We are seeking a Senior Corporate Engagement Manager, responsible for developing and overseeing the School’s relations with business and external third parties (public sector and not-for-profits). This is a key member of the team, responsible for building and nurturing relationships with external partners in the UK and internationally to deliver on LSE’s 2030 Strategy. We are seeking someone with experience of developing projects and funding proposals with corporate partners and/or an understanding of the nature of business partnerships.

Candidates should have solid experience of working in business relations, ideally within a not-for-profit or public sector environment, and with a strong track record of delivering fundraising/income generation or other mutually beneficial partnerships. You should be able to navigate complex relationships and have the drive and tenacity to negotiate and see through partnerships through to completion. We are seeking a self-reliant, motivated and collegiate individual who is a good team player, able to build positive relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. You should be creative and resourceful, able to spot opportunities and be innovative in your approach, as well as have strong communication skills to persuade and bring others along with you.

Overall purpose

The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for developing, leading and implementing key aspects of our communications and engagement strategy. Your focus will be to maintain our high reputation and build engagement with key audiences – principally target public audiences, corporate partners, funders and supporters, volunteers, clients, and staff. 

Bridging the gap between senior leadership and delivery, you will be a confident and strategic thinker, but remain excited by the challenge of getting stuck in. You will be comfortable supporting colleagues to deliver activity as well as working independently on your own projects. You will have the knowledge and experience to ensure that the right policies, frameworks and plans are in place for our small team to achieve ambitious plans.

The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for campaigns, PR, content and storytelling, brand and creative, and plays an integral role in internal communications. They also support other external engagement activities, such as digital marketing campaigns, corporate partner acquisition and retention, and public fundraising.

Strong copywriting is essential for this role. You will be able to write, edit, and tailor content for different audiences, and publish it across various channels, including the website, social media, emails, and marketing materials. 

You will enjoy variety. Your day could involve operational planning, developing a new campaign, briefing freelancers and agencies, finding compelling stories, creating our Impact Report, speaking with journalists, working on internal communications, or drafting social media posts.

The successful candidate will have strong emotional intelligence, relationship building and negotiation skills. They will be collaborative and creative, drive projects forward, work effectively alongside the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, and bring people together across the organisation. They will provide supportive, effective management to the Communications and Campaigns Officer, and be an internal advocate for the impact our Communications and Engagement can have.

Purpose of the job 

This role is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to join the UK Youth Fundraising team. UK Youth already works with a broad range of exciting corporate partners, including Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, KFC, Burger King and RSA Insurance. Key responsibilities

• Lead and secure income from new corporate organisations and achieve new business targets
• Identify new corporate opportunities to add to the new business corporate pipeline
• Pro-actively engage new businesses using a range of methods: e.g. working with senior stakeholders, events, networking, cold calls, emails, LinkedIn
• Develop and strengthen warm relationships with prospective funders and find opportunities to engage them in the work of UK Youth

Experience we're after

• Demonstratable experience in a sales or corporate fundraising role, working on six – seven figure proposals

Working closely with the Senior Employment Services Manager, you will take ownership of delivery within this region and lead on the delivery of the contract, including maintaining effective external stakeholder relationships and providing accurate and timely reporting. You will line manage and support a team of Employment Advisers (“Advisers”), enabling them to provide high-quality support to clients and coordinate the day-to-day operational activity which keeps our programmes running.

You are a highly organised and effective worker who knows when to adopt a creative approach and when to follow the established process. You will have an empathetic manner, be willing to go the extra mile to support clients and be proactive in looking for ways to improve our service. Lived experience would be helpful but is not essential.  

In addition to exceptional people skills, you will be a strong communicator and possess meticulous attention to detail. You will be confident working autonomously, helped by excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and cope with interruptions.

You should have at a demonstrable track record of transferrable work experience in coordinating service delivery, projects or programmes, or another relevant field. Equally important is a demonstrable commitment to working with marginalised populations who face barriers to employment, particularly refugees. This is an exciting opportunity for a Trust Fundraising Manager with proven experience, to maximise income for Whizz Kidz services from Trusts and Foundations through researching new funding opportunities, creating high quality applications with Service staff and stewarding existing warm funders effectively. 

The Role

As Trust Fundraising Manager you will secure new funding opportunities and work on a pool of warm and cold charitable Trusts with a focus on the £10,000 to £40,000 range.  The role involves researching and qualifying prospects, submitting high quality funding applications and stewarding existing donors effectively. It will also involve managing reporting deadlines and matching potential donors to projects needing to be fundraised for, collaborating with our Service Teams. 

You will prepare applications and reports to trusts and foundations, in line with funder deadlines, keeping in touch with donors and prospects via phone, virtually and face to face. You will match potential donors with projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach.

The person

You will have experience of: Securing funding from Trusts with excellent writing and presentation skills; Solid prospect research skills to identify new funding opportunities and maintain a forward pipeline of applications; Of working collaboratively with Service Teams to package and cost project areas; Stewardship of warm funders including preparing donor reports, reviewing financial reports and gathering case studies. You will also have strong time management skills with ability to manage and prioritise your workload and ideally experience of using a CRM for Trust Fundraising.

We are looking for a Senior Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser for an inspiring social welfare charity to support the Major Giving and Events Manager with the development and delivery of the charitys corporate partnerships programme with responsibility for account
managing Partners and developing a pipeline of new business.

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week in the Hampshire office.

The Charity
An inspiring and passionate charity dedicated to helping those most in need from elderly care to mental health with a vision is to ensure individuals and families are always valued and supported. The Role
Confidently manage a six-figure corporate income budget, securing income from new corporate partners through
written applications and pitches.

Account manage product partnerships and Partners ensuring contracts and agreements are honoured and a first-class stewardship experience is delivered.

Organise opportunities for corporate contacts to engage with the charitys work first-hand, including face to face meetings and events.

Take responsibility for researching and developing strategies to enhance existing portfolio of small to medium commercial partnerships.

The Candidate

Previous experience in an account management role developing, securing and retaining corporate and commercial partnerships and new business through effective and confident relationship building in a similar fundraising or sales role.

Demonstrable knowledge of the principles of charity/corporate partnerships, both account management and new business.

We are looking for a Corporate Performance and Reporting Manager in our Clerk of the Parliament’s Office at the House of Lords. This is an exciting opportunity to use your strong analytical skills and flair for communicating and engaging a range of stakeholders, to drive progress against our strategic objectives and report on our performance.

This is a hybrid working opportunity where you will work on-site at Parliament 3 days per week, with 2 days per week working remotely. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys working with varied and high volumes of data, can build strong relationships across a large organisation and can work in a fast-paced, unique environment.

You’ll be accountable for –

• Acting as operational lead for the Administration’s approach to corporate performance management, including the implementing and reviewing of the House’s performance management framework.
• Building partnerships with Heads of Office, service leads and others across the House to embed, co-ordinate and continuously improve performance metrics and baseline performance.
• Providing a leading voice in the co-production of the quarterly performance report to the Management Board and Finance Committee.
• Embedding performance measuring and reporting approaches that meet the best functional standards, using a range of management data to provide accessible and actionable insights.
• Working with other colleagues across Parliament to help to ensure that other performance monitoring processes allow for comparison.
• Working with Parliamentary Digital Service, and the House of Commons to develop common practices for Corporate Performance Management across Parliament.

What we’re looking for

• Corporate Performance Management knowledge including relevant experience of corporate performance management and corporate governance processes.
•  Strong Analytical Skills including the ability to gather and interpret complex information from a range of sources with differing data quality, visualising data to present the data in a meaningful way to both technical & non-technical audiences.
• Communication Skills such as the ability to find accessible, insightful and creative ways to present data in order to support the production of timely, credible and concise reports through a range of delivery modes.
• Building stakeholder relationships, with experience of developing effective working relationships and working collaboratively across a range of stakeholders in a complex environment, including with senior managers.
• Personal effectiveness with excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage your own time and deal effectively with conflicting demands.
• Organisation and forward planning including experience of planning schedules of work and liaising with others to ensure deadlines are set, maintained, and met.
