The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and highly organised national Quality Manager to join our expanding team. This is a new role that will lead on the quality assurance of IPS Grow delivery, responsible for implementing a robust quality management system and measuring our work against agreed standards. This includes quality assuring resources for the IPS Grow team and the IPS community, streamlining internal processes, and ensuring consistency of IPS Grow delivery across regions.
This is a national role that will work closely with the Head of Delivery and wider IPS Grow senior team, with a mix of remote and in person working from our London office.
The Team
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expanison of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by Social Finance in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
Responsibilities
1. Oversee internal and external quality across IPS Grow delivery

Implement policies and processes that align fidelity reviews with international best practice.

Oversee the IPS Grow Quality Mark, ensuring accurate and consistent application.

Establish systems for monitoring delivery against KPIs and contract requirements.

Maximise our focus on race equity across internal operations and external delivery.

Identify and implement quality improvements based on internal and external stakeholder feedback.

Work with the Workforce Manager to quality assure training materials for the IPS workforce.
2. Facilitate learning and development of IPS Grow delivery staff

Drive high-quality recruitment and onboarding processes.

Collaborate with Regional Managers to implement competency frameworks, performance plans, and a training programme that supports professional development.

Embed staff development and reflective practice across team processes such as team meetings and staff 1:1s.

Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of L&D initiatives and make necessary improvements.
3. Streamline knowledge management

Implement a robust system for version control and documentation procedures.

Ensure a comprehensive range of high-quality resources is available for IPS services.

Embed a race equity lens across new and existing resources.

Work with key stakeholders to coproduce resources and ensure content is accessible and reflective of the communities IPS services work with.

Work with senior colleagues to develop and maintain an internal knowledge management hub for delivery staff, ensuring all resources are up to date and relevant.
4. Communication and collaboration:

Work closely with the Head of Delivery, Regional Managers and other senior leadership staff to share best practices and coordinate efforts across regions.

Build and maintain strong relationships with local and national stakeholders; attend and contribute to stakeholder meetings, sharing insights and updates on quality development initiatives.

Contribute to internal and external communications, including newsletters, reports, and presentations.

Support the implementation of data collection and analysis processes to ensure high-quality standards and drive continuous improvement across IPS Grow services.

Collaborate with the Data Manager to ensure data accuracy and integrity, leveraging insights to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Continuously refine practice and skill by engaging with IPS experts and other stakeholders in the UK and internationally to bring the best and most up-to-date understanding of “what works” to programme delivery.

Influence the strategy by working with the senior team to shape our strategy and roadmap for future projects.

The Regional Business Development Manager ensures WaterAid is well positioned within donor and consortium partner/key supplier markets as a “go to” partner for sustainable WASH programming. This position plays a key internal role, through monitoring, shaping and highlighting the country funding needs to WaterAid federation members and facilitating funding flows to countries.
Key accountabilities among others include:
Strategy
- Support country programmes in developing fundraising, donor and consortium partner strategies from a deep understanding of how to position WA’s programmes within the current donor marketplace
Pipeline development and management:
- Be responsible for growing and monitoring the pipeline of relevant funding opportunities to WA country programmes, coordinating with fundraising members to communicating donor intelligence, ensuring a balanced portfolio of funding types and ambition.
- Provide strategic support to the sign on of larger funding opportunities, ensuring that WA country teams are supported to negotiate favourable positions within consortia and are able to effectively assess and mitigate for delivery risk
- Support the improvement of cost recovery in restricted funding contracts through supporting country teams to communicate and negotiate with donors
Funding skills and capabilities development:
- Monitor the fundraising skills, capabilities and investment levels within country teams, and support the development of both funding focused roles and the capability of country Senior Management Teams to engage with donors and develop funding propositions
- Play a leading role in co-creating and embedding business processes, systems, and policies for restricted funding
- Build confidence in pursuing different funding modalities, including commercial contracts through accompanying country teams in the development of complex and novel bidding approaches (with the support of global teams and consultants)
Leadership and Line management
- Responsible for working with a high-performing team of Country Funding Leads and Donor Relationship Leads across the globe. The Regional Business Development Manager will contribute to strategic and operational planning processes; define and deliver an agreed set of team performance targets; and providing guidance, coaching and support in helping peers achieve optimum performance.
- Responsible for the matrix management of the Heads of Funding and Business Development at the country level.
- Lead on promotion of the cross country and regional learning and best practices on business development and bid development and management.
To be successful, you will need the following:
- Master’s Degree level qualification in international development, economics or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Approximately 10 years of experience in planning, securing and managing funds from institutional donors such as USAID, EC, UK Government, International Financial Institutions such as the WB, AfDB, local and international corporates, trust and foundations such as Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation etc.
- Substantial experience and knowledge of the institutional funding space and a deep understanding of bilateral and multilateral donors’ routes to market
- Demonstrable track record of developing and delivering on strategies for restricted income growth.
- Strategic networker with the ability to identify and transform opportunities into tangible results
- Ability to work in a flexible and agile way to identify opportunities and address challenges
- Ability to take complex information and simplify for audiences
- Being bilingual will be an asset

About the role:
We are looking for a driven, articulate professional with a passion for making a tangible difference in the lives of disabled children and young adults. This role is crucial in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our mission and ensure financial stability. Key skills required for this role:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fundraising role, donor relations, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising and meeting financial targets.
- Experience of working with children preferred, although not essential.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in fundraising software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with donors, volunteers, and community stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Luminary Limited, an award winning charity supporting women who have experienced multiple disadvantages to achieve independence and employment. The Partnerships & Evaluation Manager plays a key role in helping graduates of our training programme to build confidence and skills and move into work. You will do this by coordinating and expanding opportunities for work experience both with external partners and within Luminary’s social enterprise, Luminary Bakery Ltd. You will lead our mentoring programme, which links volunteers with our graduates to help them for a 6 month mentoring relationship. You will also ensure that we are doing everything we can to help women succeed, through ensuring strong monitoring, evaluation and impact measurement across our activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
MENTORING:
- Coordinate the Luminary mentoring scheme – recruiting, pairing & managing volunteer mentors to ensure they offer graduates the best possible support for their first steps towards employment & independence
- Managing issues from graduates or mentors relating to the mentoring programme
- Delivering training sessions to prepare mentors for their role
PARTNERSHIPS:
- Network & broker relationships with suitable external partners to create work placement opportunities for our training programme graduates, overseeing and coordinating these opportunities, and accompanying women to interviews or placements where necessary to help them gain confidence

Director of Resources

This pivotal role is based in our London office on the vibrant South Bank and involves comprehensive management of the Finance, HR, and Governance business functions. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of Finance, HR, and Governance business functions.
- Manage financial aspects of the company, including quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements for the UK, Republic of Ireland, and Malta.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and oversee internal audits.
- Lead and develop the Finance, HR, and Governance teams, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with overall business goals.
- Represent the Finance Department in internal and external projects, ensuring HSF remains competitive in the health plan market.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as Director of Resources, Director of Finance, or a similar role.
- Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple business functions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic thinking skills.
- Knowledge of HR management principles and employment legislation.
