Main Responsibilities:
· To provide direct line management and leadership to a staff team in the locality, including performance management, reflective practice supervision and robust monitoring of service provision.
· To oversee and support the planning, delivery and coordination of Children’s and Family Centre’s Support Services. Involve stakeholders and all staff as far as it is possible in decision-making processes.
· Support the Operational Manager in all aspects of delivery, including the development of
new workstreams and transformational change of the provision and manage strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
· To lead and support safe, reliable, high-quality family support service across the district and integrate with existing provisions to ensure that services are not duplicated and multiagency working is upheld. To ensure communication is established with other services to establish a culture of mutual trust and respect.
· Prioritise referrals, manage work allocations and ensure effective deployment of the workers to ensure service users receive a timely and effective service.
· Ensure all appropriate staff development and core training requirements are fulfilled in the team and contribute to wider training plans for the locality. Foster a culture of continuous development including best practice sharing across teams and districts, involvement in Community of Practice etc.
- Respond appropriately to any safeguarding concerns, demonstrating an understanding of, and always complying with Family Action’s and Gloucestershire procedures for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. To ensure compliance with relevant local and national legislation. Act as a safeguarding Lead for the locality.
- To have an overview of the support needs of all families across the locality and Gloucestershire as a whole, and knowledge of how these are being met in order to influence the direction of service planning.

River Church Ipswich is an HTB Network church plant in the town centre of Ipswich, which launched in September 2021 and has already grown quickly into a thriving resource church, with a congregation of more than 200, and three Sunday services.

- Responsibility for maintenance and development of Resurgo’s website, delivering engaging content with a focus on dynamic visuals and videos, tailored to our different website audiences.

Oversight of Spear Programme Spear
Foundation is a 4-week initial phase, consisting of 2 group sessions and a 1:1 with each trainee per week, in which we coach young people around skills and mindsets to support them in returning to work or education, and equip them with the skills to stay there.
- As a confident communicator, you will lead group sessions of around 10 young people each, using coaching skills to transform attitudes to their own ability and the workplace, and to raise their awareness and maximise potential in stepping into the world of work.
- Prepare and coach group and 1-1 sessions with the Spear Assistant Coach.
- Ensure the programme is delivered in line with agreed targets, and report KPIs on recruitment, retention and completion of Spear Trainees to Resurgo and the Spear Trust, as well as their ongoing progress and sustainment of work or education
Line management and training
- Manage the Assistant Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development.
- Be line managed by River Church staff, locally, and by Resurgo, nationally, to support with the set-up and ongoing operations of the centre and report back on KPI.
Supporting River Church’s mission and ministry
- You will be required to establish strong relationships with key people at the church to ensure the engagement and backing of church members, and help the Assistant coaches to establish a strong presence at the church to build a network of supporters for the Spear programme.
- Ensuring the Spear programme is a key missional feature of the work of the church
- Work with the Head of Operations and Fundraising Assistant to prepare successful grant funding applications for Spear Ipswich, and provide timely grant reporting.
- Attend and participate in Staff Meeting, Tuesday morning Prayer Meeting, and Sunday Services (serving on a team at one or more Sunday service) • Regularly pray for Spear, River Church, and in particular our Social Transformation work.

The NSPCC’s purpose is to prevent child abuse and neglect of children across the UK and Channel Islands. The NSPCC is delivering our Letting the Future In service within The Lighthouse in Camden, the UK’s first Child House. This multi-disciplinary innovative service provides physical and emotional health assessment, criminal justice and advocacy support and a range of therapeutic interventions to children and young people, following the disclosure of sexual abuse.

We are now looking for a motivated and efficient Project Manager to oversee our established outreach service in South Camden, which provides support to adults with mild-moderate learning disabilities and a range of other needs, including mental health and complex health needs.
The role will include coordinating and providing excellent person-centred care and support to service users, to enable people to live independently in their own home and be supported in all areas of day-to-day living. You will also oversee the development and implementation of care plans designed to provide meaningful choice and a range of activities and support to people with learning disabilities.
You will be involved in developing and implementing a range of creative and innovative new activity groups focusing on social interaction, learning and general wellbeing for service users with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and reducing reliance on 1:1 support.
The ideal candidate will have experience of leading and coaching a team supporting people with learning disabilities or another vulnerable client group. Experience of supporting people with high and complex support needs would be an advantage. This is a vacancy for an established but growing Corporate and Community Fundraiser role in a Berkshire based charity, generating funds from local businesses and community groups, events and individuals.
Camp Mohawk is a local but widely known and highly respected organisation, providing support services to children and young people with special needs and their families from our beautiful woodland site in rural East Berkshire. Camp Mohawk supports over 700 families from across the South / South East region, seeing over 17,000 visitors each year.
Many of our families and young people find it extremely difficult to access public play and leisure facilities, and the challenges they face with day-to-day life means that they are at significant risk of social isolation and deteriorating mental and physical health. Recent studies have found that families who have a child with special needs are experiencing significant pressure on their family finances, over and above those being experienced by the general population. We have a vacancy for a dynamic, driven and experienced individual to join our small fundraising team, focussing on generating income from corporate and community sources and working closely with our Grants and Trusts Fundraiser. The successful applicant will be a superb communicator, with proven presentation and / or public speaking experience, allowing them to engage and enthuse diverse audiences of all ages. They will possess the skills and confidence to create and deliver persuasive presentations, write press releases, produce posters, leaflets and other written communications, and maintain and build our social media following on a variety of platforms. Experience of planning and co-ordinating events and/or fundraising challenges, managing teams of volunteers and making pro-active approaches is desirable. They will possess good IT skills and will have a good understanding of financial reporting.
Working primarily from home or remotely (due to space limitations in our small office!), they will be highly self-motivated, driven and possess exceptional organisational skills. The role involves frequent travel locally for the purpose of visiting current and new contacts in the community and attending events, therefore the successful candidate will live locally and will need their own transport. Working hours can be flexible but the ability to work at occasional breakfast, evening and weekend events is essential.

Overall Purpose
- To provide support and care to young people who are newly arrived in the country, providing the foundations for them to rebuild their strength, dignity and grow their hope for their futures.
- To partner with social workers and representatives from other agencies, for the benefit of the young people.

- To be a key worker for a number of young people who are in the care of Baca, providing high quality holistic and therapeutic support for their transition to adulthood.

Baca is looking for a Support Worker who can join the support team and provide support, care and be a role model for young people who are newly arrived refugees and victims of trafficking aged 16 to 18. Bank Support Workers have the ability to accept any shifts available on an ad-hoc basis across from all of Look Ahead's specialisms including Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Homelessness and Young People. Bank Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices. Within Learning Disability services, this will include providing physical, domestic, emotional and social care. Within Mental Health and Homelessness services they will enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package. While carrying out activities, Bank Support Workers should deal with all customers, visitors and staff in a professional and appropriate manner and report to Look Ahead staff and management any observations relating to customers' welfare.
