The Principal Learning Lead will play a leading role in developing and delivering Frontline’s Approach Social Work programme, a fast-track master’s in social work and our internal Consultant Social Worker programme.
The role ensures that evidence-informed learning methods underpin the design and delivery of teaching. You will define and uphold high teaching and learning standards, incorporating the latest research, trends, and technologies. Working closely with the Curriculum, Delivery, and Digital Learning teams, as well as external contributors, you will ensure that programmes are cohesive, accessible, and inclusive, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to work effectively with children and families.
Your role will take the lead in embedding and evolving our Quality Standards for Teaching and Learning and acting as a champion for this work across our programmes. You will work alongside the Head of Curriculum, Principal Curriculum Leads and Principal Practice Tutors to ensure a high quality, effective learning experience for our participants. You are responsible for successfully incorporating best practice in pedagogy, through the provision of training, guidance and quality assurance activities across teams.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Leading the design and development of an innovative and evidence-informed curriculum which aligns with academic and statutory standards at master’s level.
- Providing guidance and training to curriculum and delivery colleagues on effective pedagogical strategies.
- Promoting active, inclusive, and participant centred learning approaches
- Engaging in institutional and national networks on higher education pedagogy

A little bit about you
We are looking for an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching and learning. They should be passionate about advancing social work education through innovative curriculum design and evidence-based teaching. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, collaborative leader, and critical thinker who stays at the forefront of pedagogical research. The Workforce and Careers Co-ordinator is a very important role at the College as you will work on a set of projects with the overall goal of ensuring the provision of the necessary paediatric medical workforce to deliver an excellent standard of service for children and young people in the UK.
As Workforce and Careers Co-ordinator, you will support the Workforce Manager on scoping tasks for relevant projects in line with the departmental operational plan, including creating project plans and defining activities and milestones, whilst ensuring good project management principles, including project deliverables, are adhered to through effective budget, time and risk control.
Taking the lead on allocated Workforce and Careers projects, you will strategise, research and collaborate with internal teams, Workforce Planning Board representatives and external bodies as required, whilst regularly liaising with the Policy teams for both England and the Devolved Nations to ensure all Workforce and Careers output is aligned with College messaging and advocacy.
You will also support the Workforce Manager and Data Analyst on data-based analysis and report writing where necessary, providing regular updates and presenting project progress and/or final output to senior colleagues and the Workforce Planning Board and other Committees and groups where appropriate.
With a good standard of education, you should have experience of working in a research or policy-oriented or a regulated environment, ideally in a health or education related area and have a proven ability to work collaboratively.
You should have an awareness of the principles of effective project management, risk mitigation, risk management and governance, and be able to oversee and/or manage committees.
Your excellent research and written skills and ability to develop ideas into workable projects will ensure you are capable of producing data-based or guidance-based reports. You should also have outstanding interpersonal skills and be able to present information, verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner, with excellent attention to detail.
With excellent communication, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills you will be capable of supporting committees and other governance structures, particularly supporting the delivery of new processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Experience of working with healthcare professionals or children’s services personnel, along with experience in qualitative data analysis and facilitating focus groups, would be desirable.

Job Purpose
As Project Manager for the BSR registers you will ensure the continued success of BSR’s biologics and biosimilars registers and support BSR’s Registers and Research Committee. About the BSR registers: The BSR registers are a vital source of rheumatology data, which we encourage the rheumatology community to access and analyse for research purposes. BSR’s three active patient registers covering rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis are open for recruitment. Our ankylosing spondylitis register, although closed for recruitment, is available to access for academic research and is contributing data to research questions coming out of the EuroSpA research collaboration.
Main Responsibilities
Management of the BSR registers
- Hold overall responsibility for management of the BSR registers including all legal, contractual and financial matters
- Work with BSR’s delivery partners and registers funders to ensure that contracts, protocols and other agreements are implemented, upheld and administered effectively
- With support from the Head of Publishing and Director of Practice and Quality, negotiate, agree and manage contractual agreements with partners and funders
- Proactively and diplomatically manage contractual and legal risks and issues as they arise

The Girls’ Network aspires to reach more girls and increase the impact we have, so the importance of a strategic, effective and evidence-based monitoring and evaluation system is paramount. The Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning (MERL) Manager will ensure thoughtful, intelligent and consistent collection, collation and analysis of data which has the potential to publicly represent our girls’ needs and their aspirations.
Key roles and responsibilities
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
- Develop and employ monitoring systems to support high-quality programme implementation.
- Maintain and employ existing data-collection and evaluation systems to evaluate past and ongoing programmes.
- Calculate impact indicators and support data-driven organisational decision- making.
- Management of our CRM systems to support the Fundraising Team with monitoring of their application pipelines.
- Further the organisation’s current potential to meaningfully contribute to public discourse on the experience of teenage girls in the UK, on social mobility, and on the future of women’s leadership using available and newly created resources, data and insights.
- Develop the above evaluation and research into recommendations; working with the team and independently to inform and plan the creation and implementation of a monitoring system for our impact process, based on evaluation findings, industry research, and overall strategy and objectives.

Reporting
- Prepare and present status reports for grant-giving bodies (such as The Millby Foundation) according to the requirements of the grant.

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and dynamic individual to join the College’s Research and Innovation team. Are you an excellent problem solver, naturally curious and a skilled analyst and/or researcher? Do you want to help inform the solutions to the challenges facing general practice and our NHS? You will have strong data analysis and visualisation skills, attention to detail and experience of using analysis software (such as Excel, Power BI and R) and ability to draw out meaningful and accessible insights to inform policy and practice.
General practice is the largest branch of the medical profession, and the bedrock of the health service, providing more than a million patient consultations every day. The Policy, Research and Campaigns team is an ambitious and influential team working to understand the challenges facing general practice, to develop policy and practical solutions to these, and influence government at the highest levels to deliver positive change for our members and the health service.
The Senior Research Analyst is responsible for ensuring RCGP’s policy and external affairs activity is supported by strong and credible data and evidence. This will include working with a range of teams and partners, undertaking primary and secondary research and analysis, and commissioning and managing external research suppliers.
If you are a driven, collaborative problem-solver, with strong analytical skills, a demonstrable understanding of research methods, excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail, and you are looking for a varied role where you will quickly be able to offer real value and impact, then this is the role for you.
