Role Overview and Accountabilities
Overview
The Finance Lead, will contribute to the long-term vision, and provide strategic financial advice at Chiltern Music Therapy, helping the organisation to achieve financial sustainability as a social business. They will lead on financial reporting for the organisation, support the bookkeeper and develop strong links with the Board. They will be responsible for producing monthly accounts, reports and contextual information to support effective decision making, funding applications and maintaining an overview of company financial data and processes. They will act as backup for the bookkeeper in case of leave and sickness and will integrate themselves across the organisation to have meaningful and influential conversations, collaborating, mentoring and supporting the team on financial matters.
Key accountabilities
- Production of monthly management accounts and dashboard
- Work with external Accountants to prepare, review and finalise year-end accounts Coordinate, model and maintain rolling forecasts and budgeting process
- Liaison with external accountants for all areas of compliance and tax
- Cash flow management
- Maintaining records of deferred income, prepayments and other balance sheet items Various reconciliations including bank accounts, PAYE, payroll clearing
- Deliver finance process and IT improvements

Person Specification
The successful applicant must be efficient, well-organised and able to work independently and with initiative when needed. They must be ambitious, willing to learn, have a positive attitude to thinking about things differently and work across the organisation and its self-managed teams. This position would suit someone who is confident in their own abilities, proactive and has excellent communication skills. We are looking for someone who shares our values and can bring strong financial acumen into the in-house team.

2 days per week. Monday’s are essential, second day can be worked flexibly.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead MOVE Against Cancer in its next phase of growth, ensuring that our programmes continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those living with and beyond cancer. CEO - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Income Generation & Financial Responsibility
Lead the development and execution of MOVE Against Cancer’s income generation strategy across a diverse range of funders, including trusts and foundations, business partnerships, individual and community fundraising. Create and manage a realistic, achievable annual budget, ensuring that all financial performance aligns with organisational goals. Monitor and report on the organisation’s financial performance, providing regular, accurate updates to the Trustees. Develop relationships with current and potential funders, reporting back on the impact of their donations and securing further financial support. Identify new opportunities to diversify and maximise income streams to support organisational growth, ensuring that the charity can meet its long-term goals. Oversee compliance with fundraising regulations, ensuring that all fundraising activities adhere to legal and ethical standards. Ensure monthly financial reporting and performance tracking, reviewing risks, and taking corrective actions as necessary.
Strategy
Lead the sustainable growth of MOVE Against Cancer, ensuring that the organisation adapts to the evolving landscape of cancer support and related sectors. Work with the Board to regularly review and refine the organisation’s strategy, ensuring it remains responsive to external changes and opportunities.
HR, Compliance & Infrastructure Management
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative, regulatory, and policy requirements, including health and safety, Charity Commission guidance, safeguarding, and fundraising regulations. Oversee data protection policies, ensuring that MOVE Against Cancer meets all General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and data privacy laws. Develop and review organisational policies and procedures at appropriate intervals to ensure best practices and compliance with regulations. Establish a continuous improvement framework, gathering feedback and data to guide the organisation’s strategic direction and operational excellence. Coordinate with senior leadership to ensure that all services meet or exceed the expectations of funders, partners, and beneficiaries.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications & Experience
Significant experience in growing and leading a charitable (or similar) organisation, with a proven track record of success in expanding reach and impact. Previous experience leading a charitable (or similar) organisation, including strategic planning, governance, and financial management. Demonstrated experience in leading and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including managing major donor relationships, grants, corporate partnerships, and community fundraising campaigns. In-depth knowledge and experience of cancer support services and the challenges faced by people living with and beyond cancer, including their families. Strong track record of working collaboratively with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders to achieve shared goals. Excellent communication, public speaking, and relationshipbuilding skills, with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders including funders, healthcare professionals, and the public.

MOVE Benefits

We are looking for an experienced Partnership Development Lead to strengthen and expand partnerships helping to extend our reach and impact.
Key Responsibilites
This role will lead on the business development for the charity’s key initiatives. Reporting to the CEO, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Work with the CEO, Operations Director, and wider team to implement the strategy for securing income-generating partnerships for 2025-2029.
- Identify organisations and key individuals within them to develop new opportunities for partnerships across the UK.
- Build, develop and strengthen relationships that will lead to increased projects.
- Propose, build and develop long term strategic partnerships.
- Manage Our Time’s partner recruitment cycle from launch to contract, ensuring you meet goals in our target areas.

Senior Programme Manager

The Senior Programme Manager at the Football Foundation will lead the delivery of the Hubs programme, a flagship initiative funded by the Premier League, The FA, and Government. The programme is transforming grassroots sports infrastructure by creating financially sustainable facilities that serve as thriving community hubs. These multi-pitch sites don’t just provide high-quality football facilities—they also support other sports, physical activity, and essential community services, all tailored to local needs. Outside of the Hubs programme, the role will lead and provide support to the Programmes team and wider organisation on the design and development of new and existing programmes, ensuring that they deliver against the Football Foundation’s strategic objectives.
As Senior Programme Manager you will:

About the role
The Digital Fundraising Acquisition Lead at Sightsavers is responsible for leading efforts to scale online supporter acquisition. This includes leading global paid social strategy, leveraging data insights to optimize performance and reach, and will also focus on the continuous improvement of digital journeys for our DRTV (digital response TV advertising) programme, ensuring data-informed optimisation. Working in close partnership with global teams, external agencies, and key stakeholders is essential to achieving ambitious growth targets for our supporter base.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning of digital acquisition strategies, aligned with overall goals.
- Develop and execute the global paid social media strategy to acquire new supporters and maximise ROI, working closely with colleagues and media agencies.

About you

This role is critical in the leadership of the Bikeability Trust as deputising for the CEO.

Our activities engage a broad range of beneficiaries, participants and stakeholders: deaf students and employees; our local deaf community in London; and many different stakeholders – universities, employers and local councils – working with us to remove the barriers that disadvantage deaf people and prevent access to opportunity.

Deaf Unity is a deaf-led charity, based in London, that works to empower, nurture and train deaf individuals. From our home base in London, we work alongside our community and partners to develop and deliver new initiatives in response to clearly identified needs. We directly engage 300+ deaf people each year: inspiring and supporting school-leavers to take their first steps into higher education; empowering graduates and employees to navigate the world of work with confidence; and connecting deaf people with each other to build community, tackle isolation, mobilise around key issues and break down barriers to learning and employment. Sharing and dissemination of our work (including online to reach the national community) goes on to engage far greater numbers.
Deaf Unity generates much of its income from providing interpreting and consultancy services and delivering training (British Sign Language and deaf awareness courses). This activity fully aligns with our charitable mission and generates essential unrestricted funding to support our wider activities.
Context for the commission
In late 2023, the Board of Trustees agreed a forward plan, setting out the charity’s objectives and the activities we plan to deliver over the next 3-5 years. Our work is guided by 5 high-level, strategic objectives. We aim that by 2028:
- Deaf Unity will have created in partnership with London schools a high-quality, effective careers advice pack/toolkit which can be accessed digitally by schools across the UK to inspire and support deaf learners on their FE/HE/vocational journey.

Overview of role
The evaluation specialist will be required to support Deaf Unity’s CEO and Training & Services Manager in developing an appropriate evaluation framework and action plan to be applied across the breadth of the charity’s activities, with supporting materials (e.g. questionnaires; interview prompts; other approaches). This is in the context of projects that often serve the deaf community, where written responses to feedback forms/online surveys are not always appropriate.
The consultant will support the leadership team to put in place training (not included in the fee) and systems to ensure that freelance teams delivering Deaf Unity’s project and training activities have the necessary understanding, guidance and confidence to support effective monitoring and evaluation of these activities.
Elements of Deaf Unity’s work to be included in this framework are:

Purpose of Role
IBP seeks a Director of Fundraising to drive our organization's resource development and financial sustainability. Working at the highest levels of the organization, this leader will develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to secure multi-year, multi-million-dollar commitments from major international donors. Head of Delivery

About the role
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for delivering impactful projects? We’re looking for a Head of Delivery to oversee and lead the delivery of capital projects greater than £25k, making a tangible difference in grassroots sports facilities.
As the Head of Delivery, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of a range of priority projects, including 3G FTPs, changing facilities, grass pitches, PlayZones, and Hub sites. Key responsibilities
· Oversee the development and maintenance of a robust pipeline of high-quality facility projects that deliver long-term value and benefit to local communities.
· Provide strategic leadership to ensure facility projects align with the Foundation’s strategy, and drive execution for maximum impact.
· Ensure projects reflect the needs of local communities and stakeholders, fostering multi-sport participation and inclusivity.

· Assist in high-profile funding discussions, maximising contributions and ensuring the best outcomes for each project.

· Oversee the transition of projects from approval to construction, ensuring timelines are met and risks are managed.
What are we looking for?
· Proven experience in project delivery, particularly with capital projects above £25k, preferably in the sports or community development sector.
· Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to motivate and develop teams across multiple functions.
· Deep understanding of grant management systems and project execution, including budgeting, risk management, and quality assurance.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of driving collaboration and community involvement.
· Ability to think strategically and ensure projects align with the Foundation’s strategic priorities and provide long-term value.

What can we offer you?
The salary band for this role is £62,000 - £68,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.
You will start with 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases after 2 years), plus additional time off to volunteer. We also offer a generous pension scheme (8% employer contribution), free health care provision, a monthly gym subsidy, death in service benefit and access to selected match tickets.

The Humane League UK (THL UK) is seeking a data-focussed and strategic individual, with a strong background in digital fundraising, to help drive long-lasting improvements for millions of farmed animals.

Who you are:
We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of analysing, assessing and utilising data, making the most of technical solutions and making informed decisions to optimise and enhance fundraising performance. You’ll have good experience working with CRMs and donor data. If you have experience implementing a new CRM solution in an organisation, this will be a big plus. You will have excellent attention to detail and high standards - ensuring clean and good quality data, maintaining consistent data use across the organisation.
You will have a proven track record of delivering digital fundraising strategies and successful digital fundraising campaigns, as well as developing supporter journeys. You will be someone who thrives on collaborating across an organisation to ensure communications and campaigns are as effective as possible, leading to increased acquisition, engagement and conversion.
You are someone who is able to use their initiative to solve problems and overcome challenges. You are self-motivated, able to work autonomously, be proactive and resourceful. Primary Duties:

Lead on developing and executing our digital fundraising strategy: working with our Digital Communications Manager to make sure it aligns with and feeds into our wider organisational digital strategy, as well as with the Head of Development to make sure it aligns with our wider fundraising strategy.

Management of our new CRM: we are in the process of selecting a new CRM solution to support fundraising at THL UK. This role will initially take responsibility for getting this implemented and embedded in the organisation, and then take on the day-to-day management and responsibility of the CRM to make sure we utilise the platform to its full potential and resolve any challenges or issues.

Coordinating our end of year fundraising appeal: our biggest of the year, working with our Digital Fundraiser to develop engaging content and communications, and with our Major Gifts Fundraiser and Head of Development to secure match funds and major gifts, to ensure we secure valuable income each year (this appeal raised over £100k in 2024). You’ll help set and track the targets and metrics for the campaign, and conduct post-campaign analysis to capture what we learn to inform our future activities.

With a focus on acquisition, retention, and conversion, work with our Digital Communications Manager to map out and develop donor journeys as part of our wider supporter journeys, using technological solutions to ensure supporters are progressing effectively.

Regularly assess and analyse supporter and donor data, using these insights to shape our strategy and activities. This includes monitoring engagement levels across various touch points, such as donating, volunteering, taking digital actions, or engaging with our communications, as well as evaluating segmentation and targeting of key audiences. Identify the data needed to inform decision-making and establish mechanisms to capture it effectively.

Work with the Finance Operations Lead to make sure all supporter and donation data in our CRM is accurate, complete and up-to-date: this includes ensuring that Gift Aid claims are regularly made, donation data is regularly reconciled with our finance system, that we have a holistic picture of our supporters, and we have a regular programme of data cleansing in place.

Ensure our donation processes are optimised: allowing us to minimise any possible friction on our donation pages and increase the percentage of those going on to make a donation. Ensuring that we have processes in place to capture abandoned baskets and failed payments, and any technical issues which could disrupt our ability to collect payments are monitored and resolved quickly, working with our technical partners or external experts where necessary.

Oversee the development of any new donation pages or donor data collection forms: whether those are created in-house or by an external consult or agency.

Make sure THL UK team members are getting what they need from our CRM and technical solutions. Ensuring that they are using systems correctly and consistently, to avoid poor practices which might result in bad data or sub-optimal functionality. Including access and user permissions, notifications and alerts for new donors and donations, training and support, and access to dashboards and reports needed to inform their work.

Manage any external support required to optimise our CRM and technological solutions: including our CRM partner, payment processing partner and any additional consultants or third parties. Work with them to make sure any technical issues or significant architectural changes are addressed.

Provide day-to-day support to our Digital Fundraiser: offering advice and guidance, working with them on campaigns and communications to help us achieve the goals as set out in our digital fundraising strategy, including regular pushes for key income streams such as regular giving.

Make sure we optimise any available budget to increase acquisition and conversion to help us achieve our strategic goals.

Keep colleagues up-to-date on our digital fundraising plans and make sure those plans are fed into our organisation-wide planning tools.

Look for opportunities for technology to enhance fundraising at THL UK, including use of AI.

Attending relevant events and conferences as necessary: whether to increase your learning, engage with peers in the animal protection or fundraising sectors, or to help raise our profile and support our wider fundraising efforts.

Hours:
This is a full time position of 37.5 hours per week over Monday to Friday.
From 1st July 2024 we are piloting a four day working week across the whole of the UK organisation. The pilot is planned to run for 12 months, at which point a decision will be made by our Board of Trustees as to whether this will become permanent. Success of the trial relies on the organisation being able to achieve the same or improved level of impact in four working days as five, with staff experiencing either the same or improved levels of wellbeing.
During the four day week pilot, working hours for this position will be reduced to 30 hours per week, to be worked across Monday to Thursday, with no reduction in salary. This will be a temporary change to the contractual terms for the successful candidate. The appointed person must be prepared to increase their working hours to 37.5 hours per week if a return to a five-day working week is decided. In the event that THL UK considers before the end of the trial period that the trial is having an adverse operational impact, we reserve the right to bring the trial to end on one month’s notice.
