This role is based from RSA House in London for at least three days per week, with hybrid flexibility for the remaining days.

• Previous experience of copywriting for different audiences using brand tones and voice.
• A competent copywriter who writes creative and compelling content for various media.
• Ability to write clear, concise and engaging content.
• Previous involvement in designing and optimising email lifecycle marketing campaigns, including onboarding and engagement ones.
• Adaptability and willingness to iterate content based on user feedback, testing and changing requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-departmental teams.

Women and Girls Network (WGN) has been supporting survivors of sexual violence for over 35 years. One of our first services was the Sexual Violence Helpline which offers confidential emotional support affected by any form of sexual violence. Over the last 5 years WGN has undergone significant growth and development as a provider of Sexual Violence services in London primarily with the addition of the London Survivors Gateway (which is a collaboration between eight specialist London agencies - the four Rape Crisis Centres, SurvivorsUK, Galop, Respond and the Havens - who work with survivors of sexual violence and abuse and this partnership is led by WGN).

We are seeking a coordinator for our educational mentoring programme for young refugees and asylum seekers. The coordinator will oversee our North London mentoring hub by recruiting and training volunteer mentors and matching them to young people needing additional educational support.

Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it. Our vision is a world in which all women and girls are economically equal and live their lives free of abuse and exploitation.

Economic abuse is a form of coercive and controlling behaviour: 95% of women who experience domestic abuse will experience economic abuse. It limits their choices and ability to access safety. 

We work in partnership to ensure women have access to and control over their own economic resources. We focus on four strategic priorities: public education and awareness-raising; transforming professional responses; ensuring systems do not inadvertently facilitate economic abuse; and influencing policy.

Our work is led by victim-survivors of economic abuse (Experts by Experience). Their lived experience and knowledge shapes everything we do. We are always learning, and we share our expertise via a national working group and an international network of practitioners, researchers and policymakers.

About the Compass Project

The Compass Project Coordinator will work as part of an exciting new partnership between Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA), Living Without Abuse (LWA) and RISE (Refuge, Information, Support & Education). The Compass Project seeks to develop best practice responses to economic abuse within the coordinated community response by working with local professionals to help them understand and respond to economic abuse.

About the Compass Project Coordinator role

The Compass Project Coordinator will work to:

• Act as a point of contact for stakeholders across the Project areas (Brighton & Hove, Leicester, Rutland and Leicestershire), coordinating stakeholder engagement and access to training and resources. 
• Work closely with the Interim Women’s Sector Manager to coordinate and implement the Compass Project in pilot sites.

The Compass Project Coordinator will:

1. Collaborate with Compass Project Partners to:

• Support the coordination of training and dissemination of resources to professionals across the two pilot sites.
• Identify and engage with local lived experience groups and women with experience of economic abuse, ensuring inclusion of women from minoritised groups, to inform and guide our work.
• Develop and maintain key working relationships and partnerships with various stakeholders and partners across the two local sites including the facilitation of links with money and debt advice services, and local financial services.
• Support the collection of qualitative and quantitative data from the network for the purpose of project and external evaluation.

2. Facilitating access to economic abuse training and resources:

• Develop and deliver tailored training sessions on economic abuse to enable frontline workers to recognise and respond to economic abuse.
• Work with Compass Project Partners to integrate relevant economic abuse content into existing resources.
•  Implement data collection processes to support the evaluation of the project.
• Ensure effective communication with the project group and coordination of activities across the two pilot sites. Promote and facilitate SEA’s established routes to support for survivors and professionals.
• Attend local VAWG/DA Network meetings in a consultative capacity as an expert for economic abuse.
• Work with the communications teams across project partners to effectively promote the project.
• Facilitate referrals for women to the Domestic and Financial Abuse Team at Lloyds Banking Group and other banks/building societies we have direct links into.

•  Represent SEA in training and presentation requests.
• Contribute to evaluation reports and presentations as required for the Compass Project.

We work in partnership with Age UK Buckinghamshire to deliver the Hospital Discharge Support Service. The service covers the county of Buckinghamshire and aims to improve the experience of people leaving hospital, at what can be a very difficult time for them. Our teams work with patients to make this experience more manageable and to minimise the risk of readmission. This service supports people aged 18 who are leaving hospital after a stay. Older people are highly represented in this client group.

We are looking to recruit an experienced person-centred leader who is passionate about delivering services that make a difference to people’s lives. You will have responsibility of maintaining a high level of service delivery with impressive outcomes. You will lead a team of staff with oversight of each service area, will be highly organised, able to make decisions and use your initiative. The role will also involve monitoring service processes, systems, and workforce capacity to enable us to identify areas for change and improvement.

The purpose of the role is to manage and deliver the day-to-day operation of the service. Operating across Buckinghamshire, our discharge staff are based at both Stoke Mandeville and Wexham Park hospitals. Our community team are based in the Age UK Buckinghamshire offices in Aylesbury but reach out to serve residents across the county. Additionally, a team of volunteers provide additional capacity and reach. The post holder will be based at the office in Aylesbury but will be expected to travel across the two hospital sites when required,

The hospital teams operate 7 days a week supporting patients on discharge. Over a year more than a thousand patients will be taken home by our teams and helped to settle in safely. The community team will support residents post discharge, liaising with any other services, offering practical support to settle in at home such as shopping, light housework or picking up prescriptions and offering a regular call to ensure all is well.

This role provides support to LGBTQ+ people who have experienced domestic abuse and are living in safe accommodation in the community. The goal is to help people prepare for independent living in their own tenancies. The Resettlement Worker will meet with each resident to assess their needs and agree goals which will help them achieve independence. The Resettlement Worker then puts together a support plan and meets regularly with service users to provide support, challenge and encouragement as they make their journey.

Key Responsibilities

• To provide a high quality, flexible and responsive support service to LGBTQ+ people who have experienced domestic abuse, supporting them towards independent living or suitable alternative housing through the provision of 1-1 support sessions and group work.

• To assess the individual needs of each person and provide a bespoke support plan.

• To ensure that effective service user participation mechanisms are in place.

• To ensure a high level of customer care and practice at all times.

• To develop links with relevant external agencies.

Main Duties of the Post

Support Sessions

• To give holistic support to LGBTQ+ people accessing our domestic abuse resettlement service and to provide proactive support to these service users who are sometimes hard to engage.

• To meet face to face with service users regularly to provide structured support, in relation to LGBTQ+ and Housing specific issues, such as gender identity pathways, mental health services, health issues, safeguarding, liaising with the professional network.

• To work with LGBTQ+ people to develop and review individual support plans and risk assessments.

• To liaise with other service providers ensuring service users receive the necessary support to sustain their accommodation, acquire relevant independent living skills, maintain or improve positive physical and mental health and access into meaningful occupation of their time.

Financial Support

• To assist service users in maximising and managing their income including universal credit, ESA, PIP and Housing Benefit.

Semi-independent Living Support

• To work with service users to enable them to develop the life and social skills necessary to sustain their accommodation and prepare them for independent living.

• To assess individual service user’s suitability for independent accommodation.

• To act quickly to manage incidents and to advise, support and assist service users unable to maintain supported accommodation into more appropriate housing options.

Resettlement

• To support service users in the completion of application forms necessary to support move-on housing, including the private rented sector.

• To ensure that all service users are provided with information about local services whilst in safe accommodation and during their move on.

• To ensure all service users are fully aware of their rights and responsibilities in their home.

• To work with housing providers, both public and private, to negotiate move on options.

Groupwork, Consultation and Participation

• To work as part of a team in developing user participation.

• To identify and develop appropriate and flexible processes for consulting with our service users, via social media platforms, newsletters, events and workshops.

• To devise innovative and creative ways of involving LGBTQ+ people in the running of the service with an independent approach.

What you’ll be doing

Your focus will be to grow our charity’s impact and revenue streams by fundraising for environmental education, benefitting people and nature by securing funds from supporters, trusts/foundations, and businesses.

Where you’ll be based

St Neots Foodbank was founded ten years ago by the town’s churches; and is part of the Trussell Trust network and is still managed by trustees from those churches. At St Neots Foodbank we have our own warehouse and run four distribution centres across St Neots each week; all currently staffed by over 70 volunteers.

As Operations Manager, you will oversee the operations at St Neots Foodbank, giving particular attention to operational efficiency and standards in line with the terms of the franchise, including the implementation of existing policies and standard operating processes. You will be instrumental in enabling our Foodbank to continue to support our community and support and guide its future development.

Our ideal candidate will have relevant experience and be able to demonstrate great leadership qualities to build strong teams based on trust and understanding. Self-motivation, organisation and excellent interpersonal skills will be essential for this role. If so, St Giles Trust is looking for a Caseworker to play a key role in our award-winning SOS+ project. SOS+ educates children and young people around the risks and signs of exploitation, serious violence and gangs, through group facilitated sessions and tailored one-to-one intervention sessions in schools and other community settings. It also takes an evidence-based approach which educates professionals and parents, as well as children and young people between the ages of 10-25 years.

About this key role
A key member of the St Giles Yorkshire team, as well as our Central SOS+ team, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering 1-2-1 educational sessions to children and young people on topics such as grooming, weapons awareness, the reality of prison, gangs, county lines and child sexual exploitation. You’ll also need to work closely with partner agencies and attend multi-agency meetings and support the design and development of new sessions and materials. All the while, you’ll be supported by a Peer Advisor with lived experience of adverse experiences linked to exploitation, county lines or prison. 

What we are looking for

• Experience of engaging with challenging children and young people, e.g., those with complex needs, who are reluctant to discuss their needs or who are angry and confused
• A track record gained working with socially excluded children, young people and adults, including delivering/facilitating sessions to groups – especially socially excluded children and young people in schools or similar settings
• Knowledge of gangs, knife crime and patterns of offending in West Yorkshire or a similar area, plus a proven ability to negotiate and network with partner agencies to establish links to further the aims of a project
• An Education and Training and/or Mentoring Level 3 qualification, or similar, or a willingness to work towards this.
• A flexible and collaborative approach, a positive attitude, emotional resilience, confidence when speaking in front of a group and a flair for planning sessions using a variety of resources.

A driver's license and a car are essential due to the rural areas covered.
