You will provide 1st class IT support to our staff, volunteers, retail and remote users. Reporting to the IT Support Lead you will assist with management of calls to the IT Helpdesk.
Role requirements:
- Provide first line IT support
- Provide technical support to staff and volunteers within the organisation
- Work in a Helpdesk environment with ticket escalation, recording all support activities
- Assist with projectors, interactive whiteboards and AV equipment
- Arrange warranty hardware repairs
- Survey IT equipment and keep asset registers up to date
- Deliver services to support an 8am - 6pm coverage within an agreed pattern of rotation.
- Communication
- Facilitate effective communication with the organisation.
- Maintain clear and concise documents and records, in accordance with The Children’s Trust Policies.
- Ensure documents are managed confidentially at all times.
- Answer and manage telephone enquiries in a professional manner, taking messages and referring to relevant staff members, as and when required.
- Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.
