Support Workers enable people with particular needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community and move towards greater independence by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package. The position is in Tower Hamlets at 140 Cannon Street Road E1 2LF and consists of 1 high support building with 20 flats, and 2 low support buildings with 20 lower support flats spread over two sites within close proximity.
The shift pattern for this role includes Earlies 8.00 - 16.00 and Lates 14.00 - 22.00. It also includes working 2 weekends per month.

What you'll do:

Your role:
The Grantmaking Operations team sits within the Fund’s Operations department and is primarily focused on ensuring that resources are reaching frontline activist organizations. The team seeks to hire a Grants Specialist who will report to the Managers of Grantmaking Operations and manage the Fund’s most complex grantmaking programs.
The successful candidate will join a high-performing, enthusiastic grants management team, a deeply committed global staff, and an organization constantly learning and adapting to global contexts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
Grantmaking
- Manage due diligence and enhanced grantmaking protocols for a highly complex and high-volume portfolio of grants spanning 50+ countries.
- Inform the development and implementation of grantmaking plans, ensuring they are robust and responsive to changing contexts and needs.
- Research compliance and financial regulation for various country contexts as needed and flag potential areas of risk to the Manager of Grantmaking Policy and Models.
- Identify and flag operational challenges that may have an impact on programmatic grantmaking ambitions, potential donor commitments or grantmaking advisory bodies.
- Coordinate with Program and Grantmaking Operations to ensure grants and grantee relationships are managed according to their risk level and operating context.
- Together with Program, Fundraising and Finance teams coordinate grant recommendation processes and timeline for grantmaking portfolios.
- Prepare and organize applicant materials and prospective grantee documents for all LEF cohorts.
- Manage incoming grant proposals and evaluate eligibility of prospective grantees in line with grantmaking due diligence protocols.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for grantees, enhancing grantee relations and maintaining communication in multiple languages, including but not limited to English and French.
- Coordinate translation of grant and program related materials in line with portfolio grantmaking, (i.e., ensuring all grant and program documents are tailored according to program initiatives and compliance needs)
- Participate (and lead as needed) in regular check-ins, strategic meetings and retreats to help coordinate the workflow of grantmaking, shape grantmaking budgets and collaboration with external stakeholders.
- Actively contribute to fundraising stages by integrating data-driven insights and compelling narratives in proposals and evaluation reports.
Database and Systems Administration
- Contribute to the management of the Fund’s grants management system.
- Maintain accurate grant and grantee records – updating grant, organization and contact records daily, updating budget trackers periodically and ensuring OFAC compliance.
- Generate reports and dashboards for colleagues across departments, as needed.
- Code all grantmaking requests and budgeting information.
- Enhance the grants management system functionalities, including coding and back-end development for improved user experience and data integrity.
- Collaborate with Grantmaking Operations colleagues to test new releases to grantmaking database, identifying improvements and addressing bugs.
- Contribute to the design and creation of the EOI and proposal forms in the grants management system.
- Facilitate the successful launch of newly implemented workflows and forms within the grants management system by identifying and assisting in the resolution of issues, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
- Support the design and implementation of grantee portals to facilitate efficient interactions and reporting.
- Collaborate with Grants Management colleagues to test new releases to grantmaking database, identifying improvements and addressing bugs.
Project Coordination
- Lead on GM internal projects; brainstorming and implementing workflow solutions to team endeavors, ensuring cohesive and aligned project reporting and closing.
- Provide support to the Manager of Grantmaking Systems & Projects
- Support engagement with all project stakeholders, gathering and integrating feedback to improve project management processes.
- Proactively identify risks associated with projects; recommending effective solutions to ensure successful implementation.
- Inform the scheduling and coordination of project activities, including meetings and deadlines, in coordination with Legal Empowerment Fund team.

Your Team:
This position is part of the Fund’s Grantmaking Operations Team. The team is comprised of one Director, two Managers and four Specialists spread between the US and UK offices. This position will report to the Manager of Systems & Projects and will be based in the UK or US.
You Have - Candidates should demonstrate the following range of skills, experience, and qualities:
- Three years of relevant work experience, e.g., managing workflows, projects, and processes + at least one year of complementary education or experience working in human rights, program, or fundraising
- Demonstrated experience navigating legal and financial frameworks in the UK/US and working knowledge of international grantmaking funding trends and nuances.
- Strong project management skills, including software and people and process management.
- Initiative and strong sense of follow up, demonstrating the ability to keep track of multiple streams of cross-sectional work, and drive forward momentum.

Mandatory:

The Masonic Charitable Foundation is looking for an experienced adviser to join our frontline Advice, Support & Enquiries Team managing all enquiries via the advice line and electronic/mail channels. Each month we receive hundreds of phone calls and emails from people who need our help. The team’s Advisers are often the first point of contact with the MCF and play a key role in our grants process.

The Role

The Role

An exciting position has arisen for a Corporate Partnerships Executive to join the team at a Social Care Charity that provides a variety of support services. This a permanent position and will play a key role in increasing capacity and income at a pivotal time in the charity’s 4 long term fundraising plan.
Key responsibilities of the role:
· Identifying ways to enhance value for corporate partners and increase income
· Managing select corporate partnerships and developing partnership plans
· Researching and identifying potential new corporate supporters
· Engaging prospective supporters and delivering cultivation plans
· Collaborating with teams to maintain accurate records and manage partnerships with Payroll Giving Agencies
· Supporting fundraising activities and staff engagement
· Assisting the Corporate Partnerships Manager with various projects, reports, and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient processes and accurate documentation
Ideal candidate profile:
· Proven experience in corporate or major donor fundraising as part of a dedicated fundraising team
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· A proactive, self-motivated individual with a team-oriented approach, demonstrating initiative, drive, and commitment
· Familiarity with CRM databases, data entry, and financial processing systems
· Possession of a full UK driving licence is preferred

The Help chapter brings together our core services responsible for responding to incoming enquiries from supporters, beneficiaries, and members of the public, including managing and responding to feedback and complaints.
About the role
As a Chapter Member at the National Deaf Children's Society, you'll be in a Chapter of like-minded and skilled specialists, experts, and emerging experts. Chapters are self-organising, and every member has a vital role to play, sharing their skills, knowledge and experience and learning and developing together. Led by the Chapter Lead all Chapter Members will value and respect each other's contribution and learn and develop collaboratively.
This role will design, implement and manage systems to ensure that fundraising and marketing activity is of a high quality, complies with relevant legislation and sector codes and is consistent with National Deaf Children’s Society policies.
You will carry out a programme of detailed quality assurance activity and monitoring to identify areas where improvements can be made and provide fundraising teams with recommended actions. This work has a particular focus on the management of telemarketing and face to face recruitment.
You will prepare reports for internal teams and stakeholders and provide support and guidance to fundraising staff in relation to compliance and what is required of them.
You will network effectively with peers across the sector and engage with external regulatory and sector bodies, such as the Fundraising Regulator, the CIOF, the DMA and the ICO, to ensure that the organisation is aware of all relevant developments and our views and priorities are taken into consideration; actively participating in sector consultations, meetings and working groups as appropriate.
Occasional travel will be required to shadow and monitor compliance training and to support our fundraising agencies.
What might a day in the life look like?
- Take ownership of and manage our internal Call Monitoring process – selecting and allocating calls from our agencies and listening to the majority to recognise any potential issues or trends that may arise.
- To follow up any feedback with the agencies and ensure they are compliant with fundraising code of practice.
- Updating and monitoring the site lists on our websites to ensure our supporters know where we are.
- Attend monthly and ad-hoc compliance forums and engage with external bodies to ensure we are maintaining standards across the sector. A chance to network with peers and even offer insight into our best practise.
- Quarterly due diligence checks with our agencies, along with monitoring of job adverts and contracts to ensure compliance.
- To manage and monitor our Mystery Shopping programme – engaging with the agencies regarding feedback and follow up, and approving invoices.
- A monthly compliance tracker to be shared internally so we know our key areas of focus.
- Management of our fundraising shadowing programme, with the occasional visits to our agencies for compliance training, feedback and shadowing.
- To help the organisation to deliver excellent standards of supporter care by providing cover for the team where necessary.
- To identify compliance issues which require follow-up or investigation and to conduct or direct any internal investigation.
- To conduct periodic audits (including National Deaf Children’s Society’s fundraising suppliers) to ensure that compliance procedures are followed and that compliance systems are effective.
- To catch up with your Chapter and offer valuable insights and support.
