We are currently looking for a Media, PR & Digital Manager to join our team.
About the role
The Media, PR & Digital Manager leads and supports the delivery of flexible, cost-effective and class-leading media, marketing, and digital communications. This role ensures MSSC achieves its objectives across campaigns, fundraising and policy through targeted and effective profile building in the media and across multiple online platforms.
The post holder will manage media communications activities, delivered in-house or outsourced as appropriate, to meet the needs of MSSC while maintaining the charity’s image, values and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
Media & Public Relations
- Proactively explore national and regional opportunities for media coverage, establishing effective media links to raise the profile of the organisation.
- Lead and coordinate integrated media campaigns alongside digital marketing efforts for maximum impact and coverage.
- Support communication with MSSC’s internal and external stakeholders on sensitive media matters.
Marketing & Digital Communications
- Manage and coordinate the use of digital channels, including intranets, websites and social media.
- Lead the development and support of the DAMS (Marketing Hub) to facilitate effective brand and campaign management.
- Contribute to the production of high-quality, on-brand marketing materials, ensuring they meet deadlines and engage target audiences.
- Assist with website development and paid digital marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain MSSC’s social media channels and other digital communication platforms.
Requirements
- Degree graduate or equivalent and experience in a communications environment.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Experience in developing and maintaining good working relations with journalists and media specialists.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Digital Acquisition Executive to join our growing Individual Giving Team within Public Fundraising at Prostate Cancer Research. This is a pivotal new role, offering huge potential to shape the future of IG at PCR and capitalise fully on our exciting growth trajectory.
The last 12 months have seen significant transformation within our IG fundraising, with our regular giving base more than trebling. Building on this momentum, and campaigns such as last year's successful prostate cancer screening petition and our increased campaigning and public relations footprint. We are committed to strong investment in supporter experience and a genuine relationship-based approach to fundraising, ensuring all our supporters feel valued and exceptionally well-cared for. This role will be instrumental in driving continued expansion through digital channels, including paid social and email, with significant scope to identify and implement new, innovative, or novel acquisition strategies. You will be key to growing our supporter base and maximising their lifetime value through engaging digital stewardship and carefully crafted supporter journeys. Lead generation and conversion, cross-selling, and the development and management of these journeys will all be significant aspects of this role. Key Responsibilities
Digital Acquisition and Fundraising

Develop and implement acquisition campaigns and activity to attract new supporters through social platforms, both paid and unpaid, search engine advertising, and email marketing. As well as novel and innovative platforms and opportunities as identified.

Analyse metrics and data, reporting on KPI’s, budget and spend, and work to constantly test and optimise campaigns to exceed targets and improve return on advertisement spend / return on investment.

Hold a good working knowledge of key aspects of data protection law including GDPR and PECR, and the Fundraising Code of Practice.

Skills and Competencies
Our ideal candidate would have the following:

Proven experience in digital acquisition for charity or social cause, or in paid digital marketing or advertising in commercial roles. With demonstrable campaign management experience and expertise setting up and managing campaigns in Meta business suite, Google paid advertising and email marketing.

Evidence of leading successful digital / integrated digital campaigns leading to significant sales/income/lead generation.

The ability to monitor and manage income and expenditure against targets as well as forecast and report on digital campaigns across all channels.

Marketing
• Oversee all paid Facebook advertising activity for events, updating web listings, and utilising our networks

Customer service and member engagement
- Serve as a key point of contact for all member enquiries, providing an exceptional service
- Ensure a positive experience for new and existing members with engaging communications, including regular newsletters and lifecycle campaigns
- Organise and host events, webinars, and other member engagement activities to foster community
Database and process management
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate membership database (CRM) and an internal super-user
- Track membership renewals, payments, and communication preferences
- Analyse membership data to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and areas for improvement
- Oversee membership billing, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collection efforts
- Monitor membership revenue and work with the finance team to report on financial performance

- Experience of working in membership or relevant customer-facing role

Join the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) as our E-learning Project Manager for the Radiology Integrated Training Initiative (R-ITI) — and help shape the future of radiology education across the UK and beyond.
We’re redeveloping one of the most respected radiology e-learning programmes in the world — R-ITI — and we need a driven, strategic and organised Project Manager to bring it to life.
In this 18-month fixed-term role, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of over 300 digital learning modules. You’ll collaborate with the Learning Development Manager, the Learning Technologist and the e-learning faculty comprising Subject Matter Experts (SMEs – who are doctors) while undertaking the project to relaunch these essential resources on our new Learning Management System (LMS).
You’ll not only be supporting radiologists in their professional development but you’ll also play a key role is helping ensure the offering is financially sustainable, enabling us to reinvest in growing our influence and impact globally.
What you’ll do
- Oversee the entire life cycle of selected R-ITI modules marked for redevelopment, from establishing SME groups to review and update content, to working with learning technology colleagues to produce and publish them on time and within budget on RCR’s LMS.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and objectives and provide support to the working groups whilst they redevelop the modules.
- Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Be responsible for overall quality control of newly developed content by working collaboratively with SMEs and learning technology colleagues to create accurate, engaging and effective e-learning content for our members.
- Lead cross-functional teams consisting of SMEs, internal or externally sourced e-learning developers, designers, and quality assurance testers.
- Be the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing necessary support, troubleshooting queries and ensuring strategically sound decisions are made.
- Manage project budgets and promptly report any potential spending variances to the Learning Development Manager.
What you’ll need
- Excellent project management skills with evidence of delivering complex projects to the highest of standards, on time and on budget
- Experience of working with busy stakeholders, especially those who work on a voluntary basis
- Experience of developing e-learning content and working with digital learning platforms
- Experience of collaborating with doctors or other medical professionals would be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills to help negotiate, solve problems, and share knowledge with all stakeholders where needed
