As Individual Giving and Appeals Manager, you’ll deliver integrated fundraising campaigns across direct mail, email, and digital channels — helping us grow our individual giving base and strengthen donor loyalty. 

Alongside driving individual and regular giving, you’ll help shape a new in-memory giving offer, build our legacy giving programme from the ground up, and grow our Named Funds programme.

Working closely with teams across the charity, you’ll design inspiring donor journeys and stewardship plans. You’ll also use data and insight to refine our approach and ensure every supporter feels truly valued.

Prospectus is delighted to be working with a fantastic organisation, one of the UK's largest charitable trusts, to recruit a temporary Senior Finance Administrator to support their grant administration process.

This is a full time role, starting as soon as possible and running for 2 months in the first instance. You will be required on site in Victoria 3 days per week (Tuesday - Thursday), and the remainder remote. Note that for the initial induction period, you will be required on site 5 days per week.

In this role, you will execute grant payments and the correct recording of grant financial information on their accounting software. You will also work as part of the Finance Payments Team to execute payments, perform reconciliations, and other controls.

A core responsibility of this role is processing international payments to Africa, so experience in this is essential. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Athena would be preferable, but knowledge of similar software will be considered.

Other duties will include maintenance of filing and accurate record keeping, supporting the ongoing development of the finance systems and ad hoc projects, and working proactively with the finance team to support and improve a general provision of support to the trust.

Contract and Hours

About this job

The MS Society is looking for a passionate and dynamic Shop Manager to lead the daily operations of one of our retail locations. This role is key to supporting our mission of improving the lives of those affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). The Shop Manager will be responsible for driving sales, managing a team of volunteers and staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring efficient stock control.

The role will also involve working with donors, promoting the MS Society’s work, and supporting fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, alongside a commitment to our charitable goals and the ability to inspire a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all shop operations, including sales, stock management, and visual merchandising.
• Manage a team of volunteers and staff, providing training, guidance, and support.
• Drive sales targets and ensure the shop meets its fundraising goals.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met.
• Organise and coordinate in-store promotions and events.
• Manage donations and stock intake, ensuring the shop remains organised and efficient.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure the shop operates within budget.

Work pattern includes Saturdays, flexibility is required.

We are looking for a Philanthropy Key Relationships Manager to lead on building and strengthening relationships with major and mid-level donors, helping them achieve their philanthropic goals while raising vital income for the charity.

The Role

With a strong focus on stewardship, you’ll manage a portfolio of supporters, create tailored engagement opportunities, and deliver compelling cases for support that inspire long-term giving. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure a joined-up, strategic approach to relationship fundraising. Your ability to communicate with clarity and warmth, alongside a deep understanding of what motivates Christian supporters, will be key to growing support and maximising impact.

About You

You will have proven experience of developing high-value relationships with donors (individuals) and a track record of success in soliciting major gifts in excess of £5k or transferable skills gained in a similar role with equally demanding relationship-based targets.

With knowledge of the principles of relationships fundraising to include identification, research, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major and mid-level donors, you will have experience of working autonomously and effectively with people at senior or Board level.

You will have:

• Evidence of strong influencing and negotiating skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to make a cogent and compelling supporting case for each project

• The ability to develop excellent working relationships with staff, Trustees and volunteers; you will be diplomatic, persuasive and credible at a senior level

• The ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus and standards, and balancing time scales

• The ability to confidently present to and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders

• An understanding of what drives and motivates potential and existing Christian supporters
