About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the strategic and operational delivery of the FFLM’s aims and objectives. Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees and working closely with the President and senior officers, the CEO will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation forward, ensuring its long-term sustainability and impact.
The CEO will:
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for the FFLM, including 3–5-year plans to enhance our reputation and influence.
- Strengthen internal and external relationships with stakeholders, including professional bodies, government agencies, and policymakers.
- Oversee the organisation’s financial management, ensuring sound budgeting and sustainable income streams.
- Represent the FFLM publicly, managing media relations and acting as an ambassador for the organisation.
- Support and manage the FFLM’s office team and senior officers, fostering a culture of respect, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.

About the role
As a Regional Corporate Partnerships Manager, you'll make a mark on our Corporate Partnerships team, winning and creating exciting new partnerships for BHF.
In this role, you’ll be an essential member of the Corporate Partnerships Team, playing an integral role in shaping the future of our partnerships, ensuring targets for new business acquisition and subsequent account management are achieved.
Additionally support, empower, and enable the community fundraising teams to maximise their success in winning, retaining, and growing corporate partnerships.
Working arrangements
This part time 17 hour per week role will join a job share with an existing employee. Your working days will be Wednesday (full day), Thursday (full day), and Friday (morning). This is initially a 6-month Fixed Term Contract with potential to be made permanent. We are ideally looking to start someone in the role in March 2025.
This is a field-based role with some travel (approximately 2-3 trips per month) to meet with partners, prospects, and Community Fundraising teams across Scotland, the North, and North West of England (from Cumbria to Nantwich, including Manchester, Liverpool, and Warrington). Additionally, there will be occasional travel to Northern Ireland and Wales. You’ll be reimbursed for all reasonable travel expenses.
As this is a regional role and given the current pipeline of opportunities, we are looking for candidates who live in the North West of England, Scotland or Wales.
On occasion, you may also be required to work flexibly to support evening and weekend activity. Where this is the case, you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.
About you

Integral to coming into this role is your experience in winning new business, whether it’s from working for a charity in corporate partnerships or in the private sector in a sales role.
A strategic thinker, you’ll be brimming with innovative and creative ways to win new business. You'll also be confident in presenting to internal and external stakeholders at all levels and have experience of developing CRM/product promotion and sponsorship partnerships.
You can work under your own initiative from a home base while still contributing positively to the regional teams.
It is desirable (although not essential) for you to have a full UK driving licence and access to a car.

Job Purpose

Key Activities
The following activities are intended as a guide to the main responsibilities of the post and are not an exhaustive list of duties and tasks. - Design and deliver the communication plan of the organisation. This will include administration of:
- Website
- Social Media channels
- Newsletters
- Campaigns
- External comms and brand development
- Administration of our Supporter Care Programme. This will include:
- Being a dedicated point of contact for Community Fundraisers
- Regular comms with new donors and regular givers
- Developing campaigns to attract new supporters
- Supporting the UK team, as required. This will include:
- Supporting the CEO on a variety of projects at different times in the year (eg. working on our annual report, preparing papers for board meetings, preparing assets for a supporter event etc.)
- Supporting the Development Manager with fundraising bids, including design work and proof reading.
- Managing communications volunteers in the UK to help to build the capacity of the organisation.
- Supporting with general organisational admin, as required.
- Working with the S.A.L.V.E. team to deliver on our strategic plan. Contribute to its review and improvements over time to maximise the organisation’s impact with our service users through regular evaluation and learning reviews where required.

· Familiarity with commonly used social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
· Demonstrable experience of website administration (Wordpress preferred)
Desirable:
· Marketing qualification at either degree level or with recognised body e.g. Chartered Institute of Marketing.
· Experience of completing a website redesign/relaunch
· Experience in using a customer data platform for customer records such as Beacon (preferred).
· Video, photography and editing experience.
· Knowledge of Uganda and its culture, particularly if you have spent time there.
· Knowledge of international development, homelessness, social entrepreneurship, social work and/or addiction.
· Experience in producing commercial content for social media to build engagement with an audience.
· Experience in managing people, especially volunteers and delegating tasks.

Fundraising Manager
We’re at an exciting stage of expansion and are looking for a passionate and driven individual to lead our income generation strategy. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team to shape and execute a dynamic plan that ensures sustainable growth and long-term impact.
Role Description
The role holder will be a confident natural leader able to clearly set out and communicate a compelling future income generation direction for TDS. Additionally, the role holder will be a critical thinker who utilises real time data and past and future trends to make informed decisions, analyse past and current results in order to identify emerging opportunities, and embraces a continuous learning mindset that values both successes and failures.
Role tasks
• Update and oversee TDS’ fundraising strategy, plans and related targets by consulting with and securing the support of our Fundraising group.
• Work closely with the CEO to explore new fundraising initiatives and then evaluate and monitor progress vs goals.
• Support the CEO in identifying, developing and writing bids and grant applications. • Identify, develop and maintain relationships with community and corporate partners that support fundraising, pay as you earn, gifts-in-kind and volunteer engagement.
• Oversee fundraising events and activities undertaken by community and corporate partners, groups and individuals.
• Inspire the TDS fundraising staff and volunteer team, fostering a culture of ownership and accountability for income generation.
• Drive a refreshed telemarketing campaign to identify, acquire and engage corporate partners.

The role: As Programme Manager, you will be responsible for the Project Management Office function (PMO), coordinating and governing our projects focussed on delivering Mary’s Meals International’s (MMI) strategic objectives. Responsibilities:

We're looking for a Community Fundraising Manager - it's a great opportunity to develop a plan and deliver a diverse portfolio of fundraising activities to engage people with our work and contribute to our income.
You will manage a team to help develop innovative fundraising products, grow our supporter base and provide exceptional supporter stewardship.
Income generation
- Responsible for supporting the development of a 3-year community fundraising income strategy to grow income from a modest base of £125k per year to circa £275k per year.
- Implement the operational plan for community fundraising income.
- Plan, develop and deliver new community fundraising products, campaigns and events that will resonate with stakeholders including members, donors and volunteers to fundraise.
- Work collaboratively with Comms, Marketing & Digital teams to develop and drive forward promotion of community fundraising to reach existing and new audiences, including developing content for social channels, e-comms, webpages and fundraising packs.
- Establish a network of community fundraisers, building relationships with community fundraising ‘champions’, and providing excellent supporter care and timely communication.
- Evaluate community fundraising projects regularly and make changes when necessary.
Leadership, management and collaboration
- Lead the community fundraising programme in line with Marine Conservation Society values and organisational culture.
- Contribute to fundraising cross-team planning and strategy development.
- Line management of 2 part-time Community Fundraising support roles with responsibility for operational delivery of their fundraising plans and performance management including, 1-2-1 meetings, appraisals, day-day performance management against KPI’s, motivation and objective setting.
- Build collaborative relationships with peers across the charity.
Governance & reporting
- Manage the overall budget for community fundraising, including monitoring of income and expenditure against budget.
- Setting, measuring, and reporting against agreed KPIs
- Ensure the Community Fundraising team are accurately recording the receipt of donations and gifts received from supporters.
- Ensure accurate financial and CRM supporter records are maintained and accessible.
- Ensure all relationships comply with relevant charity law, GDPR requirements and the charity’s Ethical Fundraising Policy.
- Work with our Data Manager, Head of Marketing, and the Fundraising team to ensure the CRM database holds key, relevant profile information on supporters.
- Attend department and organisational meetings reporting on team related matters as required and cascading organisational priorities as appropriate.

- A track record in community fundraising or similar, with the ability to demonstrate success in meeting financial targets and income growth.
