· To work within temporary accommodation provided by New Forest District Council (NFDC) provide intensive support to the victim / survivor and their child(ren) living within the properties.
· To provide high-quality crisis intervention, information, advocacy, and proactive support to victims / survivors who access the NFDC resident and housing options.
· To work with colleagues at NFDC to increase knowledge and develop responses to victims and survivors of domestic abuse through formal and informal training sessions, this includes colocation within the council.

Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
You will have some experience of prison settings, underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. This can be a tough environment, so the ability to work responsively, whilst feeling comfortable in a standalone role, is crucial.
This role is a fixed term role until 1st June 2025
The role will be prison-based. Back Up’s mentoring service is there to help. We know that peer support can have a life changing impact and our Mentoring Team are the ones who can facilitate this through matching them with a suitable mentor who will be able to support them over a series of phone calls to reach their goals. The Mentoring Team Leader leads the team through providing excellent line management and driving the delivery of the team’s business plans to empower the team to ultimately support more people affected by spinal cord injury
In addition to leading the team, a Mentoring Team Lead will assist in creating mentoring relationships and support mentors and mentees as appropriate, assess mentee suitability and provide support in the process of identifying, recruiting and training new mentors.
A Mentoring Team Lead will be motivated to achieve the aims, targets and milestones that have been set in terms of making quality matches and will be comfortable and efficient with data management and GDPR compliance.

PURPOSE OF THE POST
The purpose of the post is to work closely with POPS’ Director, to ensure the quality and compliant delivery of POPS’ service located currently across Northwest, Yorkshire, Leicester and Bristol. MAIN TASKS
STRATEGY
- Work closely with POPS’ Director to meet organisational objectives and aims within the strategic plan
- Develop national, regional and local partnership to enable POPS to fulfil its mission and strategic plan
- Oversee development of ideas and implementation of required interventions to ensure future organisational growth
- Provide comprehensive reports to ensure that POPS’ Director and Board of Trustees are provided oversight of governance; quality assurance; performance against set KPI’s; future planning, fundraising and new business development.
OPERATIONS
- Directly line manage POPS’ three Operations Managers
- Ensure high performance standards and production of quality outcomes, ensuring contractual KPI’s are met
- Work closely with Assistant Director for Core Business functions to ensure services are delivered within legislative and financial requirements
- Work with Operations managers to ensure contractual compliance: ensure that appropriate targets and monitored and achieved.
- Support the recruitment and development of staff
- Work effectively with all colleagues to achieve agreed goals and respond to challenges in a timely and constructive way.
- Maintain good financial discipline, manage multiple funding streams; ensure organisational financial probity by implementing and developing appropriate financial controls and systems.

The Supporter Fundraiser will join Sight Scotland at an exciting stage, with a newly formed Cause and Engagement team, a new organisational strategy and direction, and a roadmap for fundraising planned. The charity is recruiting for 5 other fundraising roles alongside this role.
This role gets to see the full spectrum of what Sight Scotland’s amazing supporters do for the charity. You will spend time out and about meeting supporters across Scotland, understanding their fundraising goals and supporting them to achieve and surpass them. You will engage with community groups, speak at schools and workplaces, recruit and manage volunteers and support the delivery of fundraising events.
This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships with people across a wide spectrum of age, background, disability, and motivation. You would need to be enthusiastic, proactive and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A willingness to travel is a must as you will need to be out from behind a desk to build those all important relationships. There will be some evening and weekend work (for which TOIL is provided), so flexibility is key.

This role is an excellent starting point for fundraising as a career path, but some experience within charities would be useful for this role. This role could suit someone who has experience as a Fundraising Assistant and is looking to step into a role with more responsibility and supporter interaction, or perhaps someone who has worked in a different team within a charity but can demonstrate great relationship building skills.

PURPOSE OF THE POST
The Assistant Director for POPS core business is pivotal to ensuring the efficient, effective and legally compliant management of POPS’ head office functions and organisational infrastructure. The South West and South Central team provides a crucial link between Diabetes UK and the community. We work to improve outcomes and access to diabetes care, empower people to live better and more confident lives with diabetes, and engage with diverse communities across the region to provide support and information.
The Regional Support Officer ensures the efficient operation of the regional team, supporting day to day administration and related internal and external services. You will also be the first point of contact in the region so will provide excellent customer care in providing support and information for people living with, and affected by, diabetes.

Main Responsibilities
As Regional Support Officer you will provide full administrative services to a team that is geographically dispersed across the region with a regional office based in Taunton. You will manage office logistics, financial process and ensure compliance with organisational policies regarding GDPR, health and safety, including undertaking risk assessments. You will support the set up and delivery of both face to face and online events. Crucially as first point of contact for the team you will provide excellent customer service to members of the public.
Ideal Candidate
As Regional Support Officer you will be self-motivated with the ability to prioritise a varied workload. You will have proven experience of office admin systems, excellent IT skills, including use of CRM/data management systems and online platforms. You will be someone who can work effectively with colleagues, understanding their administrative needs and responding positively. You will have experience of organising online and face to face events. A Team Leader will be fully involved in all aspects of the day to day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front line staff. You will lead and develop competence of direct reports as well as carry a small caseload of customers requiring support.
