In this role, you will lead technical teams, manage projects, oversee IT infrastructure, and ensure that technology aligns with the charity’s strategic goals. You will play a vital role in advancing our digital capabilities, enabling efficient operations and supporting the expansion of our mission-driven activities.
As a strategic leader, you will contribute to the overall strategy for Finance and Corporate Services, offering insights and guidance. You will oversee the development and implementation of the overarching IT strategy, working closely with the Director to ensure alignment with the Directorate Strategy. In addition, you will lead in the creation and execution of the charity’s Data Strategy, empowering Dementia UK to effectively harness data into actionable goals with clear performance metrics.
You will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as fundraising, clinical, finance and people teams to understand their IT needs and explore opportunities to enhance service delivery, fundraising, and donor engagement through technology. Your oversight of IT infrastructure will span servers, networks, cloud environments and data centers, ensuring reliable and secure operations while implementing best practices in security and data protection. You will also ensure that IT policies and procedures comply with industry standards, including GDPR, Charity Commission requirements, and data security guidelines.
To succeed in this role, you will have a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with extensive experience in senior IT management, with a focus on infrastructure, security, and project management. You will possess sound knowledge of IT governance, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR) and have experience with cloud platforms, network infrastructure, and database management. Exceptional communication skills will be essential, enabling you to convey complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

The Movement Collaboration Lead or Senior Movement Collaboration Lead (depending on experience) will work closely with the Programme Director and the Programme Team to lead the development and delivery of an exciting emerging programme of work building collaboration for economic system change between grassroots groups and new economy organisations.
We are looking for people who are: passionate about addressing economic injustice, are excited about the role of collaboration in creating systems change and capable of creating partnerships and strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
The first twelve months of this programme will take an action inquiry approach to facilitate a mixed group of new economy organisations and grassroots groups through a collaborative process that will develop shared knowledge and practice about how we can effectively and equitably collaborate on economic systems change work through practical experiments, facilitated dialogue and collaborative research.
The role will involve responsibilities for project managing and delivering this work including programme development and delivery, developing partnerships, changemaker recruitment and support, conducting desk research and interviews, managing and running events, supporting project related fundraising, conducting project learning and evaluation and writing a learning report about the project.
Following this first year we plan to scale work on supporting collaboration between grassroots groups and new economy organisations, subject to funding we hope this could become a permanent role.
All programme roles in the People’s Economy team support work across the programme team and we see a postholder likely working on the Action Inquiry for 0.4 FTE and supporting other work strands depending on their relevant skills, experiences and interests for 0.2 FTE.

Job Description
Project Development
- Working closely with the Programme Director and the Programme Team, lead the translation of existing strategic thinking, planning and relationship building into a project plan.
- Working closely with the Programme Director and the Programme Team, contribute to business planning and fundraising for future development of the action inquiry beyond the first year.
- Working closely with Programme Director lead outreach and relationship building with new economy organisations, funders and other relevant stakeholders.
- Working closely with the Head of Community, lead outreach and relationship building with changemakers and grassroots groups for the action inquiry.
- Working closely with the Programme Director, develop a plan for learning and evaluation of the project.
Project Delivery
- Working closely with the Programme Team, coordinate the delivery of the action inquiry.
- Lead on organising the logistics and resources required to effectively deliver the action inquiry
- Working closely with the Programme Team, recruit and onboard changemakers to the project
- With support from the Head of Training, contribute to the delivery of learning and skills sessions as part of the inquiry

Day to day delivery of Internal Comms projects & content:

- Excellent copy-writing and copy-editing skills, with ability to flex tone as required and attention to detail - such as staff emails/updates, briefing & speaker notes for leadership, staff newsletter, PPT presentations & agendas

About the role

As a CRM Project Data Lead, you will support the successful migration of data to our new Dynamics 365 platform on a 9-month Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you'll collaborate with internal teams and external delivery partners to ensure a smooth and accurate transfer of data.
Your key responsibility will be leading the data migration process, from mapping and cleaning data, to ensuring it aligns with our new CRM structure. You'll work closely with our delivery partner to transform data from Raiser's Edge into Dynamics 365, ensuring all data is correctly mapped and validated before migration. Part of your role will involve minimising disruptions during any downtime and advising on potential risks or training gaps that may arise throughout the project.
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the migrated data, checking for losses, inaccuracies, or duplications, and developing a robust recovery plan for the migration process. You will also work alongside our delivery partner to carry out thorough testing and validation to ensure the data transfer is accurate and meets the needs of the organisation.
Additionally, you'll support the documentation of data structures and migration processes, keeping stakeholders informed of any data changes or updates. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will provide advice to guide data-led decision-making throughout the project.
This role also involves supporting team training on data standards and the use of Dynamics 365, helping the organisation transition to the new system smoothly.

What are we looking for?
Experience within a Data Lead or Data Manager role and a strong background in CRM migration projects, ideally involving Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Your experience working on large-scale CRM implementations with third-party delivery partners will be essential, as will your ability to manage data validation and ensure a smooth transition to the new platform.

As the Chief Financial and Commercial Officer at Brandon Trust, you’ll be at the heart of shaping our financial strategy, guiding commercial growth, and ensuring we remain resilient and impactful in our mission to empower people with learning disabilities and autism. Reporting directly to our Chief Executive Officer, this role offers a rare opportunity to blend strategic financial leadership with a values-driven approach, ensuring that our organisation is both commercially successful and socially responsible.
Your expertise will help us manage our property portfolio, maximise our resources, and identify new opportunities to sustain our growth. As part of the Executive Leadership Team, you will play a key role in shaping our long-term success, championing innovation, and making ethical decisions that reflect Brandon’s values: Recognise, Involve, Equip, Challenge, and Support.

Key deliverables:
- Strategic financial and commercial leadership: Lead our financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with our mission and charitable goals.
- Asset and property management: Maximise the value of Brandon’s assets and lead on capital investment opportunities to enhance our services.
- Commercial growth: Collaborate with senior leaders to identify new revenue streams and drive sustainable growth, supporting Brandon’s long-term vision.
- Risk management and compliance: Implement robust financial controls and ensure we meet all regulatory requirements, safeguarding Brandon’s future.
- Team leadership: Build and inspire a high-performing finance team, fostering continuous improvement and supporting their professional development.
What you’ll bring:
- Strategic expertise: You have a proven track record of senior financial leadership, ideally in a values-driven organisation. You’ll have the ability to deliver forward-thinking financial strategies that support long-term sustainability and growth.
- Commercial acumen: Your experience in developing commercial strategies will enable you to drive growth, explore new revenue opportunities, and manage property and assets effectively.

· Level 7 (advanced) financial qualification is desirable.
· Advanced academic and professional qualification, and membership (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent is essential career track record that demonstrates comprehensive competency in financial and executive leadership.

Marmalade Trust is a small charity with a big mission – and the momentum is growing. Marmalade Trust was started in 2013 by healthcare professional Amy Perrin. Through the nature of her work, Amy was always aware of loneliness, and she wanted to do something to change the stigma around it and help to build a more connected society. Since launching, they have directly helped thousands of people and have reached millions more.
