Purpose

What You Will Be Doing as Head of Policy, Voice, and Influencing
As Head of Policy, Voice, and Influencing, your responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement an influencing strategy to drive changes in the SEND system.

Look Good Feel Better is a national cancer charity devoted to delivering workshops that help people living with a cancer diagnosis to cope with the physical and emotional side effects of their treatment. Delivered by trained volunteers from the beauty industry, the free workshops offer practical advice about changes to skin and hair as well as supporting body confidence and well-being. About the role
Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and Communications, Head of Fundraising, and Head of Programme Services, as well as external digital marketing agencies and outsourced communications partners, this is an exciting and rewarding role for someone who is looking to work strategically across multiple communications as part of a growing organisation.
Key responsibilities within the role will include:
- Create and deliver communications plans and campaign briefs.

Oundle School Development Office is seeking a Database and Gifts Officer. Our small, friendly team keeps in touch with over 10,000 alumni around the world and is responsible for processing and stewarding gifts of more than c. £1 million per year.
THE ROLE
This role has a central part to play in the excellent stewardship of our community, which sits at the heart of all we do. We are a public-facing team and the postholder will be the first point of contact for enquiries within our office and therefore requires good interpersonal and communication skills.
You will have responsibility for maintaining excellent standards of data accuracy, creating reports and insights to inform our development strategies, and contribute to the stewardship of our supporters.
The post would suit someone who enjoys working with and analysing data, and who can translate the numbers into a narrative. You will have excellent IT skills attention to detail, and will be comfortable in working with databases and with packages such as Microsoft Excel.

The Access & Participation Project Coordinator is a brand new, exciting role designed to support LSESU’s work around access and participation.
The successful candidate will play a lead role in identifying areas where there is a need/opportunity for targeted interventions to support the experiences of students from disadvantaged backgrounds, before putting then translating these into evidence-based proposals.
The Access & Participation Project Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing and delivering these programmes, as well as for reporting back on them and proactively seeking ways of driving continuous improvement.
The role will also oversee the delivery of the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Mentoring Scheme. This landmark programme, that was last year nominated at the National Diversity Awards, pairs students from ethnic minority backgrounds with LSE alumni, who provide the former with mentoring and support during their studies.
The successful person will be responsible for reviewing the programme and seeking to build upon its fledgling success to ensure it is bigger, better and more impactful than ever.
This role will also involve close working with stakeholders at LSE, especially those working on the delivery of LSE’s Access & Participation Plan (APP).
You would be joining a fantastic and friendly Advice Team, consisting of the Advice Caseworker and Advice Manager, that sits within the wider Student Voice Department, and which together oversees all of the Union’s advice, policy, democratic, campaigning and representation work.
Given the breadth of work undertaken within the department, expect there to be plenty of opportunities to grow, develop and pick up new skills outside of the main responsibilities of the role.

Ygam is seeking an Insight and Innovation Officer to join our Insight and Innovation team. The post holder will work with the Head of Insight and Innovation, supporting with research, knowledge translation, evaluations and insights into children and young people’s experiences of gaming and gambling harms.
Our Insight & Innovation team aids the design and delivery of Ygam’s strategy by supporting evidence-based decision making. By working across the charity to leverage and disseminate internal and external insight, the team enables intelligent decision-making and strengthens the organisation’s understanding of the world in which it operates.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an Insight and Innovation Officer to work collaboratively with the Head of Insight & Innovation, and teams from across the organisation to deliver research and stakeholder insight workstreams. The outputs from these workstreams will guide, challenge and provide practical support for the planning, long-term development, and effective delivery of Ygam’s strategic ambitions.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
Research, insight and knowledge translation:
· Support the commissioning and managing of research activities and collaborations.
· Develop longitudinal research to understand programme impact on our beneficiaries.
· Keep abreast of current and future developments in gaming and gambling harm prevention, critically appraising these and summarising them as part of our knowledge translation function.

The HR Data Analyst plays a key role in providing relevant data and analytics by providing insightful reports that help support strategic business decisions across the organisation.
About the Role
You will be responsible for updating and maintaining the HR database, so it is essential that you have worked on a HRIS, producing regular reports and management information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as first point of contact for system and process queries including holiday, sickness, leavers and internal transfers.
- ‘Technical expert’ for the HR system providing support and coaching to HR colleagues and new users, reporting any required fixes, testing and support continuous development of the HR system.
- Support and maintenance of HR software including the inputting, updating and transferring of data.
- Be responsible for producing reports and utlise Excel solutions for data manipulation, formula writing, data visulalisation, pivot tables and data filtering.
- Ensure data integrity through the use and creation of validation reports to identify and correct issues, errors and anomalies in relation to post, employee, pay and reporting lines.
- Provide regular ad hoc reports including KPIs, appraisals, exit interviews, sickness absence, equalities, leave etc and assist budget exercises and auditing. Analyse people management data and identify trends.
About You
To be successful in the role of you will need to be proficient in Excel and enjoy producing complex data analytics. You will have great communication skills and be committed to the values of the organisation.
Some of the key skills and experience you will need to bring with you include:
- Experience in working within a human resources team, primarily in areas such as HR systems, management information and HR metrics.
- A working knowledge of HR systems, databases and have worked on a HRIS.
- Experience of prioritising and analysing large datasets, detecting and correcting errors, interpreting and reporting/presenting results in a meaningful way.
- Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation, formula writing, data visualisation, pivot tables and data filtering.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to always maintain a high level of accuracy and numeracy.
You will be confident working with HR systems, data and enjoy compiling figures and analytics and present this data in an accurate and meaningful way, so attention to detail is essential. You will play a key role in the future development of the HR system (Civica HR).
You will be joining a friendly well-established HR team, so you will have the support there if you need it, however, the ability to work autonomously and pro-actively is also a must.

This person will work closely with the Programme team which currently comprises of a Scotland Programme Coordinator and the CEO to co-create the programme of work and collaborate with the Communications Team to ensure it is promoted to the women of Wales.
The key elements of the role are:
- Act as a point of contact for our growing community of women across Wales.
- Coordinate the development of the organisation’s Welsh learning hub; a suite of fully accessible, women-centred political literacy resources.
- Coordinate the annual programme of activity for women in Wales.
- Support the development of the learning hub.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Work with the communications team to grow the community of women working with the organisation across Wales
- Grow a network of 30 grassroots organisations working with women across Wales; to grow a foundational community of 200 women actively engaged in Wales’s democracy.
- Facilitate a network of Welsh women in elected office
- Work with senior leadership to nurture relationships with governments and democratic institutions across Wales to connect individual initiatives working to encourage more women to participate in democracy.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with key organisations working in intersectional feminism and political literacy across Wales.
- Work with social researchers to capture the experiences of women in Wales engaged in the Welsh democratic and political processes

You will be a proactive, efficient, and organised individual with excellent coordination and administration skills You will be based in Wales, happy to work remotely and travel to in-person meetings when required.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in utilising a wide range of management skills and techniques to ensure the effective use of resources and so enable successful project delivery.
- Experience in planning and organisation and a demonstratable track record of ensuring that deadlines and agreed targets are met.
- Experience working in women’s issues and/or democracy
- Demonstratable understanding of Wales’s political environment including structures, roles, and processes
- The ability to use your initiative and make decisions under pressure.

We demystify the process of standing for elected office and motivate women to create action plans for standing through free workshops and online resources. Our Strategy Enablement directorate brings together four core enabling support functions - HR Delivery, Tech & Data, Governance, Planning & Property and Finance where this particular role sits. The Finance team consists of thirty two people, working as a team of experts to safeguard resources and support decision making across Shelter. About the role
As the Head of Financial Control and Operations (FC&O), you’ll be managing a highly engaged team of fourteen with three direct reports who are supported to drive their own development. This role has a critical remit within our wider Finance team, managing our Supporter Income, Accounts Payable Team and Financial Control team. We’ll count on you when it comes to maintaining robust financial controls, including compliance with laws, reporting standards and regulations. You’ll support your managers and their teams in ensuring we steward our resources carefully.
You’ll be working closely with our Assistant Director for Finance, assuring Shelter’s leadership that we have a financial control capability that meets the needs of our organisation. You’ll form part of our Finance Leadership Team, working with your peers and the Assistant Director in leading the finance function, ensuring we deliver the Finance plan within budget and provide our people with a work culture in which they can succeed and thrive.
About you
You will be an experienced finance professional and chartered accountant, with experience of year-end processes, including accounts production and external audits, and have a good understanding of charity finance including the laws, regulations and taxation that come with this. You’ll need a strong control mindset, with experience and understanding of effective financial control frameworks.
You’ll have great people management skills and experience, not only in leading your team to success but also with knowing how to influence and challenge peers at all levels to ensure that we work collaboratively and manage Shelter’s financial resources effectively. Excellent time and project management skills are also required, including the ability to work to competing deadlines and prioritise asks when circumstances change.
Add in, excellent attention to detail with a high-level of numeracy and good MS Excel skills, as well as strong experience of using accounting software (Unit 4 Business World is desirable), and it’s clear you have exactly what we’re looking for.
