About you 

As our Senior Partnership Development Manager, you will be responsible to secure strategic, multi-year corporate partnerships that align with Save the Children's organisational goals and our 2030 vision. You will work cross-functionally with Programmes, Advocacy, and Marketing teams to craft innovative propositions that meet corporate interests while maximising the full value of their contributions – both financial and non-financial.

In this role, you will: 

• Contribute to our team's annual target of £4 million by securing high-value corporate partnerships. 

• Optimise financial and non-financial support from corporate partners, leveraging their resources for maximum impact. 

• Create and implement ambitious sector strategies, delivering bespoke partnership proposals that address corporate challenges and opportunities. 

• Proactively identify and engage with potential partners, expanding your network and attending external events to generate new business leads. 

• Produce high-quality, tailored proposals that resonate with business interests while advancing Save the Children's mission. 

• Support a thriving business development environment by mentoring peers and maintaining high standards within the team. 

To be successful, it is important that you have: 

• Significant experience of securing ambitious, multi-dimensional corporate partnerships in the private or third sector. 

• Demonstrable experience of the approach needed to win partnerships of £500k and above. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include face-to-face and on the phone, effective proposal writing and correspondence to internal and external audiences. 

• The ability to think creatively and to develop tailor made proposals to meet corporate and Save the Children objectives. 

• The ability to build relationships and influence others internally and externally.

As Senior Individual Giving Fundraiser, you’ll work as part of the Public Fundraising team responsible for managing a portfolio of Individual Giving campaigns from inception through to evaluation to generate funds, improve engagement and increase life-time value of existing supporters.

The Senior Public Affairs and Research Officer will drive policy change to increase surplus food redistribution by engaging with stakeholders across government, media, industry, and academia. They will support FareShare’s public affairs strategy by producing well-researched briefings, organizing impactful events, and fostering relationships with key partners.

FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations. The Senior Public Affairs and Research Officer will be critical in advancing FareShare’s policy agenda, as outlined in the manifesto. Working closely with the Public Affairs, Policy and Campaigns Consultant, you will lead efforts to engage influential stakeholders, create compelling content, and coordinate high-impact events. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence national policy and contribute to meaningful change in the food redistribution sector.

Key responsibilities 

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies, media, and academia, to advance FareShare’s policy objectives.

Policy, Research, and Briefings: Develop in-depth policy knowledge and produce well-researched briefings and reports articulating FareShare’s policy goals. Identify opportunities for FareShare to feed into Government consultations and Select Committees.

Events: Support the planning and execution of public affairs events, including parliamentary engagements and engagement with industry conferences.

This role sits within the Digital Section in the Communications Directorate, reporting into the Digital Marketing & Fundraising Manager. You will work within an ambitious and passionate digital team and across the organisation to develop our holistic digital strategy through the oversight and management of digital channels, plans, and schedules, and by implementing the plans as well as empowering the teams to manage their own digital campaigns.

The post holder will also provide training to teams as part of our objective to upskill the organisation. The post holder will also be responsible for finding opportunities to generate leads and push new and innovative ideas.

You will have experience of using digital marketing and fundraising techniques with a test and learn approach, including social, PPC, display and email.

As Senior Marketing Business Partner your role will be to support the development, delivery and optimisation of the paid marketing strategy across a variety of campaigns at a leading Children’s Charity in the UK. About the role

The University of London’s Development Office is responsible for delivering philanthropic support for the strategic fundraising priorities of the University.
