About the role:
Working as a Senior Keyworker you will be responsible for supervising a small group of keyworkers, planned and ad-hoc supervision is an integral part of the Senior role, and you will be supporting keyworkers with monthly supervision and have oversight of safeguarding for the women they work with. You will be supporting the quality control for the region which will include dip-checks and data input.

You will have an in-depth knowledge of the range of needs and interventions required for women offenders. The ability to lead a small team to deliver inclusive, innovative and professional services. Do you have experience working with families and children aged 0-13, a good understanding of the needs of vulnerable families and a relevant vocational or academic qualification?
Welcare is recruiting an experienced Family Support Worker to deliver a broad-based preventative support service for families with children up to the age of 13 in partnership with schools, churches, the local authority and other agencies, in the London boroughs of Bromley and Greenwich. You will be delivering practical and emotional support to enhance the life chances of children who have experienced domestic abuse and social isolation through one-to-one support and group work programmes. General Duties:
1. To promote the programmes of work and manage the external and internal referral process including the assessment of need, risk and safeguarding concerns.
2. Hold a caseload of 4 families delivering “whole family” or targeted interventions.
3. Lead and facilitate community group work programmes including 6 #CapeAbility in Schools programme which aims to build resilience and self-esteem for children in key stage 2.
4. Lead and facilitate groupwork programmes for parents such Strengthening Families Strengthening Communities and Child Overcoming Domestic Abuse.
5. Safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults you work with directly and take appropriate action if escalation is needed.
6. To provide practical and emotional support to families or advocacy and signposting to specialist and universal services where appropriate.
7. Ensuring that the voices and views of children and young people are sought, heard and represented appropriately.
8. Attend designated meetings with multi-agency professionals and act as lead professional where appropriate to support the Team Around the Child/Family or Early Help Assessment (EHA).

Finance and Resources Manager (Full Time)
Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.
Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown. AAFDA’s prime function is to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.
As a growing charity, AAFDA is looking for an exceptional candidate to join our supportive team and lead our finance and resource management functions. The role will provide and manage the HR, administration and finance activities of the charity and sit within the Senior Leadership Team.

Job Purpose:
The Housing Options Officer will provide direct support to vulnerable young people, assisting them in moving toward independent living. This involves offering high-quality advice and guidance on housing options, benefits, budgeting, and life skills, all within a psychologically informed environment. The role requires collaboration with various external agencies to ensure that the diverse needs of the residents are met.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Housing Needs:
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and move-ins for potential residents in a timely manner, ensuring thorough inductions for new residents.
- Develop outcome-focused support plans and conduct needs and risk assessments.
- Provide benefit advice and guidance to residents, helping them maintain their accommodation and prevent rent arrears.

Other:

About this exciting opportunity
Our successful candidate will complete an Initial Needs Assessment, using a strength-based approach within agreed contractual timeframes, before dynamically assessing need and risk, alerting to changes that could indicate change in risk or serious harm, including personal safety and safeguarding. Main Roles
- To provide advice and casework at OISC Level 2/3 on immigration, nationality and asylum law.
- To provide supervision to Immigration Volunteer
Specific Duties
- Manage a complex caseload across the field of immigration, nationality and asylum law.
- Adhere to casework procedures as outlined in LRMN’s policies, the OISC and / or Solicitors Regulations Authority (SRA) standards and the Advice Quality Standards (AQS).
- Interview and advise clients regarding immigration and asylum law procedure, and practice in a sensitive and professional manner.
- Maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with OISC registration or similar professional body, e.g SRA.
- Keep up to date at all times with changes in the law by reading and attending training events relating to asylum and immigration.
- To maintain accurate and detailed case records of clients for the purpose of continuity of casework, information retrieval and statistical monitoring, using Advice Pro as appropriate and as required by management.
- Advocate on behalf of clients by telephone, letter and email with appropriate agencies.
- Produce reports to meet funder’s and LRMN requirements.
- Work closely with the Immigration Manager and/or external evaluator in gathering data and information to produce accurate monitoring and evaluation reports.
- To assist the LRMN in liaising with its partners, funders and to provide statistical information and updates as required.
- Work closely with the Immigration Manager in reviewing files and ensure that corrective actions are undertaken.
- Provide regular supervision to Iimmigration volunteers.
- Allocate immigration tasks appropriate volunteers’ knowledge and skills.
- Keep records of supervision meetings with immigration volunteers
Other Duties
- To participate in LRMN staff meetings, maintaining a high level of professionalism and contributing skills and knowledge towards best practice for the organisation.
- To develop partnerships and attend external meetings relevant to the work of information and advice in general and immigration in particular.
- To attend supervision and appraisal meetings and other relevant activities.
- To be administratively self-servicing.
- To participate in LRMN staff meetings, maintaining a high level of professionalism and contributing skills and knowledge towards best practice for the organisation.
- Work flexibly as agreed to meet the demands of the service – this may involve weekend and outreach work.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to the work of the organisation.
- Comply with LRMN’s policies and procedures.
- Positively promote LRMN and its work.
- Undertake any other work as may be reasonably requested.
