As Project Support Officer you will support the Area Manager and Regional Manager with volunteer recruitment, documentation of training, giving our volunteers a fantastic experience, guest outreach and giving extra support to our West Midlands projects as and when required to aid development and growth within the region.
Each of our Projects is run by Project Leaders (volunteer position) and supported by Regional Managers through recruitment and training of volunteers. You will support the Regional Managers so that they can manage more projects, knowing that you have helped with the embedding of volunteers, along with supporting expansion plans within their areas. This support could range from developing relationships with our food suppliers, researching local organisations to support with guest outreach, and recruiting new Project Leaders for the Area.
You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to talk confidently to external people about our Projects.You will also be a good organizer, with the ability to manage multiple tasks within multiple Projects. You will have a passion for food and cooking, and be committed to our objectives and ethics.
This role will require some attendance at our Community Meals projects, to support with delivery as necessary, which will include some evening and weekend work. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this exciting role.

About Richmond AID
Richmond AID offers 25 days annual leave plus eight bank holidays pro rata. Normal office hours are 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5pm on Fridays. The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day-to-day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front-line staff. Kinship is in the third year of delivering the first national peer support service for kinship carers in England. We have created 145 peer support groups. We have supported and trained kinship carers to create and lead their groups in a way which meets their needs.

- creating 90 new sustainable peer support groups in areas of most need over 21 months;
- sustaining and developing the current 145 existing groups; and

How this role fits into the vision and objectives of Causeway
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager focusing on our Outreach support across the Northwest. This purpose of this role is to manage and maintain high levels of service delivery. You will directly oversee four Coordinators. You will work with those Coordinators to ensure that; contractual KPI's are met, clients are supported effectively, staff are developed, and internal process and procedures are followed, to a high standard. Where required, you will also play a role in implementing service and system improvements
Responsibilities
- Oversight, line management, and support of Coordinators, incl. effective supervisions and yearly appraisals.
- Ensure all KPIs and service standards are met by staff incl. referrals, exits, paperwork submission.
- Use baseline, checklists, quality control and other systems to monitor and support effective service delivery.
- Ensure staff effectively carry out their roles, as per their job description.
- Manage service user or external complaints with the support of Senior Service Manager.
- Work with the other Service Managers, and all stakeholders to use, support and develop appropriate systems and processes, to ensure that services function effectively.
- Ensure all service users are being supported effectively, and assist Coordinators with problem-solving and managing incidents/safeguarding issues, where necessary
- Work in partnership with Safeguarding lead
- Ensure all staff are supported and managed effectively, incl. ensuring annual-leave/sickness/TOIL procedure is followed by Coordinators.
- Ensure appropriate lone-working safety procedures are implemented and developed ere required.
- Ensure all month-end procedure is followed by staff, and information submitted effectively.
- Oversight and regular monitoring of CMS (client-management-system).
- Maintain and develop local services and agency links, attending suitable networking meetings as requested.

- Communicate with the Salvation Army team where necessary.
- Work alongside P&C team to support Coordinators in managing or problem-solving any HR-related issues.

- To be ‘on-call’, out of hours approximately one week in four - managing and accepting referrals, and dealing with out-of-hours incidents.

You will be someone who is able to engage, motivate and work closely with diocesan staff, parish leaders and external partners to build strong relationships, foster a culture of sustainability, and develop a sense of momentum towards our aims of decarbonising our residential property portfolio and church buildings.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Influencing and supporting parishes to prepare and deliver their NZC action plans relating to their buildings.
· Support the Property Team to develop and implement a comprehensive NZC action plan for clergy housing.
· Developing relationships with technical specialists and potential funding agencies.
· Managing relationships and communications with a wide range of other stakeholders.
· Managing headline project data and tracking progress against the project delivery plan and providing regular, timely reports highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
· Ensuring all relevant risks are identified and mitigation actions are in place.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills include:
· Degree or equivalent (with a project management and/or a qualification relevant to NZC).
· Extensive experience of leading, co-ordinating and delivering complex projects.
· Experience of managing multiple stakeholder types in a complex programme context.
· Experience of delivering clear written communication across a range of formats.
· Up-to-date knowledge of environmental and climate change issues.
· Strong knowledge of project management techniques and processes, including governance, plan management, budget, risk, and issue management. ·
· Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to bring order to complex situations and find innovative ways of solving or pre-empting problems.
