The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day to day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front line staff. You will lead and develop competence of direct reports as well as carry caseloads of customers requiring support. You will work closely with the contract manager to ensure that the service delivers on all targets, both financial and those around the quality of the service.

What you'll do:

Lead and motivate your team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service
Deliver effective supervision and team meetings with staff and ensure that information, reporting and communication
Responsible for the personal development of staff, identifying high performers and feeding into the organisations succession plans
Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) required as part of the Contract are met and recorded correctly
Develop key business relationships with all appropriate relevant customers/external parties to ensure service delivery excellence and maximise new business opportunities in own patch
Participate in and monitor the initial and continuous assessment of needs and ensure that support planning is carried out in line with assessed needs of the customer
Carry out other administrative tasks as relevant to the service and directed by the Contract/Heads of Operations
Deliver an out of hours on-call service for region, where required
Ensure that all safeguarding cases are managed in line with safeguarding protocols and are reported to Contract Manager/Head of Operations, as appropriate
Ensure Look Ahead Health and Safety policies are adhered to at all times and to uphold all health and safety responsibilities within relevant policies and local protocols
Adhere to all the policies and procedures of Look Ahead Care, Support & Housing plus those specific to the project including any statutory requirements

About this key role

Our successful candidate will monitor and manage the receipt of referrals from Probation through the Customer Approved System (CAS) ensuring they are successfully assigned to Personal Wellbeing Coaches using the appropriate guidance and process, ensure all inputting is accurate and within agreed timescales, plus provide regular activity reports to the Personal Wellbeing Manager.  You will be the primary point of contact for all enquiries, external and internal to ensure communication channels are clear and effective, while also liaising with external stakeholders (e.g. Prisons), delivery partners, spot purchase providers and other agencies to arrange appointments, referrals, and generally ensure information exchanged is done in a clear, timely and effective manner.

Developing and maintaining an Estates log and diary to ensure the team always have an approved site to meet service users in mandated locations when needed and providing administration for meetings, including bookings, invitations and minute-taking, are also vital duties.

What we are looking for

• Experience of managing Customer Relationship Management systems, including inputting data and creating reports
• An understanding of the barriers faced by people with complex and multiple needs
• Knowledge of Trauma Informed practice and how to apply it in supporting service users
• Ability to develop and maintain means by which compliance with policy and procedure can be effectively monitored and reported on, including financial expenditure
• Impressive prioritisation relationship-building and interpersonal abilities
• First-class communication skills, both verbal and written
• A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work

Dad Matters is a PAIR (Parent and Infant Relationship) project specifically for Dads during the peri-natal period (conception to a child’s 2nd birthday). Primarily the project aims to raise awareness amongst dads, the wider community, and other professionals of the importance of:

• Fully involving and valuing fathers in the pregnancy and early parenthood journey
• Supporting healthy mental well-being of fathers
• Encouraging fathers to be attuned and responsive to their unborn and young baby’s needs, thus fostering healthy and positive attachment.

Home-Start Manchester already has a robust Dad Matters project offer running across the city as well as the ‘Universal offer’.

This role aims to widen the projects impact by reaching more Dads This will involve increasing participation in classes and events and delivering 1-1 support to dads referred into the service. The role will be supported by and be part of the wider Dad Matters team as well as being part of Home-Start Manchester. As Complex Needs Community Keyworker you will provide one-to-one support to women on Probation living in the community, and women being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision. You’ll provide focused support in identifying their needs and empowering them to access appropriate services in the community. You will also provide some in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support prior to women being released from prison.

You will manage a caseload of women with complex needs who are facing housing issues and provide them with advice, guidance and support that helps them connect with other support services in the community that can assist them to overcome barriers when securing safe and appropriate housing.

The role involves a significant amount of data recording and updating case management systems so you need to be prepared to spend a minimum of 35% of your working hours on this aspect and will need to manage your time effectively to meet the data management requirements. This is also a predominantly independent role, so you will need to be confident to make decisions and able to manage your own workload.

You will be employed by One Small Thing but will be part of a wider team of Community Keyworkers employed by our partner Advance. You will also have a desk space at Hope Street, Southampton, to facilitate close working with the rest of the Hope Street team.

As Development Officer, the main part of the role will involve assisting the new Business Manager with appraisal of development opportunities across ISHA’s core and key working boroughs to meet the organisations business development growth. This will comprise review of potential projects and communication with multiple agencies to include Landowners, Estate Agents, and developers as well as internal and external stakeholders like local authorities plus our regulator and funding body, the Greater London Authority. The role also requires working closely with the development team both Delivery and Sales to the agreed development programme to achieve handover and completion.

In addition to the above, there are other aspects of the role you will be required to undertake and involve reporting and monitoring of defects and latent defects across our projects to ensure these are resolved to a satisfactory conclusion and outcome, whilst ensuring excellent customer services are delivered in line with ISHA’s core values. Key Responsibilities:

Service Development:

· Conduct market research to identify potential income-generating services.

· Develop business plans and operationalise new services.

· Collaborate with stakeholders in Herefordshire, Worcester, and Malvern Hills to identify service gaps and establish best practice delivery models.

· Partner with the marketing team to create strategies for promoting new services.

Service Delivery:

· Work alongside the management team to execute the organisation’s strategic plan and deliver services aligned with core objectives.

· Implement detailed planning, monitoring, evaluation tools, and KPIs for each service or project.

· Manage financial aspects, including budgeting and monitoring of income and expenditure, in collaboration with the Finance Manager.

· Lead and develop a team of staff and volunteers to provide high-quality, person-centered services.

· Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to operating procedures.

Team Management:

 As a member of the senior management team, you will lead and develop a team of staff and volunteers to deliver a portfolio of high-quality, person-centred services. Your role will involve:

· Conducting team meetings, supervisions, and managing performance issues in partnership with the HR Manager.

· Fostering relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, commissioners, and local partners.

· Developing referral pathways and enhancing the organisation’s profile.

Contract and Grant Management:

· Oversee contracts and grants, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.

· Identify risks to service delivery and take corrective actions.

· Work with the SMT and CEO to develop tenders and bids for funding
