The Act introduces a new civil Domestic Abuse Protection Notice (DAPN) to provide immediate protection following a domestic abuse incident and a new civil Domestic Abuse Protection Order (DAPO) to provide flexible, longer-term protection for victims. DAPOs can impose both prohibitions and positive requirements on perpetrators. Positive requirements can be in the form of interventions aimed at reducing and managing risk, meeting the needs of an individual (for the factors that are not the causation of abuse but impact on risk, e.g. mental ill health and substance misuse) and behaviour change interventions.
The Drive Partnership has been commissioned by the Home Office to design a triage model that will assess individuals for the suitability of these interventions; this triage model will be rolled out in the pilot sites, which are going live in May 2024, and will be tested and evaluated in order to prepare for national roll out in 2026.
The Research Analyst will be responsible for working with and supporting the Senior Research Analyst and Research Managers to develop and deliver rigorous and sector-leading data, analysis and recommendations across our work alongside the Drive Partnership.
This role is an exciting opportunity to help transform the response to domestic abuse by ensuring the sector is evidence-led. SafeLives holds the largest datasets on victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse nationally, which you will use to inform our ambitious policy and research agenda. Working alongside our practice experts, survivors of abuse, and our expert research team, you will help to answer important questions about what works in ending domestic abuse.
We need an enthusiastic, innovative and capable individual with the excellent technical ability to keep our unique sector-leading evidence base relevant and informative to all our users: local service providers, commissioners and national government. The evidence you produce will inform and influence national policymakers, funders and stakeholders to improve the response for families living with domestic abuse.

About the role
The Head of Fundraising at InFocus is our senior fundraiser. They report to the Director of Income Generation and Business Development (IGBD) who has a varied portfolio that also includes marketing and communications, catering, charity retail, and strategic partnerships. This means that you will be part of a wider team (and all the support that comes with it), but will still have overall responsibility for setting the direction of our fundraising activity.
This appointment comes at a time when we need to consolidate our existing unrestricted fundraising activities and look towards preparing a substantial capital campaign to develop our site.
Our charity receives a large amount of statutory funding and has a relatively small pool of regular supporters and donors. It’s essential that the Head of Fundraising can take a strategic approach to growing income, but particularly through researching and writing quality applications to charitable trusts and foundations (which has typically made up a large part of our fundraising mix).
A Fundraising Relationship Officer is in post and is managed by the Head of Fundraising. They will need to be supported to make sure that we continue to grow our emerging individual, community and corporate fundraising streams.
About you
You will have practical experience in trusts and foundations, and be prepared to step into a leadership role in a small but friendly team. You’ll need to be a confident communicator with donors and supporters, as well as a diverse staff team spread across our large campus at the edge of Exeter (and six charity retail stores).
You will be confident in balancing strategic planning with practical tasks (which will include preparing materials and applications to trusts and foundations).
You may already have leadership experience, or you may be stepping up into a more senior role for the first time. Either way, you will have the support of the Director IGBD, CEO and colleagues from across the InFocus team.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.

The interim Head of Grants & Impact is responsible for effectively managing our grant management process and strengthening partnerships, with a focus on the impact our funding achieves.
The role would suit someone with strong leadership qualities who will be excited and willing to contribute to our wider leadership team and can build strong relationships across our health sector and academic partners, with compelling written communication skills and extensive experience of impact evaluation and grants governance.
In line with the charity’s core behaviours, we value diverse backgrounds and contributions.
About RBH Charity:
Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity is dedicated to improving the lives of people with serious heart and lung disease. Each year we grant around £6m to fund projects at our partner hospitals, including current initiatives such as:

- Committing £100,000 to a Patients’ Fund each year, to support around 40 micro-projects from palliative care ‘comfort boxes’ to better seating and new televisions on wards
Our funding comes from the fundraising efforts of thousands of supporters as well as income generated by our investments in property and equity markets.
We have a small, committed and skilled team (29 in 2024/25), with expertise across fundraising, marketing, HR, property management, grant-making and financial management.
We are committed to – and hold ourselves and each other to account for – the following core behaviours:

· Working as one team, sharing information and ideas, and valuing our diverse range of backgrounds and contributions
· Solving problems, using our resources, our networks and our creativity to provide a better service
