This role will create engaging visual content (with a focus on video) to transform complex information into accessible and engaging stories. You'll support our social media presence, develop website content that resonates with audiences, and strengthen both internal and external communications. Using your creative talents alongside analytical skills in SEO and GA4, you'll enhance our digital presence while ensuring our work reaches and inspires our wide-ranging audiences.

Pay and conditions

• The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week).
• The salary for the role will be £25,750 – £29,147 per year (starting salary will depend on skills and experience).
• You will be entitled to 25 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays).

Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• Be responsible for curating CSE's social media content calendar. With support from digital comms manager, produce engaging content and ensure CSE’s social channels reflect our strategic goals.
• Create engaging multimedia digital content for websites, social media and our e-newsletter including written copy (blogs, news stories, content pages), video, and graphics using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Lead on producing video content to promote CSE’s work, including planning, filming, and editing content using Premier Pro.
• Maintain CSE’s video library, including our internal folders, processes, and YouTube channel.
• Support the Senior Communications and Brand Manager to develop CSE’s suite of branded content. This includes creating branded templates for colleagues to use as well as designing digital and print materials for projects.
• With support from the wider comms team, ensure our online presence including website, social media, email marketing and digital advertising reflects strategic goals.
• Support the day-to-day management of CSE’s website, including uploading and editing content.
• Support the digital communications manager with digital channel optimisation including PPC, SEO, social media (paid and organic) as well as re-designing pages to enhance user experience (UX).
• Commission external videographers and photographers when appropriate, dictated by project and business needs.
• Responsible for producing CSE’s monthly e-news with support from the comms team to ensure CSE’s key work is promoted to external stakeholders.
• Regularly track digital metrics and analyse performance data to optimise messaging and strategies and responsibility for monthly reporting.

Essential attributes for this role include:

• Minimum Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
• 3- 5 years’ experience in communications, marketing, PR, or related field.
• Excellent copywriting and editing abilities.
• Proficient with CMS platforms, email marketing and social media management tools.
• Ability to create multimedia content, including high quality short videos.

The Programme Officer (Research) will play an integral role in the Impact team within the broader Directorate of Impact and External Affairs. Public Interest Litigation Support (PILS) is a Belfast-based non-profit committed to supporting local organisations to use the law in a creative way to protect human rights and equality.

Now, PILS is looking for a Legal Support Manager to coordinate PILS’ membership network of law firms and NGOs, help them develop and submit applications for PILS’ services, and assist the PILS Director with legal casework.

The Programme Officer (PO) will be part of a five-person team, working under the direction of the Senior Programme Manager to advance the Foundation’s advocacy and creative work across and around our three thematic areas. The Programme Officer will play a leading role in integrating creativity into the Foundation’s advocacy work while making an important contribution to our flagship creative programmes. This role will design and deliver events, such as the Commonwealth People’s Forum and the Critical Conversations series, and support other advocacy initiatives.

The Role

The National Lottery Promotions Unit is seeking an experienced PR Campaigns Manager (14 month contract) to develop and implement creative campaigns, strengthening awareness of National Lottery Good Causes and connecting with target audiences.

In 2025-26, the NLPU will run a series of high-impact, nationwide campaigns demonstrating The National Lottery’s ability to change lives everyday. • You will help us connect our target audiences with The National Lottery brand making it feel relevant to them.  You will have strong skills developing and managing creative PR campaigns across multiple channels.  You will set and deliver against KPIs, informed by data and analytics.
•  You will advance the NLPUs external voice through innovation and staying relevant with trends and best practices. You will proactively take advantage of relevant external opportunities.

A dynamic approach to relationship management will be essential in order to influence stakeholders across the whole National Lottery Family, ensuring an aligned and stronger National Lottery voice. An important part of this role will be your ability to engage and influence stakeholders as part of our National Lottery Open Week campaign. This annual campaign will see you working with National Lottery funded organisations across the UK to involve them in the campaign.

The PR Campaigns Manager will work with PR agencies, media partners, talent, photographers, film makers, evaluation providers, research companies, content creators and other suppliers to deliver high quality work, within budget and set timescales. You will develop and nurture positive relationships with journalists across all media, including national and local newspapers, consumer publications, radio, TV and online.

This role is full-time and will work flexibly from our office in Thame. You will need to be happy working on your own, but as working with others is an important part of the role, we are looking for someone who also enjoys working as part of a team.

What you’ll do

Leading our communications team, the Head of Communications is responsible for strategic and tactical communications activity at ShareAction, covering both traditional media and our digital team.

The role is key to ensuring our visibility and thought leadership and promoting our campaigning activity. Today’s news agenda is moving increasingly fast, and this role will be critical to ensuring that we keep on top of developments and the opportunities and risks that these present.

As the Head of Communications, you will lead the team to business partner with all functions of ShareAction, from campaigning on the European banking sector to policy advocacy and our presence at AGMs.

A usual week will see you scanning the landscape, advising on reputation and positioning on emerging issues, as well as overseeing the delivery of tactical media and digital outputs.

As part of this role, you will regularly be engaging with journalists and others in the media landscape using your skills to ensure coverage, enhance our reputation and influence the financial sector and real-world companies. You will help ShareAction work towards our vision by positioning us as a voice of authority and a highly effective campaigning organisation.

What you’ll bring to the team

We want to hear from you if you have experience across media and digital communications and, particularly, in strategic communications. The role is right for someone with skills in narrative building, a keen eye for avoiding jargon and the ability to communicate technical language clearly and succinctly.

We think this role would suit someone who has previous experience in a campaigning communications role and who enjoys telling powerful stories.

While we hope we’ll find someone with the majority of these skills and experience, we’re keen to hear from you even if you don’t have them all. We appreciate lots of skills are transferable, and we welcome opportunities to explore different ways of achieving our goals.

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Grants Assistant with proven interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a small team. You will have the confidence to work independently, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks as well as contribute more widely to the team’s activities.

You will be hard-working, reliable and able to work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues across both the Charity and with staff across different hospital departments, ensuring that the reputation of the Charity and the Charity Team remains high by always working in a professional manner.

This post provides a key supporting role in the administration of the Charity, and you will provide finance and administrative support to the grant management processes to ensure that applications, approvals and payments are up to date and accurate and comply with charity policy and legislation.

An important aspect of this role will be in supporting the Grants Manager to implement the Charity’s new Grants strategy and deliver a successful grant-funding programme across the Trust, working alongside colleagues to ensure positive outcomes and the wider sharing of good news stories about grant awards.

You will be a point of contact for all grant queries and may need to guide claimants to manage the process, requiring a “helping hand” approach where necessary.

The successful candidate will have experience in an administrative or financial role, which ideally will have involved using online financial systems or databases.

Experience in the charity sector and knowledge of grant award processes would be an advantage.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITES

• Processing grants-related payments, working alongside the Grants Manager and other finance teams in the Trust, to investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
   
• Exporting grant and payment information from the Grants system and assisting with the reconciliation of the grants and the accounts systems as required.
   
• Maintaining the grants database and other records as necessary, ensuring systems are kept up to date and correspondence for grant applicants and suppliers are filed and stored in accordance with appropriate Data Protection requirements.
   
• Assisting in the processing, monitoring and follow-up of charity grants, including corresponding with grant applicants to obtain appropriate information to support the grant making process.
   
• Produce monitoring reports for the Senior Management Team and Grants Manager.
   
• Provide support and guidance to NUH staff and to the Charity’s fund advisors, offering advice on appropriate charitable funds expenditure in line with Charity Guidelines and the Charity Commission’s donor intent guidelines and legislation.
   
• Liaison with hospital staff and charity fundraisers in relation to donor intent, including assisting with the fulfilment of Charity Grants and procurement of small items.
   
• Be the first point of contact for small grants, participating in Trust engagement and providing support to applicants and grantees as required. Deputising with the administration of the grant applications and awards process in the absence of the Grants Manager.
   
• Undertake other work in support of the Charity’s objectives and any other duties identified by the Charity Executives and/or Grants Manager.
  
   

 GENERAL DUTIES
 

• Providing effective day to day administrative support covering the Charity phone line and jointly monitor the Charity Grants inbox ensuring all emails are answered or distributed as required.
   
• Providing cover arrangements in relation to general charity administration including opening post, ordering stationery, credit card purchasers, receiving and counting donations (cheque and cash) from staff and other donors in accordance with charity procedure.
   
• Meet and greet donors and visitors as required, and ensuring that a customer-focused approach is adopted at all times to maximise the opportunities of encouraging donor giving.
   
• Assisting new members of staff and providing absence cover for other Finance team members as agreed from time-to-time.
   
• Participating in external and internal annual audits as required.
   
• Working within legal and charity guidelines.
   
• Participating in and contributing to own Personal Development Review.
   
• To carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required.
