We are looking for someone t to join the Bristol Women’s Pathway (*women only) as a Project Worker. The service provide specialist safe spaces from abuse, exploitation or Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).
In this role you will work across the Women’s Pathway in 3 semi-independent projects. Working as part of a dedicated team to provide a safe, high quality, positive and inclusive service to clients; by working with people to identify their personal aims and ambitions and providing practical and personal support in an approachable, caring, and person-centred way. You will work independently at times and be comfortable as a lone worker.
In this role you will work on a shift rota Monday – Friday 9am-5pm. In some of these role’s staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm and 8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

Join the team at Castle Service in Cambridge, a dispersed supported housing provider supporting 14 young people aged 16 ‐25 years old who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The service operates on a hybrid working model which can include home working, remote working within the community or working from our office base. You will have the autonomy to manage your case load and working arrangements where they support the operational objectives of the Service.
In this varied and challenging role, you will work with young people to set goals to develop their confidence and internal resources and help them to move on from temporary services to permanent accommodation at the earliest opportunity. Another key aspect of this role is accommodation management which will see you support the service users to ensure the accommodation is Health and Safety compliant, well kept, clean and tidy.
You have experience of engaging or working with young people as well as the ability to work autonomously. You will be independent with a positive, can‐do attitude and keen to break down the stigma of homelessness and mental health.
Access to a car would be desirable due to the need to travel between the four supported houses.

On 1st June 2024, Richmond Fellowship, part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence merged with Humankind to form a single organisation that provides the joined-up mental health, housing and drug and alcohol support we’ve all known has been needed for decades. In October 2024, Humankind was renamed Waythrough to reflect the new organisation.

Seeking a dynamic storyteller to amplify our message and drive engagement as our new Communications Manager.

Chance for Childhood believes that no child should have to fight for a safe, happy childhood.We exist to ensure that every child in Africa can thrive from their early years through to adulthood. Together with partners, supporters, children, and their communities, we protect, educate and create lasting change for every child threatened by violence, neglect and conflict.
We work in five African countries (Ghana, the DRC, Rwanda, Kenya and Uganda) and we are carving out a niche as experts in inclusive education and safe spaces for children facing multiple complex vulnerabilities. In 2022, we launched the #OverExposed campaign to advocate for ethical imagery and storytelling in the fundraising and marketing materials of international development charities.
Your role:
As the Communications Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the charity’s communications strategy to raise awareness, increase engagement, and grow support for our vital work. You will manage all external communications across multiple platforms, including social media, website, email marketing, and events, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand voice. You will work closely with the Individual Giving Manager and Challenge Events Officer to drive impactful campaigns. Additionally, you will play an essential role in promoting and protecting the charity's brand.

WECIL are run by and for Deaf and Disabled people and we are looking for someone who is motivated and passionate, someone with strong personal values and has excellent business administration skills with a strong desire to make a difference to people’s lives for the better and join the Disability rights movement. Experience working in any aspect of Social Care is an advantage, but not essential. The role offers incredible job satisfaction, flexible working, excellent holiday entitlement and opportunities to develop as part of a systems thinking team.
