The Community Fundraising Manager plays a key part in delivering our ambitious Charity strategy, linking the hospital charity, NHS staff members, and the local community. About this job

We’re seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger with a passion for accuracy and efficiency to manage the processing and payment of invoices, credit notes, expenses, and other payments through our purchase ledger system. In this vital role, you’ll handle a high volume of transactions using Compleat purchase ordering software and our accounting system (currently Dynamics GP, likely to transition to Microsoft Business Central soon).

You’ll be responsible for ensuring all invoices and expenses are legitimate, accurately matched, and approved in line with our policies and procedures. Acting as the primary contact for suppliers, (including managing the accounts payable mailbox) you’ll ensure that all queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently and that the turnaround between receipt and payment of invoices is in line with what has been agreed with the supplier. You’ll ensure payments are processed on time and prepare bulk BACS payment runs, reconcile supplier statements, and assist with verifying supplier details.

ABOUT THE ROLE

CONTRACT TYPE: 24 months fixed term with a view to extending, however this is funding dependent.

You will be based from our flagship space in East Finchley but may also be required to travel across the borough of Barnet. Whilst we try to keep things consistent, we require everyone to work flexibly as required to ensure adequate staff ratios across our provision.

Due to our existing commitments to young people, at a minimum this post-holder must be available to work in-person Mon-Thursday and until 7pm on a Wednesday and Thursday.

We are looking for a Senior Inclusion Specialist (term time + 3 weeks only) to join a team providing educational support to children and young people, their families, and local schools in the aftermath of the Grenfell tragedy.

The Role

The Senior Inclusion Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who have been affected by the Grenfell tragedy. You will work directly with families, schools, alternative provisions, and local services to identify and address individual needs, ensuring that inclusive education practices are implemented effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a small team, including an Inclusion Specialist and Family Practitioner.
• Oversee complex SEN cases, guiding families through assessments, referrals, and support plans.
• Provide trauma-informed guidance, advising on how trauma impacts learning and behaviour.
• Work with schools and local authorities to design inclusive education strategies and improve SEN provision.
• Conduct baseline assessments and develop individual support plans for children and young people.
• Deliver training sessions to educators, parents, and carers on SEN best practices and trauma-informed teaching.
• Coordinate diagnostic assessments and liaise with external professionals, ensuring timely interventions.

About the Organisation

The Grenfell Education Hub will open later this year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub will provide educational support to children and young people, their families, and local schools.

Following a consultation process in 2023 and 2024, the hub will bring together a team of professionals, including four specialist teachers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Careers Coordinator, and a Family Support Worker. Their time will be split between direct work with children and families in the hub and supporting local schools. The hub’s objectives are to:

• Provide high-quality educational support to as many children and young people as possible.
• Build the skills and confidence of children, families, and education staff in local schools.
• Develop strong relationships with those most affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.

The successful candidate will have experience of leading a team or teams delivering services to groups of vulnerable clients and of developing successful routes away from the street for people experiencing rough sleeping.

Someone with the energy and project management skills to successfully seize opportunities, trouble shoot problems, implement projects and ensure effective contract compliance.

The HR Manager is the principal HR point of contact and leads on day to day HR matters, delivering a professional service across the organisation including:

• recruitment and professional development
• all contractual matters and compliance with employment law and GDPR
• monthly payroll processing

The post-holder supports the Chief Operating Officer in HR policy development and the integration of Henry Moore Foundation values and behaviours.

Our successful candidate will be CIPD qualified or have the equivalent level of HR management experience within a similar role, ideally in the cultural or not-for-profit sectors, as well as the following key skills:

• a full understanding of UK employment law, HR functions and best practices

Experience in payroll processing is highly desirable, along with knowledge of HR software systems – training will be provided on BrightPay/Connect.

The post is based at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens, 30 miles north of London in rural East Hertfordshire, mid-way between London and Cambridge. On average, one day per month will be spent at the Henry Moore Institute in Leeds. Some homeworking may be considered.

We’re looking for a Post Award Manager to oversee the post-award process, ensuring that funded projects meet their objectives, remain compliant, and deliver lasting impact.

As Post Award Manager, you’ll work closely with grant recipients, funding partners, and internal teams to track project performance, resolve compliance issues, and provide expert support. Reporting to the Senior Post Award Manager, you’ll monitor how funding is used, ensure grant conditions are met, and contribute to the continuous improvement of post-award processes. Your role will be key in ensuring that investment delivers real and measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ongoing relationships with grant recipients to ensure compliance and success.
• Provide specialist advice and support, helping projects stay on track.

• Attend site visits to assess project performance and resolve issues.

The salary band for this role is £40,000 - £46,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.
