About us
Who we are
The Merlin Neuro Therapy Centre is an independent charity located in mid-Cornwall which provides a place of support, therapy, information, and community for people in Cornwall with a long-term neurological condition (LTNC) or a neurodiversity. We provide subsidised specialist therapies to our beneficiaries. Our purpose built, fully accessible Centre, opened in 2009 and offers physiotherapy; hydrotherapy; exercise classes; Ayres’ Sensory Integration (ASI) therapy (a discipline of Occupational Therapy), and oxygen therapy. We also refer beneficiaries for advocacy and advice on finance, debt, housing, benefits, and to support individual grant applications. Support is also provided for carers, with therapies, information, and carer breaks, access to peer support and opportunities to socialise. Our main aims are to improve the health and well-being of our community; help people manage their symptoms and situations; and support their main care giver, often a family member.
Our culture and values
To support and encourage independence and confidence; and inspire friendship and connectivity amongst our beneficiaries.
To be a centre of excellence; providing expert therapies, support, kinship, and information for our community.
