The Head of Policy and Communications leads the full range of SIDA’s policy work: engaging with members and external stakeholders, recognising and acting on opportunities for influence, and leading influencing and communications with key audiences. The jobholder will also be responsible for the organisation’s communications strategy with a focus on encouraging greater interaction with members and raising awareness of global citizenship with the wider public.
The jobholder works with the Chief Executive on policy development, political engagement and organisational strategy development. They will bring substantial knowledge of the Scottish political and policy landscape with them to the role, alongside an understanding of how meaningful global solidarity is possible in the devolved and UK contexts.
They also share with the Chief Executive the role of representing the organisation in the public domain - to the media and in key forums and networks - with a particular focus on driving progress on the UN SDGs, building cross-sectoral partnerships and collaborations, and enhancing policy coherence for sustainable development, including in the context of the climate crisis and delivering a wellbeing economy.

The Digital Marketing Executive role is part of the Data and Communications team and reports into the Marketing and Communications Manager. You will be responsible for managing the Engineering Council’s digital channels, with a focus on the website, social media (organic and paid) and email marketing. There is huge scope to grow and develop their digital presence and establish new processes and guidelines, working alongside other team members, so this role would suit someone who is collaborative, proactive and highly motivated,
To succeed in the Digital Marketing Executive role you will need:
- Demonstrable experience in website, social media and email marketing, ideally with a B2B focus
- The ability to create informative and compelling content, including copy, images and videos
- Strong analytical skills and competence using databases and CRM systems

The Merlin Neuro Therapy Centre, located in mid-Cornwall, is a Cornish charity providing a place of support, therapy, information, and community for people living with a long-term neurological condition and/or those who are neurodiverse. We give financial assistance to our beneficiaries in the form of subsidised specialist therapies. Our purpose built, fully accessible Centre, opened in 2009 and offers physiotherapy; exercise classes; Ayres’ Sensory Integration (ASI) therapy (a discipline of Occupational Therapy), and oxygen therapy. The Primrose Hydrotherapy Pool facility, which was built in the grounds, opened in 2019, providing both individual and group hydrotherapy sessions.
Living with a long-term health condition brings many challenges, not just for those diagnosed, but also for family members. Symptoms can affect physical, cognitive, emotional, and psychological health. For our clients who have sensory processing difficulties, due to being neurodivergent, everyday situations and relationships can be perplexing and taxing.

About the role:
The role of Multimedia and Art Coordinator will be delivered through two distinct spaces: the Multimedia Room and the Arts and Crafts Studio. About the role
The role of the Policy and Communications Officer (PCO) is to support in building the capacity of RMC to advocate and address the root causes of problems faced by its clients by influencing our key stakeholders. The case recording system used by RMC to record information about clients and their issues, generates both statistical and qualitative information providing the evidence to support our work.
As one of the largest providers of free immigration advice in the country RMC is looking to;
- grow its influencing work regionally using the evidence from working with our clients
- undertake research into issues faced by our clients and explore recommendations and possible solutions, whilst providing feedback to our stakeholders on key issues
- support local and appropriate national initiatives, undertake advocacy and influencing work on local and national issues with a view to improve the lives of the clients we work with and drive positive change
The PCO will be responsible for establishing systems to collect and collate, with the support of the front-line team, information and data pertinent to this work. In collaboration with the Immigration Department Manager, they will test and develop new initiatives to produce a model for social policy work that can be rolled out across RMC.
While the PCO will lead on production of evidence to identify key issues, tasked by the Immigration Department Manager they will also take responsibility for designing and writing materials internally and externally.
The PCO will also develop relationships with key stakeholders externally such as Universities, Local Authorities, Councillors, MP’s, charities, strategic migration partnership, observatories, etc.

As a Data Selections Officer, you will work closely with various teams across the organisation, gathering data requirements and ensuring that selections align with campaign goals. You will manage the scheduling and delivery of complex targeted data segmentations and selections for campaign activities across direct mail, telephone, email, SMS, and social media channels. Additionally, you'll be responsible for building and managing complex data segmentations, making sure all outputs comply with data protection regulations and internal policies.
You'll also manage and maintain automated supporter journeys using our campaign management tools. This involves streamlining processes and ensuring efficiency in how data is selected and utilised.

What are we looking for?
You will need to be detail-orientated with advanced experience in working with relational databases and large datasets, ideally using systems like Dynamics 365 or Raiser's Edge. You should have a strong background in delivering complex data selections using campaign management tools such as FastStats, PeopleStage, or Dynamics 365 Customer Insights.
Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and data manipulation, is essential, as is a solid understanding of data protection regulations and fundraising compliance.
You'll need excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. Attention to detail and data integrity is crucial, along with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. A unique opportunity for an experienced communications professional to lead a high-performing multifaceted team to promote and elevate the visibility, awareness and reputation of the RAF Benevolent Fund. You will be a strategic and agile thinker, someone who understands the need to be able to quickly pivot communications as organisational needs require. You will be responsible for developing and delivering the annual communications plan to drive high quality, effective and engaging communications for the charity. Collaborating with colleagues, partners and the RAF Family, you’ll play a key role in driving and embedding our aims, priorities and our values in all communications.
