Who you are
You are committed and resilient, with the expertise and knowledge to work alongside Young Londoners who have engaged in concerning and harmful sexual behaviour and are able to develop the service to meet required needs. Within your role as an Expert Development and Delivery caseworker, you will provide support to young Londoners to secure the safety and positive outcomes they want.
What the role involves
In this role, you will work alongside children and young people who have been exposed to or have engaged in harmful sexual behaviour. Within your role as an Expert Development and Delivery caseworker, you will provide one to one support to young Londoners, as well as develop the service with a focus on making it accessible and meet the needs of girls and young women and young Londoners who are neurodiverse. You will also be required to share your knowledge and expertise with colleagues. You will be expected to provide robust risk and needs assessments that reflect the contexts within which harm has occurred, and to work collaboratively with partnership agencies to reduce risk and secure services and support.

- Advocate for special measures and attend pre-trial visits and CPS meetings as required.
- Support the client, if they do not wish to report to the police, with understanding their options and helping them to provide intelligence to the police if they choose, as well as then supporting them to get any other help they may need.
- To identify and respond, as appropriate, to issues relating to safeguarding, child protection and Protection of Vulnerable Adults (POVA)
- To work within a multi-agency framework, representing the needs of clients and promoting New Pathways as appropriate.

The Care Navigation and Case Worker Lead is integral to this aim and is key to improving the health and wellbeing of the communities we serve ensuing they receive the appropriate services at the right time.

About the role
The post-holder will deliver a high-quality counselling service to survivors and victims of domestic and sexual violence (aged 18+) that is trauma-informed, ethical and supports key outcomes. Supporting the Lead Counsellor and the wider counselling team to develop and maintain a safe, professional and accessible service.
Managing a caseload of clients accessing short to medium term counselling, providing face to face, telephone and online counselling sessions. Where clients are engaged with the criminal justice system ensuring that they are working to Pre-Trail Therapy guidance.
The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities. The post holder will work within a multi-agency setting and communicate regularly with other agencies.
This role description cannot cover every eventuality or task that may arise within this position and the post holder will be expected to carry out other duties from time to time which are broadly consistent with the role.
Tasks and responsibilities
1. CLINICAL
· Assess and support people impacted by abuse and violence in need of therapy by delivering interventions as appropriate and supporting them in the self-management of their recovery.
· Undertake clinical assessments and make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the service referral protocols, refering unsuitable clients on to the relevant appropriate services or back to the referral agent as necessary, ensuring open communication with the individual throughout.
· Deliver trauma-informed short term counselling over a 8-10 week period with individuals.
· Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service.
· Ensure that records of all activity are kept up to date for all clients in line with service protocols, best practice and the requirements of relevant statutory agencies records, including using OASIS case management system to report all support activity and monitoring information as required.
· Work closely with other members of the team ensuring onward referrals, or escalations are managed appropriately.
· Assess and integrate issues impacting recovery into therapy to support the individual holistically.
· To attend regular line management, monthly clinical supervision and participate in team meetings and peer review, to ensure safe practice.
· Escalate and safeguard risk where appropriate and respond accordingly and appropriately in relation to the ‘do no harm principal’. This may include referrals to Children Social Care, MARAC or Adults social care as appropriate. Seek advice from a Senior Service Manager in the first instance to consider and support appropriate steps.
· Contribute to the development of service policies, protocols, guidelines and strategies within area of practice as necessary.
· Coordinate and accommodate multiagency working, sharing information pertaining to risk at all times, and with a view to best support the individual throughout their journey, ensuring they are fully informed throughout.
2. PROFESSIONAL
· Ensure the maintenance of standards of practice according to the employer and any regulating counselling bodies (i.e. BACP, UKCP, NCPS) and keep up to date on new recommendations/guidelines set by the department of health (e.g. National Institute for Clinical Excellence, RESPECT).
· Ensure that client confidentiality is protected and advocated for at all times.
· Ensure clear objectives are identified, discussed and reviewed with manager on a regular basis as part of continuing professional development.
· Participate in individual performance review and respond to agreed objectives.
· Attend relevant conferences /workshops in line with identified professional objectives.
· To support, promote and work in accordance with Pathway Project’s aims and objectives.

We are seeking an experienced evidence (systematic) reviewer to support the development of clinical guidelines, guidance statements, national audit and new product reviews, as well as supporting the wider membership and Faculty officers in responding to evidence and research enquiries. Part of the role will be to help establish the technical team and providing advice on appropriate methods and processes for the programme of work.
As part of the CEU team the postholder will work closely with the Clinical Director for the CEU, CEU team, clinical fellows, FSRH Clinical Quality Committees and senior faculty officers as well as national and international clinical experts involved in the field of sexual and reproductive healthcare. Key duties will include identifying and appraising relevant evidence using established systematic review methods and developing structured evidence summaries across a range of products. The postholder will also support the development of methods and new ways of working in conjunction with other members of the team.

The Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH) is the leader in the field of sexual and reproductive healthcare, and we are the voice for professionals working in this area. As a multi-disciplinary professional membership organisation, we set clinical guidance and standards, provide training and lifelong education, and champion safe and effective sexual and reproductive healthcare across the life course for all.
The Clinical Effectiveness Unit (CEU) at the FSRH develops a range of evidenced-based clinical guidance documents including clinical guidelines, statements and new product reviews as well as associated activities such as national benchmarking audits and responding to member evidence enquiries. The CEU is part of the wider Clinical Quality programme overseen by the Director for Clinical Quality who manages this role.
The role:
1. Analytical and technical:
Responsible for developing a range of literature reviews (scoping, umbrella, and systematic reviews) for clinical guidelines and guidance in accordance with FSRH processes and established evidence synthesis methodologies. This includes:
- Contributing to the development of scopes,
- Developing review questions and protocols,
- Systematic searching and identification of relevant evidence,
- Full quality assessment of evidence including application of GRADE framework
- Synthesising, collating and summarising quantitative and qualitative evidence
- Summarising and presenting evidence to guideline committees (GDG)
- Preparing written summaries of the evidence / GDG discussions as part of the guideline, guidance statements, evidence enquiries or new product reviews
- Collaborating closely with the Clinical Director, Clinical Fellows and GDG to write the guideline and guidance in line with FSRH approach
- Preparing technical responses to comments received during consultation or peer review of guidelines and guidance

Global Health 50/50 (GH5050) is an independent, evidence-driven initiative to advance action and accountability for gender equality. GH5050 was formed around a unique model which brings together the rigour of academic research, the knowledge of how policy change can occur and the momentum of advocates and communicators to catalyse progress on gender equality. GH5050’s mission is ‘To improve health, well-being, and social justice through the promotion of human rights, particularly in relation to gender equality, by conducting research, disseminating the useful results of such research, and providing information, advice and advocacy.’ Established in 2017, GH5050 is a non-profit organisation (as a UK registered charity) headquartered in Cambridge, UK, that initially focussed on the health sector and is increasingly active in the justice and finance systems, globally and at country level.
Context
Through our flagship annual report and Gender and Health Index, GH5050 provides the only bird’s-eye view of gender, inclusion and equality in the global health sector today. Role Summary
GH5050 is looking for a mixed-methods researcher with excellent statistical analysis skills, experience in gender analysis, and proven ability to communicate complex results. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of the world’s leading research and accountability initiatives for gender equality. You will join a small and growing team of staff working at GH5050. We are looking for a motivated, proactive, dynamic, collaborative and meticulously detail-oriented individual to join our team and work across our thematic workstreams on health, justice and economics.
The programmatic priorities of this role in Year 1 include supporting the processes of research, data collection, cleaning, validation and analysis of the following projects: 1) Disability inclusion, gender and health report, 2) Gendered Health Pathways data visualisation tool, 3) 2025 annual health sector report, 4) inaugural global justice 50/50 report. It is expected that over the course of Year 1, approximately 70% of this role will be dedicated to the health sector data and research and 30% to the justice sector. In Year 2 of the role, data and research support in the new economics and finance sector will be required.
Responsibilities:

Conduct mixed-methods research at the intersection of global health, global justice, global economics/finance, career leadership, and gender justice in support of GH5050 annual and thematic reports, projects and activities as required. This may include literature reviews, scoping reviews, data collection and evidence mapping, or other research tasks as required.
