You will work closely with the Development Director to develop and implement a cross-organisational communications strategy to maximise our reach and brand awareness amongst core audiences, leading in turn to increased funding and an impact on statutory and policy approaches to preventing VAWG. You will line manage our Senior Communications Coordinator and collaborate closely with the senior leadership team (SLT), who lead on our policy and influencing work. You will also support the Development team to better engage current and potential supporters and funders.
Bridging the gap between senior leadership and delivery, you will be a confident and strategic thinker, but remain excited by the challenge of getting stuck in. The main purposes of the Communications Manager role are:

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to coordinate an 18-month project exploring how we can operationalise a new in-work poverty benchmark for employers in London. This benchmark, developed by the Social Market Foundation, has the potential to improve the lives of low paid workers, building on the success of the Living Wage campaigns
The in-work poverty benchmark project is a new and exciting pilot project at the Living Wage Foundation. We want this person to build a case for employers going further than our existing accreditations and taking a more holistic approach to tackling in work poverty. This role would help us develop the pilot through employer case studies and extensive stakeholder engagement with a view to launching a new vehicle to recognise employers who adopt the in-work poverty benchmark.
Three key parts of the role would be working with:
- Our Membership team and our Operations and Insights team: to scope out and enhance their capacity to support employers to implement the benchmark through e.g. workshops, provision of guidance and /or new ways of working with employers.
- The cross organisational Making London a Living Wage City (MLLWC) team to build upon the successes and networks of this project and align where helpful to encourage London employers to go further
- London based community organisers to ensure that the experiences and stories of low paid workers are a primary driver of the case for change and how we develop this work.
The ideal candidate would be a proactive and experienced project manager with experience of building and implementing new products, projects or services. They should have excellent communication skills and a track record of engaging diverse stakeholders and building a network.

Citizens UK is the home of community organising with diverse civil society alliances set up to develop leaders to work on the issues that matter to them, such as the Living Wage. Contribute to the achievement of the LWF and CUK’s strategic aims
· Work with the Living Wage Foundation team to embed this project into the wider work and strategy of the Foundation, and to identify and share learning from across our projects on how to mobilise employer action to tackle poverty.
Develop and manage external relationships
· Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement plan to support and promote the project.
· Manage strong relationships with the project partners and funders to involve and update them on the project as required.
· Progress our existing partnerships whilst proactively securing new partnerships with organisations that can help promote and build demand for the in-work poverty benchmark.

· Design and develop the recognition mechanism and support programme for employers who sign up to the in-work poverty benchmark.
· Provide regular progress reports and deliver agreed project milestones including events, reports and other agreed outputs.
· Oversee the project being integrated into our CRM system and developing robust project management systems.
Learning, expertise, wellbeing and inclusion
· Conduct desk research, stakeholder interviews and organise events as required to inform the project. Manage research partners to conduct additional research as required.
· Monitor, review, evaluate and write up pilot progress with each employer using qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods.

· Develop the support we offer Living Wage Employers that are interested in implementing the in-work poverty benchmark and lead the production and design of research reports, toolkits, best practice guides and other resources.
· Promote the Living Wage Foundation to build our reputation as a leader in good work practices for low paid workers, including launching research and reports and celebrating progress made.

The Senior Fundraising Operations Officer will lead on a number of weekly and monthly data import processes, ensuring income and supporter contact data is loaded accurately onto the CRM system.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Database Manager in the management and development of the Charity CRM database, championing its use across fundraising and identifying opportunities for system development. They will also work with colleagues across fundraising and communications to support the selection of data for marketing campaigns.
Key tasks
- Lead on the import of both online and offline income streams, investigating and resolving anomalies.
- Undertake data marketing selections, in conjunction with the Database Manager, liaising with fundraising colleagues on selection criteria.
- Work with the Database Manager to provide effective database and operational support to end users.
- Undertake all aspects of the Supporter Services Assistant role on days when they are not in the office, ensuring supporter enquiries are responded to, income processed twice weekly and donations thanked.
- Work with the Database Manager to develop and continuously improve database reporting across both Charity CRM and Power BI in support of the fundraising and communications operational plan.

Securing New Corporate Partnership Business
·To support in the creation of a new corporate fundraising strategy and subsequently implement this

Success relies on the Compton fundraising team achieving ambitious funding targets. The In Memory and Legacy Manager is a vital role, leading on two of the largest income lines for our client.
The role will focus on further development of our In Memory campaigns and events, legacy marketing and promotion as well and working with a specialist colleague to manage legacy administration.
The legacy promotion aspects of the role will include plans to maximise results from a national TV and media campaign in 2025 in collaboration with HospiceUK.
This role is centred around delivering excellent donor care and stewardship to those closest to Trinity, innovative and creative thinking and strong relationship management skills.
The successful candidate will line manage two team members, an In Memory and Legacy Executive and a Legacy Administrator.
As an In Memory and Legacy Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop Trinity’s in memory giving products and events, including the annual Light up a Life concert and Summer Solstice remembrance evening.
- Lead and develop legacy marketing strategies and products, and develop new legacy giving promotion events.
- Manage legacy administration, including maintaining and monitoring the legacy income pipeline, and assisting with practical legacy administration tasks.
- Develop and review regularly income and expenditure budgets and income forecasting.
- Deliver excellent stewardship for newly bereaved supporters and longstanding in memory and legacy supporters.
- Maintain excellent internal relationships with Fundraising colleagues, and the Communications team, as well as the Hospice clinical teams.
- Collaborate with the Communications Team to build promotional strategies.
- Ensure supporter records on the charity database (Raiser’s Edge NXT) are kept up to date.
