We are seeking a Sex Worker Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (SWISVA) to provide appropriate emotional and practical 1-to-1 support to people involved in sex work, who often experience stigma and face barriers to accessing services. Working within a specialist sexual violence approach, you will be enabling people to access support and navigate services, including those directly related to sexual violence. You will support them to navigate criminal justice processes if they wish to do so. You will be working in partnership with other agencies and making appropriate referrals for people to access other services to support their wider needs. You will play a key role in advocating for improved responses to sexual violence, including pathways through the criminal justice processes.
The post is part of a unique partnership between National Ugly Mugs, Basis Yorkshire and POW (Nottingham) to ensure more specialist support for sex workers who have experienced sexual violence, to develop good practice guidelines, develop and share learning, and to influence change in provisions for sex workers. Each organisation will be employing a SWISVA; the program will be led by a Program Coordinator who will be based with Basis Yorkshire, and who will lead on influencing of policy and sharing of learning to improve outcomes for sex workers who have experienced sexual violence

We are looking for a new Independent Sexual Violence Advisor to join our team in providing advocacy and support to survivors of rape/sexual violence and sexual abuse.The ISVA will be based in our central Reading office, with the option of hybrid working. ISVAs will need to travel within Thames Valley to meet clients as required.
Main Purpose of the Role:
To provide advocacy and support to survivors of sexual violence. The ISVA will support adults who have reported or are wishing to report this crime navigate the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work closely with the Police Service, Sexual Assault Referral Centre, CPS, and other relevant organisations.
ISVA Main Duties
· Provide advice, guidance and information to adults who have experienced rape and sexual abuse.
· Support service users that have been referred to Trust House Reading.
· Support clients in making informed choices about their future options.
· Explain relevant criminal, legal and civil remedies and housing options to clients as required.
· Assess the risk and support needs of clients.
· Develop individual support plans to address risks /support needs of clients.
· Ensure that clients are aware of the services to which they are entitled and advocate for them to help them access services.
· Understand the legal framework relating to the protection of children and vulnerable adults including the policy and procedures in relation to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
· Support ISVA clients through the criminal justice system, explaining the procedures and their role and rights within that system, referring to Victim Support or the Witness Care Service as appropriate.
· Support the service user in making a witness statement and attending court.
· Keep the service user informed about case progress on behalf of the police in line with the requirements of the Service Code of Practice.
· Participate in case conferences with the police, CPS and prosecuting barrister.
· Assist clients accessing special measures.
· Liaise with the police, CPS and other service providers on behalf of the service user.
· Provide information and support in relation to Criminal Injuries Compensation.
· Help clients to develop their own support network.
· Refer on and arrange meetings with other agencies/services as necessary, for instance, sexual health services, mental health, drug and alcohol, counselling, housing etc.
· Actively and positively engage with other voluntary sector agencies, including sexual violence specialist agencies e.g. domestic violence service outreach, IDVA and refuge providers.
· Maintain and update records of all cases including initial referral, risk assessment, subsequent risk assessment, care and safety plans, and action taken.
· To understand and assess other support needs of clients, for example translation or interpretation needs and be fully aware of available resources.
· Where an assault is related to domestic violence and the client is assessed as high risk, refer on to Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) following locally agreed protocols (including working proactively with the Independent Domestic Violence Advisor Service), attend and participate in meetings and follow-up on actions agreed in MARAC.
· Contribute to the development of policies, protocols, guidelines, strategies within practice area if necessary.
· Collate areas of service gap and service inadequacy to feed back to the commissioner and the relevant strategic groups.
· Note and feed back to the commissioner and the relevant strategic groups or other appropriate body any consistent difficulties clients are having accessing services.

RASASC is a registered charity which has been providing support to survivors of rape and sexual abuse of all genders (both recent and non-recent) and young people aged over 13, from across Surrey since 1992.
We provide an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Service. ISVAs support survivors to help them overcome the abuse they have suffered and to rebuild their lives. This service also includes supporting the survivor to seek justice through the judicial system, should the survivor wish.
We also provide one-to-one counselling, group work, youth counselling and a family support programme, and a national Telephone Helpline.
Volunteers are an important part of the work we do. Volunteers staff our Helpline and many of our qualified counsellors work on a voluntary basis with survivors of rape and sexual abuse.
ISVA
ISVAs are survivor-focused advocates, who support survivors of recent and non-recent rape and sexual abuse to enable them to access the services they need in the aftermath of the abuse they have experienced. An ISVA provides individual support and this will vary from client to client.
This role is based at the RASASC Guildford office and will work across Surrey. The ISVA must have a full driving licence and use of a car that can be used for work purposes.
You will be part of a dedicated, experienced, and friendly team consisting of Eleven ISVAs. The ISVAs meet fortnightly for peer support and work collaboratively with each other to share knowledge. Each ISVA has a lead area of responsibility in addition to your caseload supporting a range of clients.
You will be provided with monthly clinical supervision and attend monthly one-to-one meetings with the ISVA team leader.
Job Description
- To support survivors of rape and sexual abuse.
- It is the responsibility of the ISVA to impartially advise the client on all options open to them, such as the Criminal Justice System, SARC, GUM clinic and other local services.
- The ISVAs are expected to balance a caseload that includes survivors progressing through the criminal justice process as well as survivors that have decided not to report, or who are no longer in the criminal justice process.
- The ISVA will be based at Guildford RASASC but will be expected to travel throughout Surrey.
- The ISVA is expected to carry out other duties from time to time which are broadly consistent with those in this document, as the job description cannot cover every issue which may arise within the post.
Key Tasks
· The ISVA will provide a survivor-focused, independent service, distinct from the role of a crisis worker or counsellor.
· Undertake risk assessment and support needs analysis with survivor and develop a support plan for the survivor.
· To provide advice and support across a wide range of issues, such as housing, health and education, that will help to support the survivor and ensure their ongoing safety in the aftermath of the abuse.
· Manage caseload and maintain necessary case files and records including monitoring information as required under funding conditions and by RASASC.
· To provide expert advice and support in relation to issues and the impact of rape and sexual abuse on this client group to other members of the ISVA team as well as the wider RASASC team.
The ISVA will be required to undertake accredited training specifically designed to support them in delivering this service. This training is delivered virtually and is over six modules. Each module is taught over two consecutive days to minimise the amount of time ISVAs are away.

We are looking for 2 Mental Health Personal Independence Co-ordinator’s to join our team.
The Mental Health Personal Independence Co-ordinator (MHPIC) will work as part of the MHPIC team and will work alongside clinical and social care professionals in local multi-disciplinary teams assigned to specific GP surgeries. Each MHPIC will be assigned to a specific locality located within the Integrated Care Network Plus health and social care systems in either North, Central or South Croydon. The multi-disciplinary team learning and development during the initial two-year test period will inform the development and growth of the MHPIC team to ensure that it can support community-based mental health and wellbeing across the whole population and in all 6 Integrated Care Network Plus localities.
MHPICs will provide initial contact and assessment conversations with clients using Open Dialogue tools and techniques to enable people to develop their own Personal Recovery Plans and supporting them directly over a period of time to find and access the support and services available to them in their local community.
Each MHPIC will be the direct named key worker for a set number of people who are referred to the service by healthcare professionals, including GPs, Mental Health Practitioners & Health Care Assistants, Social Prescribers and other voluntary or community sector organisations. They will provide one-to-one support in the achievement of an individual’s recovery goals, ensuring that support is person- centred; that needs and wishes are identified by people themselves; that they have a stronger voice in relation to issues that affect their lives; and that they are supported and empowered to improve and/or maintain their mental health and wellbeing and to live their best independent lives.
Support in the community includes home visits. The aim of home visits is to assess clients' strengths and needs and link these to agency and community resources, and to ensure that individual clients’ needs can be met within a risk-assessed policy approach.

We have an opportunity available in the team at MASH for an Outreach Worker specifically focused on supporting women who live in Salford. This role is part time at 21 hours per week and will include one night-time outreach shift per week on the MASH van.

They will develop professional networks in Salford to share intelligence, cascade information about the support MASH can offer and provide joint support to women.

At an exciting time of growth, AmplifyChange is seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious Grants Compliance Officer.
This role is key to delivering funds to our Grantee Partners and involves working on the financial management of our grants as a member of our Grants Compliance Team. The team is responsible for ensuring that funds under our management reach our Grantee Partners and are used for their intended purpose. In doing this, the team supports with due diligence assessments on all prospective Grantee Partners, analyses the financial reporting and forecasts of Grantee Partners, and works to prevent and investigate fraud across the portfolio. The team also oversees the proper implementation of the recommendations raised at the due diligence stage and contributes to the strengthening of our Grantee Partners’ internal processes and controls.
AmplifyChange is a bi-lingual fund so fluency in French is essential as the postholder will support our grantees, who are based across Africa, South Asia and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
This is a very rewarding role where the successful candidate will work closely with the grants support team, as well as the Grantee Partners themselves. The role will provide support to the Grants Compliance Manager and will be responsible for leading on the financial management of a portfolio of grants.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work closely with the Grants Compliance Manager, the Finance team, the Grant Support Teams, the Operations Team and the Learning, Monitoring and Evaluation Team while completing a broad range of compliance related tasks.
As part of this role, you will:
- Support the Grants Compliance Manager with financial eligibility criteria checks on prospective Grantee Partners.
- Support on due diligence assessments where necessary.
- Review and approve budgets submitted by Grantee Partners.
- Review and approve documentation provided by the Grantee Partner in relation with the recommendations raised at due diligence stage.
- Conduct regular financial management checks on grantee partners including the verification of financial reports submitted by grantee partners every 3 or 6 months against budgeted workplans.
- Carry out quarterly expenditure verification of grants to ensure adherence to agreed standards and identify instances of fraud.
- Carry out reviews of audited financial statements as well as project audit reports submitted by the Grantee Partners.
- Provide technical support for the Grant Support and Operations Teams, acting as the first point of contact for all financial management related issues arising on assigned grants, particularly ensuring budget templates and financial reporting processes are understood and adhered to.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the Grantee Partners directly by acting as the first point of contact for all financial and compliance related issues.
- Where appropriate, conduct on-site monitoring visits with our Grantee Partners or participate in in-country convenings as the AmplifyChange compliance representative.
- Provide support to our online grantee community in the Circle platform.
- Contribute to the further development of our business processes and the grants compliance systems by sharing feedback and suggestions with relevant colleagues.
- Any other duties as reasonably required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
The ideal candidate will be someone who is enthusiastic and conscientious, with excellent attention to detail. A warm and polite approach is important, as the role will involve frequent interaction with various stakeholders including Grantee Partners and colleagues. You will be responsible for the compliance processes for your own grant portfolio and ensuring the smooth running of the grant compliance processes related to this portfolio.
You will bring a calm, confident, capable demeanour to this role, with a clear emphasis on collegiate working. You will successfully engage remotely and in-person with our colleagues, external consultants, Grantee Partners and other stakeholders. WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
