About the Role
Over the past 7 years, UnLtd have developed and built an investment offer for social purpose organisations. This has included the development and full deployment of two investment funds - UnLtd Impact Fund, and the Thrive Fund. We launched our third investment fund in partnership with Big Issue Invest in December 2022. The Growth Impact Fund is currently a £10m fund focussed on providing capital for diverse-led social purpose organisations.
Reporting into the Director of Delivery & Investment, this person would be responsible and accountable for our investment work across UnLtd. This includes the management of the previously deployed funds as well as management of UnLtd’s role in the delivery of the Growth Impact Fund, specifically the management of the pre and post investment support and the management of our portfolio of investees.
This is a significant role for UnLtd. It requires experience of working on and in an investment fund, managing a complex and ever-changing investment portfolio, as well as the ability to manage a team, and a high-level strategic partnership with Big Issue Invest.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as our Senior UK Policy Adviser (Early Education).
As a member of the UK Policy and Advocacy team this role will be responsible for leading our policy work focusing on early childhood education, with a particular focus on the home learning environment and developing primary research engaging with very young children. Working closely with colleagues across the Advocacy and Programmes Departments, the role will be expected to develop and deliver an effective influencing strategy, based on robust evidence and persuasive policy asks that help support the cognitive, social and emotional development of babies and young children living in the UK. You’ll be joining at an exciting time for our team as we adapt our Early Moments Matter Campaign to the context of influencing and engaging with a new Government.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have an in-depth understanding of policy-making processes and how to develop effective influencing strategies, excellent research and writing skills and a good understanding of the policy context of early childhood education and/or other UK child wellbeing topic area.

About us
Women and Girls Network (WGN) was established in 1987 and has spent over 30 years supporting women and girls across London affected by gendered violence. This includes childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape, prostitution (including trafficking and sexual exploitation), female genital mutilation (FGM), and so-called ‘honour’ based crimes such as forced marriage.
Our goal is to promote, preserve, and restore the mental health and wellbeing of women and girls, to empower them to make a total and sustainable recovery from the experiences of violence.
About the role
WGN’s specialist Training Service aims to improve and enhance front-line staff effectiveness while influencing best practice in the field of violence against women and girls (VAWG). This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and efficient individual to provide administration support to WGN’s Training department. We are looking for someone who is able to support and contribute to the training teams’ proficiency, planning, promotion and innovation.
The Training Administrator is a core role within the Training Team. The successful candidate will provide a high level of administrative support to underpin the delivery of specialist training, act as the first point of contact for the service, manage the application system and ensure that the systems required to maintain an excellent service are seamlessly efficient and effective. As with all WGN team members, the Training Administrator is responsible for actively working within an intersectional striving for the highest quality and best practice.

Reporting to our Head of Marketing and Fundraising, this position plays a key role in raising the profile of Green Light Trust to targeted audiences through a range of marketing and fundraising activities and campaigns.
The priorities in this role will include:
· Researching and progressing fundraising opportunities to help us grow our income and impact
· Developing fundraising campaigns and appeals, and working on engaging communications to build our supporter base and generate income
· Record, monitor and track our fundraising progress and evaluate effectiveness of channels and campaigns
· Ensure supporter data is accurate and managed according to regulations, permissions and consent
· In consultation with finance colleagues, ensure that donations, other income and gifts in kind are correctly recorded and donors are appropriately and promptly thanked
· Contribute to the content plan, and create compelling authentic content to be shared via all marketing channels, using copywriting for blogs & news, as well as photos and videos / podcasts & vlogs
· Create and schedule engaging social media posts in line with campaigns and messaging
· Undertake monthly reporting on all marketing and fundraising activities, to evidence effectiveness of campaigns and growth of supporter base
