Youth Mix is an award-winning young people’s charity that’s about “Inspiring a Generation” empowering young people to be change-makers in their communities, as well as through projects that UNITE communities, EDUCATE on social issues, INSPIRE a generation of leaders and CREATE active citizens.
What is our mission
We will be delivering an array of highly effective projects engaging with hard to reach young people across England, particularly in areas of high need. Projects will include providing tools and approaches on life and social skills, mentoring, organising community cohesion events, delivering workshops on topics relevant to young people’s needs and promoting volunteering opportunities.
About the role
We need an experienced Marketing & Communications Volunteer to join us who is able to set up and develop our communications, including running our social media platforms and creating a fantastic positive energy and buzz about Youth Mix and young people.
The role is what you make it and as a leader within the charity, you will have a massive input on the culture, comms and direction of the charity, creating an amazing platform for us to create a huge positive energy for both the charity and young people.
As this role is voluntary, the role offers great flexibility to fit around your time (including daytimes, evenings and/or weekends), where you will mostly manage your own workload, including mostly home based working. As a vital member of our team, you will:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase awareness and engagement.
- Create exciting and impactful content for social media, newsletters, and other communication channels.

- Work on campaigns that generate support for Youth Mix’s initiatives.
- Support us in engaging with partners, donors, and supporters through innovative communications.

Volunteer Position: Champion.
Location: Remote with occasional in-person event participation.

Position Summary:
As a Champion for ROLDA, you will play a crucial role in driving our online and in-person fundraising efforts. This position is ideal for a passionate individual dedicated to animal welfare who wants to help make a tangible difference towards our rescue efforts. In tandem with the ROLDA team, you will lead initiatives, develop strategies, and inspire supporters to contribute to ROLDA’s mission, amplifying our impact.
Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising Strategy Development: Collaborate with ROLDA’s leadership to create and implement innovative online and in-person fundraising campaigns.

Requirements:

Previous experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or community engagement (experience in nonprofit organisations is a plus).

East London Waterworks Park is looking for comms strategists and PR managers to help grow East London Waterworks Park's audiences.
East London Waterworks Park is a charity that has raised £2m towards buying land from the Department for Education to transform the 14-acre Thames Water Depot on Lea Bridge Road on the border of Waltham Forest and Hackney, into a new biodiverse park with natural swimming ponds, forest schools and community spaces.
We are looking for communications strategists and PR to participate in our community-led working group who are promoting public awareness and support of the project.
There is opportunity to lead on projects across communications, content creation, social media, PR, newsletters, film, podcasts or any other channels of interest, and facilitate the direction of the working group.
The Comms Circle currently meets fortnightly on a Tuesday evening on Google Meet and spends voluntary time outside of the meeting completing agreed tasks remotely.

About YAUK
Youth Advantage UK is a charitable organization that uses a research-led approach to inform policy work and projects that aim to promote and further the human rights of young people aged 11 to 25 across the United Kingdom.

We are looking for 3 experienced creative writers who will enjoy planning, updating and delivering the content for our website, as well as other digital and print materials. We are looking for 3 skilled professional who can write compelling and persuasive content, who will help ensure a consistent tone across all our digital and printed communications to promote awareness and engagement.
We deal with a wide range of people and professions, which means that it can be difficult to consistently communicate with everyone effectively. Therefore, a communication and marketing volunteer will help to market our projects, services and the condition more widely than we are currently able to do. This includes creating and helping to distribute marketing materials, creating content for the Burning Nights CRPS Support website and helping us create and develop a communications and marketing strategy.
Key Tasks and Objectives
- Copywriting: Create well-written and compelling copy for use in leaflets, packs, one-page/fact sheets, fundraising/promotional materials, membership packs and on our website
- Case study writing and storytelling: Help communicate our impact via stories and case studies that we can use on our website, in marketing materials, or for our fundraising materials
- Web copywriting: Create and update engaging content for our website that adheres to our brand
· Email/E-Newsletter content: Write compelling email content for our various e-newsletters that is relevant and has clear call-to-actions. This will be in conjunction with our email marketing volunteers
· Communication materials review: Review our existing communications materials. Recommend edits that will provide us with consistency in writing style and tone, accurate spelling and grammar, and a clear and engaging voice for our organisation. Evaluate the way we communicate with volunteers, members of the public and helping us to develop better ways of doing this
· Social media snippets - create information and case study snippets for the various social media platforms
· Press Releases and any content that could be used in different channel
· Brochure/annual review writing: Create or update copy for a brochure or our annual review, highlighting our impact current and potential stakeholders
