• Experience of carrying out mixed method analysis and evaluation of data, qualitative and quantitative, to develop communication and marketing plans and strategy

• Experience generating insight from data, through use of analysis, graphical visualisations, narrative and impact statement

• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Power Bi and Google suite - Google Analytics and Looker Studio - for data analysis and presentation

• Ideally experience with Dotdigital marketing platform and Google Search Console for search traffic analytics

This role bridges the Strategic Partnerships team in Fundraising and the Federation Strategy group, supporting YMCA England & Wales in securing and delivering impactful projects for young people and communities. You'll work on national programmes, helping build project infrastructure, monitor progress, and support local YMCAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Support the setup and delivery of new initiatives, ensuring effective infrastructure and resource management.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Develop systems to track and report on project outcomes, providing key data for funders and internal use.

About the role:

Working within a passionate team providing an effective, high quality support service to address the presenting needs of clients with complex needs in relation to poly substance misuse, mental health, and a wide variety of associated issues (including: street activity, offending, physical health, background of complex trauma.)

The primary role of the project is to enable clients to understand their emotional and mental health needs and manage these effectively. About the role:

As an IDVA you will be working as a member of the London Domestic Abuse team supporting clients through the co-location at the hospital liaising directly with departments such as ED/ Safe Guarding/ Maternity as well as supporting through the criminal justice system. You will work in partnership with other agencies aiming to increase the level of domestic abuse prosecutions.

As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk, primarily focusing on victim/survivors aged 16+
Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.

You will need:

• Have a knowledge of help-seeking barriers and support needs of victims of domestic abuse (in heterosexual or same-sex relationships).
• Have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children.
• Understand the principles of risk assessment, safety planning and risk management for victims of domestic abuse and their children
• Understand safeguarding issues, and the legal responsibilities surrounding these issues.
• Direct service delivery to victims of domestic abuse or other vulnerable people.
• Have excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills, both written and verbal when interacting with a range of agencies and individuals. Understand and be committed to equal opportunities and diversity issues in policy and practice.
• Have a strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations.

Your New Role: As a Management Accountant, you will support the fundraising team, including team leaders, managers, and the Director, with budgeting and forecasting. Your key responsibilities will include providing financial analysis, budget support, and financial planning. You will prepare management accounts, conduct variance analysis, and assist with the annual budget process. Additionally, you will monitor actual performance against budget, forecast for the year, and prepare journal adjustments, month-end accruals, and prepayments.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Significant experience in Management Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in the month-end process.
• Experience in preparing and posting journal entries (standard journals, accruals).
• Strong ability to communicate with and present information to senior management and provide advice to non-financial budget holders.
• Ideally, you are a qualified accountant or very close to qualification.

About the role:

The Gray's Inn Road supported accommodation project is a 16-bed short stay accommodation service which holds a critical position in the endeavour to address rough sleeping in the London Borough of Camden. The service, funded by the Department of Levelling Up Housing and Communities and the Greater London Authority, in partnership with One Housing Group and Camden council aligns with the strategic vision to make rough sleeping rare, brief, and non-recurrent in Camden. Although there is not a defined maximum stay, the service is designed to be a ‘short stay’ project and will aim to move people on into suitable housing options after 3-6 months.

As a resettlement worker you will provide flexible housing related support to vulnerable clients across the service. Clients within the service will often be experiencing multiple disadvantages, including substance misuse, mental and physical health issues and contact with the criminal justice system.

The resettlement worker will need to be resilient, innovative, flexible and creative, working alongside support workers to support clients in becoming move on ready. You will also need to be able to facilitate appropriate move ons from the service by identifying tailored move on support for each client dependent on their support needs, which will require knowledge of housing pathways.

The resettlement worker will be expected to develop strong relationships with housing providers, including private rented sector landlords.

About you:

• A demonstrable understanding of the Recovery Model, and the ability to engage and motivate people to move towards independence and inclusion.
• A good understanding of the housing pathway to ensure effective and suitable move on options are offered to clients. This includes an understanding of the private rented sector market and ability to broker safe and affordable Move-on options.
• A proven ability to create and deliver SMART Resettlement action plans with clients through high quality risk and needs assessments.
• A working knowledge of Housing Management as applied to a residential setting, and / or client’s move on accommodation.
• A level of numeracy sufficient to carry out tasks such as budgeting with clients, calculating benefit entitlements and monitoring rent payments.
• A proven ability to work in partnership with external stakeholders, particularly community mental health services and/or substance use services.

Location and travel

We all work remotely, however travel and overnight stays are required as part of the role. You'll attend around 3-4 symposia a year, which run from Mondays to Thursdays and are currently held in the Lake District. You'll also attend 2-3 half-day meetings in London a year, which may require overnight stays depending on how far away from London you live. It would be helpful if you had a full UK driving license and access to your own car.
