Brighton & Hove LGBT Switchboard connects and supports people in need across Sussex. Originally set up as a helpline in 1975, we've grown to deliver a wide range of essential services for our community.

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated, experienced fundraiser to oversee and drive forward all of our income generation. This post will work closely alongside our various teams and projects to raise awareness of our work among potential supporters. The postholder will be responsible for building sustainable and diverse income streams through regular giving, bid writing, events, and corporate partnerships. You will establish engaging supporter journeys that maintain long-term relationships with regular donors, high net worth supporters, and corporate clients.
Here's the person specification for the role:
- At least 2 years of experience of proven success in a fundraising role.
- Detailed knowledge of at least one of the following: trusts and foundations / individual giving / community / corporate fundraising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage and enthuse audiences through a broad range of communications channels.
- Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating events, projects and/or campaigns.
- Leadership experience - this could be in work or elsewhere, with staff, projects, volunteers or communities.
- Project management and organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise and work in a self-directed manner.
- Understanding of LGBTQ+ communities.
- Ability and willingness to help with organisational events such as Pride or conferences several times a year.
- Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with frontline staff, volunteers, service users and partner organisations.

About the role
Peer support roles are specifically for people who have lived experience of mental health problems. Through sharing wisdom from their own experiences, peer support staff will inspire hope and belief that recovery is possible in others. You will work with the Wellbeing Assessors and Team Leads to provide wellbeing support to patients within your particular Primary Care Network (PCN). This part of the Solent Mind Wellbeing Service provides one-to-one wellbeing support within the GP practices, working alongside the wider Primary Mental Health & Wellbeing Service.
Peer support is short-term support given to people who need extra support with the ‘doing’ side in their recovery journey. By using their own experiences to help each other and providing a safe space where people feel accepted and understood, Peer Support Workers encourage participants to identify their own strengths, triggers and life goals and support people to develop and use a range of skills and techniques to help their wellbeing.
This is a part-time role for 22.5 hours per week (over three weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday working across the New Forest PCN (Lymington/Milford-on-Sea/Lyndhurst).
About you
Educated to a minimum of level 2 standard or extensive relevant experience, you will have lived experience of mental health problems and using mental health services. Experience working with people with mental health needs in a paid or voluntary capacity is desirable. You’ll also have excellent team-working skills, including listening, constructive feedback, respect and dignity, and skill-sharing.

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, delivery, and evaluation of Lancashire Youth Challenge's three core programmes: RESTORE, Time to Breathe, and Rise to the Challenge. Room to Heal is an established therapeutic community in London. We support refugees and people seeking asylum, many of whom are torture survivors, through an integrated programme of therapeutic and casework assistance, in the context of a community of survivors. Job Summary
We expect this role to focus on developing and maintaining relationships with key funders, stakeholders, institutions and individuals. It will undertake work to secure funding, resources and partnerships for both Shared Assets and the wider land justice movement, and to raise the profile and reputation of Shared Assets.
The role will have responsibility for securing core funding for Shared Assets from trusts, foundations and high net worth individuals, and for supporting colleagues to secure grant and commercial funding for consultancy, research, movement building and communications projects. It will have responsibility for reporting on core grants and providing quality control for colleagues for their bids, tenders and funder reports. As part of this work the role will play a key part in providing intelligence and foresight to contribute to the organisation’s strategy and business planning.
Beyond securing consistent core funding for Shared Assets the role will also work with funders and others to secure longer term resourcing of the wider land movement in order to deliver our collective ambitions for a just and sustainable land system.
As part of a self managing organisation all team members are expected to contribute to the day to day management of the organisation through participation in management circles, team days and working groups.
Main Responsibilities
Fundraising and resourcing

Develop and maintain relationships with funders to fund work that seeks to support common good land use and to create a more just and sustainable land system.

Work with the team to ensure we maintain a healthy pipeline of bids and tenders in order to meet income generation targets across the organisation.

As a Dementia Adviser, you will provide person-centred and outcomes focused information, advice and support services to people affected by dementia and memory loss symptoms in Derbyshire. In this role, you will:
- Co-ordinate logistics and provide administrative support for our learning, management and leadership programmes across WaterAid, including co-ordinating participant lists and invitations, logistical and travel administration, collation and production of materials, booking meetings, gathering and analysing evaluation data and other associated tasks.
- Provide administration of our learning management system (LMS), including managing users and all other LMS administration including setting up new starters and generating course completion reports.
- Provide administrative support for the pro bono coaching programme.

- Monitor the Learning inbox and respond to and escalate queries as appropriate.

Solent Mind delivers Wellbeing services across Hampshire, including Eastleigh, Winchester, Fareham and Gosport, and the New Forest. This post is based in the New Forest (Hythe and New Milton). The Wellbeing services provide a range of support, including one-to-ones, courses and workshops delivered both within the centres and via digital platforms.
The Senior Wellbeing Advisor will support clients to reach independence and wellbeing through one-to-one assessments, individual sessions and group work, with the aim of enabling people to achieve their goals.

Educated to a minimum of level 2 standard or with extensive relevant experience, you’ll be experienced working with vulnerable people with diverse needs and well-versed in assisting with or delivering courses/group sessions.
