Summary of Role
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective and robust organisational Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) framework. It will also play an instrumental role in effectively demonstrating the outcomes of our work to funders and supporters while also using learning to strengthen our overall organisational model, including programs, partner engagement, and strategic planning.

Your analytical skills will be critical in optimising programmatic and fundraising efforts and ensuring that Choose Love’s resources are effectively directed toward helping displaced people. Additionally, your ability to communicate data-driven insights will be essential for building trust with donors and stakeholders and ultimately positively impacting the lives of those in need.

What you'll do:
Understand the concept of Recovery and apply those principles to develop an environment and service that enhances recovery
Put the service-user at the centre of their support and promote optimism and hope for their increased independence
Act as a positive influence on service-users encouraging responsible behaviour and self reliance to people residing in the Service
Support people in a way that maximises their self-sufficiency and enables them to live independently upon discharge from the service
Support customers to maintain their tenancy
Carry out holistic assessments and devise appropriate recovery focused support plans, and comprehensive risk assessments in full consultation with service-users, their families/carers and other agencies
Ensure recovery focused support plans are created, reviewed, evaluated and amended in accordance with changing needs, presenting risks and individual preferences in order to promote recovery
Undertake key working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/Service Manager
Be flexible and responsive to the needs of service-users as directed by their personal support plan
Provide recovery focused support to achieve personal goals/aspirations in partnership with service-users, family members and statutory agencies. To work with service-users on a one to one basis to achieve positive outcomes within the given service timeframe

Peer Support Coordinator

This role is an opportunity to work for Mind BLMK as part of the peer support service, you will have the opportunity to use your own personal experience of mental health challenges to coordinate the running of a Peer Support Service in Milton Keynes, provide information and guidance, and implement referral pathways to the wider Recovery Service.
Our peer support and recovery services are a key element of the services we offer, and we are looking for someone who can use their own lived experiences to provide support to help individuals achieve their goals. If you feel like you would be suitable for this role, we can’t wait to hear from you.
Key Activities
- Operate a Peer Support service including peer support groups and mentoring across Milton Keynes and ensure outcomes which supports individuals with mental health and wellbeing needs in line with Mind BLMK’s agreed Peer Support model and requirements as well as contract requirements.
- Carry out assessments on individuals’ suitability for Mind BLMK’s Peer Support service in line with the Access to Service procedure
- Work with the Peer Support Manager to ensure regular involvement of service users, volunteers and staff on local service delivery, organisational matters and wider mental health strategies
- Maintain an effective workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (recruitment, line management, workload planning, support and development of Peer Support Workers and volunteers).
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Mind BLMK team and relevant key post holders.
- Provide the infrastructure Peer Support Workers need to deliver the support safely and confidently.
- Hold responsibility for all Cash Handling, Health and Safety and Data Collection responsibilities as directed by the Team Leader in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, requirements and guidance.

Housing Support & Recovery Worker

About you
To succeed, you’ll need to be experienced in data quality and implementing operational procedures to maintain high standards of data quality and have worked as a help desk technician or a similar customer support role. You should be analytical, solution orientated and able to communicate technical information to a non-technical client team audience, you have a good understanding of relevant legislation and regulations relating to supporter data too (e.g., GDPR, PECR and the Fundraising Code of Practice). You’re also great at diagnosing basic technical issues likely to affect users of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and have had some exposure to the Microsoft Power Platform suite, in particular Dynamics and Power Automate/Flow.

The IT Support Engineer will report to the IT Manager and provide IT support to employees and the business. You will assist with the day to day operations of the IT department. You will oversee the migration of Sage 200 and Sage 50 finance systems. You will also ensure IT incidents are tracked and resolved. You will manage server maintenance. You will also ensure IT systems remain secure and compliant with internal regulations and policies. You will help design and implement new processes and procedures, to enhance the IT departments operations.
To be considered for this role, you will have experience working in a small IT team. You will have experience using Windows OS and other desktop application softwares. You will have experience using Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 tenant administration.
You will have excellent communication skills. You will have a strong attention to detail and be able to view and improve processes to make them more efficient.
Desirably, you will have experience using SharePoint, Microsoft Azure and Windows Server 2003-2019. You will also have strong networking capabilities (DNS, routing, switching, etc) and knowledge of Wi-Fi technologies.

About the Service
Hertfordshire Mind Network’s Nightlight Service is proud to provide urgent support, crisis intervention and emotional support to people experiencing Mental health Crisis in Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways. We provide support to adults across Hertfordshire 7 days a week, 365 days a year through our Helpline, Crisis Cafes and a 24/7 Crisis House. We aim to provide a safe space for people in crisis to talk and feel supported, be listened to without judgement, access relevant support with problem solving and facilitate access to external services when necessary.
As a member of our team you will work closely with service users in crisis by using a person-centred approach as to ensure that each individual is supported with dignity and respect.
About the role
As a Crisis House Support Worker, you will work closely with other staff as part of a team in supporting the development of quality Crisis Support and instilling Hertfordshire Mind Network’s values throughout the provision.
Purpose of Post
To be a key member of staff supporting the delivery of the Nightlight mental health Crisis Service. You will take part in a rota which covers a 24/7 hour service, 365 days a year. Drawing upon your own lived and/or professional experience (where applicable,) in order to provide a mix of face-to-face, therapeutic and holistic support for those accessing overnight provision. You will work closely with other staff as part of a team in supporting the development of quality Crisis Support and instilling Hertfordshire Mind Network’s values throughout the provision.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide emotional support and work towards developing, flexible and realistic crisis/person-centred plans with Service Users.
- To work within agreed guidelines with and for Service Users, whilst being guided and supported by Senior Staff (as well as the Leadership team) in regard to documents/plans such as: Assessments of Need, Risk, Crisis support plans and Review forms.
- (If applicable) To draw upon one’s own lived experience as appropriate, as to promote the delivery of person-centred support.
- To provide immediate and appropriate advice and information to clients as to support with crisis prevention.
- To liaise with Nightlight management and external services such as: police, ambulance service, Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team, Single Point of Access, Safeguarding Out of Hours Service, Mental Health Liaison Teams, Adult Community Mental health Services, etc. as needed in terms of accepting referrals and proactively recognising the indicators of deteriorating mental health and facilitating appropriate support.
- Complete appropriate signposting/onward referrals to both internal and external services in accordance with identified needs and risks.
- Ensuring record keeping is maintained to the required standards at all times and contributing to service monitoring requirements.
- Arranging transport for service users to facilitate access to services as needed.
- Assisting with housekeeping/cleaning tasks as necessary and reporting any maintenance problems in line with policy and Health and Safety standards.
- Support clients with activities of daily living as required.
- To participate in all Training and Development opportunities relevant to the role and those included in one’s Personal Development Plan, as agreed with line manager.
- To contribute to the co-development of the service by supporting Service User, Family and Carer involvement by obtaining feedback and supporting (where necessary) opportunities to be involved in wider service reviews.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Bengali Speaking Family and Volunteer Support Worker to deliver a volunteer support service for new parents and their families during perinatal period across the London borough of Camden.
