Purpose of the job/About the role
Join the People team as a Learning and Development Assistant and play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative support to our Learning and Development team. You will provide a customer-focused service, ensuring the smooth running of our learning and development initiatives.
Working closely with the Learning and Development Manager and the wider team, you will help support the ongoing learning, development, and talent management processes at Dementia UK. Your role will include liaising with suppliers to schedule training sessions as part of our Learning Programme, as directed by the Learning and Development Manager. You will also monitor the Learning inbox, ensuring timely responses to queries. You’ll manage the learning request form, ensuring staff are enrolled in Learning Programme courses and escalating external requests to the Learning and Development Manager when necessary.
In addition, you will assist with the onboarding of new starters by setting them up on our learning platforms, such as LinkedIn Learning and iHasco. You will also support key policies and processes related to performance and feedback, including appraisals, 360 feedback, and our recognition scheme. This involves responding to first-line queries and escalating them where appropriate, as well as supporting the delivery of 360 feedback processes and our quarterly recognition awards.
To succeed in this role, you will possess exceptional customer service skills and have a strong understanding of meeting customer needs within a structured policy framework. You should have experience working with Microsoft Office 365 applications and ideally have prior experience working within a busy UK-based L&D, People, or HR team. Charity experience, as well as holding or working towards a CIPD qualification is a plus.

The Holocaust Educational Trust (HET) is a registered charity working with schools, colleges and communities across the country to raise awareness about the Holocaust and its relevance today.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Education and Production Officer to join our team based in Central London. After several years of research and development, we have recently launched Testimony 360, a brand-new digital programme for UK secondary schools that uses interactive survivor testimony and virtual reality to innovatively teach about the Holocaust. Through the programme, students can have a personal and conversational experience with a recording of a Holocaust survivor before seeing some of the sites they experienced for themselves using virtual reality headsets, all without leaving their classroom.
The successful candidate will serve as a member of the Trust’s Testimony 360 Team, responsible for the digital post-production and testing of interactive recorded testimony to ensure its fluency and usability in the classroom. We are looking for an individual with confident IT skills and the ability to quickly learn how to use new technologies and programmes. As an expert in Holocaust education, you will also contribute to the successful delivery of our Testimony 360 programme through weekly in-person school visits during term time or as required.
Responsibilities
Post-Production, interactive survivor testimony
· Lead on the development (post-production) of interactive testimony, including clipping, annotation, data/metadata input, and Alpha/Beta testing. Throughout testing, leading the training process which ensures the system’s accuracy.
· Maintain regular contact with our partner organisation, the USC Shoah Foundation, including progress updates, shared learning, required training.
· Support colleagues undertaking training and/or working on supportive post-production.
· Logging activity and decisions regarding the post-production editing process, as discussed with members of the Testimony 360 team and/or USC Shoah Foundation.
· Organise and deliver Alpha and Beta testing stages, working directly with students both online and in-person to deliver test sessions and action necessary follow up (to ensure learning from test sessions is fed back).
Delivery
· Contribute to delivery of Testimony 360 through regular, in-person school delivery as part of the wider team, ensuring that the programme is delivered through a robust pedagogical approach. Expected to deliver Testimony 360 one every two weeks throughout term time.
· Plan and deliver Beta testing sessions as part of the development of the interactive testimonies, sharing knowledge and expertise with other Education Officers supporting in this delivery.
· The successful applicant may also be expected to deliver educational sessions to students, teachers and our young Ambassadors outside the Testimony 360 programme and throughout the year. In-person sessions will take place in the UK and sometimes abroad.
General
· We expect all members of the Education team to share their learnings and expertise both internally and externally. This role will require discussions about our learnings from Testimony 360 with the wider Education team, and we encourage consideration for how these learnings might feed into our wider educational offer.
· As an educational charity, we must ensure that education about the Holocaust is the core of all work. To this end, members of the Education Team are responsible for supporting the wider teams as they develop, plan and deliver on broader public engagement, fundraising, and awareness-raising initiatives.

Job Purpose
· To manage the delivery of Young Marketeers in Coventry in four primary schools
Background to School Food Matters
School Food Matters (SFM) exists to teach children about food and to improve children’s access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. We provide fully funded food education programmes to schools. Our experience delivering these programmes informs and strengthens our campaigns, bringing the voices of children, parents and teachers to government policy.
Young Marketeers
This much-loved programme was started in London in 2012. It is now running in 12 cities across England and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund for three years. The programme provides hands-on opportunities for children from primary schools to grow fruit and veg from seed to sell at their local market. Young Marketeers is also a platform for School Food Matters to promote food education to schools and communities as a way to support children to live happy and healthy lives. Children learn the art of growing veg from seed, and market traders will share their secrets on how to create a winning market stall. Primary schools will be visited by our gardener in March/April and then again in May/June and receive further tips on how to ensure a bumper crop. And in July, they head to the market to sell their produce, and to meet the mayor!
Key Tasks include:
· Recruit four schools to take part in Young Marketeers
· Build and maintain relationships with teachers, teaching assistants and senior leaders to ensure the smooth running of the project

We are searching for a Peer Support Worker to join our mental health services. The role is a peer support worker, who use own lived experience of mental health difficulties to support others on their recovery journey through the facilitation of group based, peer support.
Our peer support and recovery services are a key element of the services we offer, and we are looking for someone who can use their own lived experiences to provide support to help individuals achieve their goals.
Service Delivery
- Facilitate Peer Support groups and ensure outcomes which support individuals
- with mental health and wellbeing needs across Luton in line with Mind BLMK’s agreed peer support model and service’s KPIs and contract requirements.
- To support the Service Manager, when required, by assessing individual’s suitability for attending the peer support service in the line with the organisations Access to Services process.

About the Role:
The Sanitation Senior Advisor is a senior position in the WASH Technical Effectiveness team, reporting to the Sanitation Lead. Together with the Sanitation Lead, the Senior Advisor co-leads the delivery of core team responsibilities regarding the thematic areas of sanitation and other closely associated topics. Applying a people-centred, systems strengthening approach to WASH, she/he provides high quality specialist technical analysis, advisory, and support services to the design, inception, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and/or assessments of WaterAid’s programming worldwide, at both strategic and operational levels.
In collaboration with country, regional and global colleagues, she/he co-leads the facilitation of effective learning and management of technical and programme knowledge across the organisation, and co-leads the development of relevant standards and guidance. About the Investment Team
The Investment Team is responsible for selecting charity partners, managing our charity investments and supporting our charity partners to improve and scale their impact.
The Investment Team also leads the Impetus Leadership Academy, a leadership development programme to support talent from ethnic minority backgrounds in the UK youth sector to progress into senior leadership roles.
The team is made up of 18 people, including former teachers, charity chief executives, charity impact leads, management consultants, social investment portfolio managers and impact consultants.

Job description – Investment Director
The Investment Director (ID) is a key member of the Investment Team, playing a leading role in identifying, assessing, and supporting portfolio partner charities and other non-profit organisations to deepen their impact and scale their outcomes. This role works closely with other Investment Directors and Investment Managers to deliver external facing support to portfolio partners as well as internal projects to support the development of the investment model and portfolio strategy.

Key responsibilities
Finding high potential charities and non-profit partners for our portfolio
- Identifying potential charitable organisations for investment.
- Leading in-depth due diligence process to assess and build partnership foundations with potential partners – covering leadership and governance, and their impact, scale, and partnership potential.
