Location of Work: Flexible, this post holder can be based at home, our London office or a hybrid approach working from home with office visits as required, we continue to seek to enable flexible and remote working. The role may involve some irregular travel throughout England and Scotland.
Contract Type: Ideally full-time, 35 hours per week, although part time / flexible hours may be considered. The role may require occasional evening and weekend work.

BACKGROUND
Magic Breakfast is a registered charity providing healthy breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn, and expert support to their schools. Over 200,000 children and young people are on roll at Primary, Secondary, ASL / Special Educational Needs Schools and Pupil Referral Units that the charity works with, in disadvantaged areas of Scotland and England. Providing breakfast ensures that children start their school day with the energy and nutrition they need to be able to make the most of their morning lessons. Magic Breakfast also undertakes research, and campaigns for long-term solutions to end hunger as a barrier to learning.

JOB PURPOSE
Magic Breakfast’s mission is to end child morning hunger in the UK now and for good. The biggest team within the Fundraising and Development department, Corporate Partnerships are responsible for building and unlocking multi-layered and mutually beneficial relationships that go beyond, and include, critical financial support.
The Head of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for leading, empowering and enabling a dynamic, growing and ambitious team to maximise the potential of both cash and gift-in-kind income streams. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic, mission-led focus and alignment across new partnership development and management whilst also playing a critical role as part of the wider Fundraising & Development leadership and Magic Breakfast core management group.
In recent years, our existing corporate fundraising programme has developed and grown and includes a volunteering programme that engages with over 200 volunteers a year. Our portfolio includes long-term strategic relationships with companies including Heinz, Amazon and New York Bakery Company as well as newer partnerships with companies such as Marriot Hotels. As the Head of the team, you will provide senior and strategic support to help deepen the impact of our many multi-faceted relationships whilst championing innovation and creativity throughout. You will also oversee the development of a targeted pipeline to ensure there are clear strategies for identification, cultivation, and stewardship and that partners are aligned with Magic Breakfast values and our Ethical Fundraising Policy.
To enable the success of the partnerships team, the successful candidate will work closely with other departments across the organisation to build effective relationships and identify and deliver opportunities for partners to deliver on and engage with our strategic objectives and campaigns.
As a member of the Senior Fundraising Leads and Core Management Group, the post holder will also show exceptional leadership, role model our core values, and support the development and delivery of the major giving and wider fundraising strategy, and the in-year management of our organisational objectives and KPIs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy and Leadership

Support the development and delivery of a new Fundraising & Development strategy, identifying and contributing specifically to sustainable and ambitious growth from corporate partners in line with the charity’s financial ambitions and strategic objectives

Lead in convening colleagues to ensure the organisation can make empowered decisions and continue to grow in an informed and sustainable manner.
Income Generation and Donor Stewardship

Manage a high-performing corporate fundraising team, providing leadership and support to set and implement an effective corporate fundraising strategy raising £3,400,000 in cash and £1,500,000 from GIK in 2024/25 with a focus on multi-year investment.

Increase cash and gift-in-kind income from corporate partners by:

Building the capacity of the new business function to grow a robust and diverse multi-year pipeline of prospects and support them in on-boarding new high value partnerships

Building the capacity of the account management function to effectively steward, uplift and retain our existing partners, maximising added value opportunities for mutual benefit.
Reporting, Budgets and Financial Management

Manage all aspects of the Corporate Partnerships team budget.

Lead on the data capture and reporting on all corporate management cash and gift income via our Salesforce data base, reporting as necessary on opportunities, risk and any changes to forecast or projected income received.

Conduct effective annual planning and budgeting in close collaboration with colleagues from across the organisation, setting, measuring, and reporting against agreed budget, KPIs and objectives
Core Management Group

Lead the Corporate Partnerships team in line with Magic Breakfast’s values, supporting and managing them in line with Magic Breakfast’s policies and procedures.

Develop the team’s collective capability through career development plans, which identify training opportunities (formal external training as well as via project allocation and involvement with external partners)

Take an active role in setting, delivering, and evaluating progress against Corporate Partnerships team strategy and goals

Our Senior Partnership Development Officer is responsible for proactively establishing, managing and growing our largest partnerships while line managing one of our team Executives. You’ll have strong relationship management and business development skills, as well as attention to detail and an organised approach to a busy and varied workload. You will work with the wider Partnership Development team to coordinate activity from high-value relationships while holding and developing robust long-term relationships with our highest-level corporate donors.
Our Partnership Development Team sits within the Philanthropy and Partnerships Directorate. We collaborate closely with the Regional Fundraising team and the wider Fundraising and Marketing function, so communication, collaboration, and strong relationship skills are essential.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Provide high-quality account management for corporate supporters, acting as the day-to-day contact point for the company and its staff and ensuring the highest standard of supporter care at all times.
· Respond promptly and professionally to corporate supporters, ensuring extremely high-level customer service is maintained from across the charity with the accounts you are responsible for.
· Lead new partnership set-ups, including establishing legal agreements, partnership calendars and reporting methods.
· Create and support Partner Charity Committee’s and Ambassador networks
· Build strong relationships with internal ARUK stakeholders, including Senior Leadership Team, to collaborate on partnership strategy.
· Offer extensive, creative fundraising ideas to support partner companies, using a broad range of experience and case studies.
· Assist with the organisation of innovative, engaging corporate fundraising events and attend events where relevant.
· Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of all corporate activity, clearly communicating progress.
· Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to broaden and lengthen relationships, creating multifaceted partnerships.
· Work closely with the communications team to create clear partnership communication plans and ensure corporate fundraising press opportunities are maximised and the impact is communicated clearly to the partner company.
· Achieve agreed financial and non-financial targets, to include partnership income and stewardship goals.
· Work proactively with employees at all levels within the companies you are supporting to identify and maximise potential income, both within and beyond the partnership terms.
Support the Partnership Development Manager (PDM) and Senior Partnership Development Manager (SPDM) in the onward development and implementation of the corporate fundraising strategy for ARUK, to increase the team’s income.
· Work with the PDM to ensure that the most appropriate use is made of internal and external contacts to support the work of ARUK, creating and maximising networking, influencing and engagement opportunities.
· Ensure new business prospects within partnerships are identified and passed to the New Business Team.
· Undertake project work as requested by the PDM to increase engagement with ARUK from within our corporate partners and develop ARUKs offering to our partners.
· Setting a best-in-class example for the wider team in all aspects of your role.
Represent the charity professionally in a high-level corporate context
· When representing the charity externally, influence and engage external contacts at all levels to maximise corporate fundraising potential.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments within the dementia research field.
· Communicate confidently about the research we are funding and dementia/ARUK more broadly. Including presenting to large audiences.
Line Management
· Line Management of a Partnership Development Executive (PDE); driving the success of this post through effective and inspiring leadership to ensure a highly motivated and efficient support function to help the team achieve targets.
· Delegate workload from across the team to the PDE, ensuring they are supporting both the New Business and Partnership Development functions.
· Oversee the PDE’s targets and objectives.
· Ensure the PDE is meeting all team and charity SLAs.
· Line management of any temporary administrative staff recruited to assist with specific projects.
What we are looking for:
· Building and growing high-level relationships through networking, negotiation and influence both internally and externally.
· Confidence working with computers; knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Ability to ensure effective reporting with partnerships when tracking charity income via various sources including our CRM system.
· Ability to independently manage projects from beginning to end.
· Excellent account management and relationship management skills in either a charity or corporate role; transferable sales or marketing skills also relevant.
· Good planning, prioritisation and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability and confidence to present to corporate audiences.
· You work well as part of a team but are proactive and can work independently.
· A confident and friendly manner; would feel at ease representing the charity to high-level external contacts.
· Creativity, innovation and resourcefulness to identify opportunities within partnerships and develop tailored fundraising ideas and initiatives.
· Willingness and ability to travel independently in the UK and to work outside of regular office hours when needed.
Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.
Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals. This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

We are seeking an experienced fundraiser to equip our organisation with the financial resources needed to meet our objectives. The post-holder will lead on growing our charitable income across all funding streams, maximising supporter engagement and fulfilling operational duties, such as overseeing a fit-for-purpose database.

Inspired by Pan-African civil rights leader Queen Mother Moore, our founders established Black Cultural Archives in 1981 with a mission to create Britain's first archive-museum dedicated to representing the culture and history of Black people in Britain. THE ROLE
The Fundraising Manager will be responsible for leading the London team’s overall fundraising strategy and activities. The role requires the postholder to motivate and support their team, and ensure regional and individual fundraising targets are met, in alignment with Islamic Help’s fundraising strategy. - Develop tailored proposals and presentations for high-value donors and strategic partners.

- Develop and manage the fundraising budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

- Identify and establish local, national, and international partnerships for joint fundraising initiatives.
- Expand Islamic Help’s capabilities through strategic collaborations, increasing access to expertise, skills, and donor bases.
- Represent Islamic Help at various external events and meetings, acting as an ambassador for the organisation.
- Uphold and promote the values and mission of Islamic Help in all professional interactions.
- Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

About the Role
KHULA Education is seeking an experienced and dynamic fundraising leader to lead KHULA’s fundraising and communication efforts in the UK and South Africa. The postholder will join us at an exciting time and help us to continue our growth trajectory which has seen our annual budget increase from £250,000 to £1 million in the past several years. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial individual with strategic vision who will play an active part in developing KHULA’s future fundraising strategy. 70% of the role is focused on fundraising directly for our work, 30% on managing KHULA’s communications including donor newsletters and social media content (this may evolve with the recruitment of an Officer).
Key Responsibilities
- Steward, retain and grow the support of our existing donor portfolio: KHULA has an existing portfolio of donors including trusts, foundations, corporates, major donors, individual and regular givers, the majority of whom are based in the UK or South Africa. The post holder is responsible for managing these relationships, including bespoke reporting for trusts and major donors, leading donor meetings and involving our Board and CEO as appropriate.
- Donor prospecting and new business: researching and generating new donor leads as well as acting on opportunities provided by our Board and others, converting prospects into supporters of our programmes.
- External communications: creating our quarterly e-newsletter to a database of ~2,000 supporters, managing our social media channels and the Annual Report, in addition to other ad hoc external communications.

Person Specification
Ideally you’ll have held a role with a similar scope of responsibilities around fundraising and communications, however you don’t need to have held a director level role before. Experience in a smaller charity and team is beneficial as you’ll need to be comfortable with both the strategic development side and inputting into wider planning, as well as being a leader who is willing to role up your sleeves and ‘do’.
We are particularly interested to hear from candidates who demonstrate most/all of the following attributes:
- A proven track record of personally delivering income of at least £1 million per year, including new business

Appeer is a Community Interest Company (CIC) set up to deliver services that support autistic girls and women (and those assigned female at birth) to connect with peers, to develop their life/work skills and to support their wellbeing. About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Reprieve’s small, collaborative and dynamic fundraising team to help manage and grow our grants income, with a focus on trusts and foundations, and statutory donors.
Reprieve is fortunate to have the support of many long-standing funders who believe fervently in our mission, and in Reprieve’s ability to drive change. Working with the Head of Development, you will take ownership of relationships, build strong partnerships with donors, and harness opportunities to add value, and deepen our collaborations. Working collegiately with Reprieve’s incredible casework and finance teams, with our brilliant fellows and partners across the world, and with our impressive trustees, is key to success. You will also be a critical thinker, able to understand Reprieve’s needs and to help design and deliver grants that suit and enable our high-impact, highly strategic and often reactive work. You will also have excellent drafting skills, ensuring accuracy and clarity, while translating sometimes highly technical language into engaging content for a donor audience. Location, contract and salary
This is a full-time role, permanent contract. The annual salary is £40,964 full-time per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance. After 2 years of service, the post-holder can expect to progress to a higher salary in line with Reprieve’s pay scale and salary increase for those on the Officer level.
This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 2 days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. Applicants must have theright to work in the UK currently and for the duration of the contract.

About the role
At Breast Cancer Now, we’re seeking a Senior Press & PR Officer to join our ambitious press, PR & celebrity team for 12 months. The role is focused primarily on the charity’s Fundraising portfolio, including our corporate partnerships and high-value fundraising events, all of which raise vital funds that help the charity to deliver world-class research and provide life-changing support for anyone affected by breast cancer.
About you
As an excellent communicator, you’ll be great at building trusted and influential relationships across a range of stakeholders including colleagues, journalists, external partners and advocates and ambassadors of Breast Cancer Now. This will help you bring our work to life, working collaboratively and effectively and at pace.
With significant experience in developing and delivering impactful PR campaigns, either in-house or in an agency, you’ll tell powerful stories around our fundraising activity to achieve cut-through in the media and drive further engagement and support (including financial) from our key audiences.
Always putting the patient voice at the heart of our work, you’ll be innovative and creative in your approach to secure maximum profile for annual events and campaigns, building on previous years’ successes and bringing fresh angles to this work to maximise engagement with the media and key audiences.
With strong written skills and an instinct for what makes a good news story, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced press office, and always consider how content can be integrated and delivered across communications channels for greatest impact.

Growing Hope is a charity providing free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in partnership with local churches across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus.
Growing Hope was founded in December 2017 and has a vision to see 20 clinics set up across the UK by 2030. We have three clinics, King’s Cross, Brockley and High Wycombe, and we are currently setting up a forth clinic in Redbridge. Each clinic is a local CIO which runs in partnership with Growing Hope and the local church. We have worked with over 700 children, young people, parents, carers and siblings since we launched. As a national charity Growing Hope has trained over 1000 professionals & parents. We are continuing to expand, with the set-up of further local clinics on the horizon.
Growing Hope seeks a highly-motivated and experienced Director of Growth who is passionate about our mission. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and develop our Fundraising, Communications, Marketing and Clinic Growth functions. This will provide support for Growing Hope to continue making a tangible difference in the world and ensure the charity’s long-term sustainability and growth. This role will report to the CEO of the charity and will work closely as part of the Senior Leadership team. The Director of Growth will have oversight of Fundraising, Communications, Marketing and Clinic Growth within the charity. This will involve line management of the Fundraising Manager who oversees a small team including a Communications Officer (1.0FTE), Design and Campaigns Officer (0.6FTE) and Supporter Engagement Officer (0.6FTE). The charity has a vision to champion accessibility UK wide and to set up twenty clinics in partnership with local churches by 2030, there’s a current pipeline in progress to achieve this. As the charity grows we want to ensure that we have strong financial strategy and growth plans which enable us to achieve our vision. As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with strategic planning and management. The role will be based in King’s Cross with occasional events outside of the office. We envisage the focus of the role to be split with a 40% focus on income generation, 20% on Clinic Growth and 20% on brand, marketing and PR, all aspects of the role will include leadership and management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will be discussed and developed as the charity continues to grow, but will include:
Leadership and Management:
- Working as part of the Senior Leadership team to strategically support the running of the charity.
- Providing line management for the Fundraising Manager, Executive Assistant and other potential members of the team as the charity grows.
- Leading and participating in prayer and worship with the team in line with Growing Hope’s Christian values.
- Ownership of income raising of £710,000 for the national charity with a view to growth each year. In addition to this an income of approximately £100,000 for each local clinic and ensuring that income targets are met across the national and local charities.
Fundraising Strategy & Finance:
- Lead the development and execution of long-term financial plans in close alignment with the charity’s strategic goals from a Fundraising perspective.
- Reporting monthly to the Growing Hope senior team and trustee board on income, forecasts and plans to hit income targets.
- Manging the fundraising, marketing and communications budget lines.
- Oversee the process of forecasting and planning income for analysis of the leadership team and Board of Trustees.
- Support fundraising strategy development and long term planning for growth.
- Explore and implement strategies for ensuring best use of charitable funds, and maintaining financial sustainability.
- Explore and implement innovative strategies to ensure that Growing Hope are raising funds as effectively as possible at both a national and a local level.
Marketing and Communication:
- Overseeing and developing Marketing and Communication strategy across the charity, including PR development, socials and internal and external communications.
- Oversight of projects and campaigns running across Growing Hope.
- Promoting the Growing Hope brand both internally and externally.
- Developing strategies to support staff with understanding and working to the Growing Hope values.
- Oversight of marketing and advertising on behalf of the charity.
- Analysing key marketing performance metrics and using tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to formulate actionable insights for the marketing team.
- Formulating unique insights to understand the stakeholders from a marketing perspective.
- Using marketing insights to contribute towards the overall business strategy.
Clinic Growth:
- Supporting the Senior Leadership Team with strategic oversight of the clinic growth process and the vision for twenty clinics by 2030.

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working in the charity sector, an interest in additional needs and inclusion are highly desirable.
ESSENTIAL
This role has an Occupational Requirement to be a Christian, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1, of the Equality Act 2010.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in fundraising and strategically achieving income targets.
- Experience in marketing and communication.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a charity or non-profit setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong working knowledge of HR, finance, IT, risk management and governance best practices.
- A collaborative leadership style and willingness to be a hands-on team player.
- Exceptional problem solving, analytical thinking and decision making abilities.
- Deep commitment and passion for the mission and values of Growing Hope.
DESIRABLE
