We are looking for a standout relationship manager to join our fantastic team of fundraisers who work tirelessly to raise funds for Young Lives vs Cancer. A great personality and team ethic are really important in this role as you will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver a legendary experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.

The North West region (made up of Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside & Greater Manchester) is filled with some of our most committed supporters and there is so much opportunity to grow our supporter base across the region. Our Social Workers and Manchester Home from Home support families from across the region and beyond, and building relationships with this team is a must.

This role is responsible for managing and developing the charity’s community fundraising and trade revenues (target of £266,000 in 2024) and building significant engagement with community supporters and fundraisers. You will manage a committed team of two people in the Community and Trade team.

You will be responsible for raising awareness of our community fundraising programme and developing a ‘best-in-class’ stewardship programme that builds new and develops existing relationships with supporters, volunteer groups, organisations and partners to maximise income and raise the charity’s profile. You will also lead on the development and delivery of our 50th anniversary celebrations in 2025.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a stewardship programme that converts interest into support and maximises fundraised income whilst developing lasting relationships.
• Introduce fundraising opportunities to our existing and potential supporters through a multi-channelled marketing strategy to grow levels of engagement and participation.
• Grow non-monetary donations as part of the community fundraising portfolio of events.
• Support the Head of Fundraising in designing new and developing existing community fundraising opportunities
• Work with the Head of Fundraising to ensure all recording, banking and stewardship processes are up to date and working across the fundraising team, wider charity (finance, data and marketing and communications) and in accordance with current laws and regulations.
• Record all community and trade income and thank community donors and supporters as per the agreed process.
• Support company and corporate partnerships that utilise community and trade fundraising.
• Work with the Fundraising Team and wider organisation to develop an engaging and rewarding volunteering strategy across the charity.

Shelter Sheffield provide housing advice and support to people across the city, with a focus on emergency homelessness, intensive support for children and families, people experiencing domestic abuse and people with multiple and complex needs. We take a holistic approach to help people deal with interrelated issues that can impact their ability to keep a home and work for systemic changes to prevent homelessness.

About the role

The role of Team Leader is vital for the day-to-day management of the Hub to ensure the delivery of front-line services, contracts and projects. This role is in our Homelessness Prevention and Resettlement Service, with a particular focus on risk management and support for clients who have experienced domestic abuse. You will lead and supervise the staff and volunteer team to deliver high quality services, as well as supporting the Hub’s strategic lead and management team to deliver our local strategy. Everything you do will be working towards Shelter’s ultimate aim - that everyone has access to a safe and affordable home.

About the Role

Camden Kaleidoscope, located in London, is an innovative, specialist-supported accommodation service focusing on mental health and complex needs. As a Service Manager you will lead a dedicated team to provide trauma-informed mental health support to young people between ages 16-24, an understanding and/or experience of trauma-informed practice would be advantageous. In addition, you’ll manage and develop a dedicated staff team including mental health support workers, volunteers and students so previous experience in line management and working in Mental Health accommodation services (or equivalent) will be required.

The Digital Healthcare Manager is a new and exciting role at the College. This role will lead the development of the RCPCH Digital Health programme, aimed at understanding the range of technologies in use by the membership along with the digital confidence and competence of the membership through analysis of survey data. This analysis will help to provide details of key digital solutions for the workforce. The Digital Health programme will also support the workforce to embrace and implement digital health technologies into clinical practice.

As Digital Healthcare Manager, you will lead activities related to the integration of digital health technologies into mainstream paediatrics by participating in relevant Committees and working groups and reporting to Project Boards on the programme’s progress against agreed timelines, deliverables, risks and issues.

Based within the Research and Evidence team and reporting to the Head of Research and Evidence, you will work with colleagues internally and externally to embed digital skills into the paediatric workforce as well as developing education and training resources for paediatricians, to help build capacity and capability.

You will also work with the Head of Grants and Partnerships to identify sources of funding to support future work within the Research and Evidence remit and work with communications colleagues to create and implement communication plans and resources/assets related to the RCPCH Digital Health.

With a degree or equivalent experience with a research, health science or digital healthcare

component, you should have experience of producing high quality written reports, documentation and promotional information suitable for a range of audiences.

You should have experience of collaborative ways of working across multidisciplinary teams and programmes of work and have the ability to manage competing demands and conflicts whilst maintaining productive working relationships with stakeholders.

With excellent organisational skills and the ability to adopt an orderly and precise approach to work, paying careful attention to detail and capable of following standard procedures and ways of working, you should also have demonstrable programme management skills, being able to work autonomously and take personal responsibility for your projects.

Knowledge of research methodology, including literature searching and data analysis, along with a project management qualification and an understanding of the education and training pathways of paediatric healthcare professionals would also be desirable.

We are searching for a Peer Support Worker to join our mental health services. The role is a peer support worker, who would facilitate face to face and zoom groups, and help us with the smooth running of Mind BLMK services. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the recovery journey needed to improve mental health and wellbeing.

Our peer support and recovery services are a key element of the services we offer, and we are looking for someone who can use their own lived experiences to provide support to help individuals achieve their goals.

Service Delivery

• Support an existing peer led eco-therapy group to work towards self-sustainability
• Coordinate the service processing of client referrals, adding details to the data base and assessing client suitability by carrying out risk assessments.
• Support clients to access other services within Mind BLMK.
• Encourage and support client engagement with Mind BLMK through the influence and participation process, Guarantor Membership, and training opportunities.

About the role
As the Mental Health Hub Service Lead, you will collaborate with the Director of Children and Young People Services and Clinical Leads to drive the strategic growth and development of the organisation's services. Your key responsibilities will include designing and developing a new Mental Health Hub service, managing recruitment, training, quality and governance, supervising staff, reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and maintaining strong relationships with commissioners and other key stakeholders.
Responsibilities (but not limited to)

Lead the contractual relationship for the Children and Young People's Hub service.
* Ensure services meet contractual obligations through strategic oversight of quality, governance, resources, and performance.
* Triage young people and forward referrals to Clinical Wellbeing Practitioners and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners for assessment.
* Ensure that all staff within the team are aware of relevant policy and procedures and that communication is developed and deployed appropriately
* Support and develop the Children and Young People Services Directorate i.e., building a collaborative working environment and an innovative culture.
* To support and develop the Hub team to ensure the deliverables of the service requirements in a timely manner,
* To act as an ambassador for the organisation

About you
* Experience of management and supervision of staff within charity/non-profit
* Evidence of post-qualifying training demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development
* Able to manage and priorities a complex workload balancing organisational, and service led demands, to work under pressure, and be able to work quickly to complete tasks
* Experience of managing budgets
* Knowledge and experience of complex casework, risk management and care planning

Anticipated timeframe: Short term consultancy, up to 45 person days to be worked between 1 August to 15 September 2024 Location:Ghana

The 'Strengthening Civil Society Representation of Women with Disabilities in Ghana' programme commenced in May 2024, and is a 2-year project funded by the European Union. The project aims to strengthen the capacity for Organisations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), and in particular, organisations of women with disabilities in the areas of management, communication, fundraising, coordination, advocacy, gender, climate change, networking and financial accountability.

Sightsavers will build the capacity of two OPDs Women with Disability Development and Advocacy Organisation (WODAO), and the ABAK Foundation. WODAO and the ABAK Foundation will then cascade capacity building downstream to members and partners to strengthen their ability to claim their rights and hold duty bearers to account.

Sightsavers will be commissioning a consultant to conduct a GESI analysis in the 33 project districts in the Bono, Bono East, Ashanti, Oti and Volta regions.

Methodology

Please provide details of proposed methodologies and timelines. The assessment will need to cover, but not be limited to:

• Analysis of secondary sources of data on the inclusion of women and girls and persons with disabilities in development interventions in the districts.
• Gathering and analysing primary source of data to map trends that highlight risk factors that impede the participation of women with disabilities. The analysis should seek to understand the root causes of gender inequalities in the project districts.
• Make informed conclusions about potential opportunities including stakeholders who the CSO can collaborate with in the districts.

Output and Deliverables

The consultant is expected to produce the following.

• Proposal outlining how the consultancy will be conducted, including data collection tools and the timelines for delivering the consultancy.
• Report of desk review and other methodologies used.
• Final report outlining gendered and disability barriers and vulnerabilities that need to be addressed and their root causes.

Timeline

The consultancy is expected to take up to 45 working days from 1 August to 15 September 2024.

Sightsavers will welcome expressions of interest from qualified independent evaluators or consultancy companies. An individual or team with members located in Ghana would be preferred.

Consultant's expertise

• Demonstrable previous experience in gender, disability inclusion, and women's rights.
• Proven record of conducting GESI analysis or similar assessments and able to provide examples of reports.
• Previous execution of several consultancies for international organisations or national development organisations required
• Robust skills related to monitoring, evaluation, and research.

Payment Terms

To be discussed at interview stage between Sightsavers and the Consultant/Consultancy.

Consultants with a proven track record in the above will be procured to undertake the project through an expression of interest process. Payment terms will be agreed between the Consultant and Sightsavers.

Aquarius is a charity that helps people and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling. We are part of ‘One Recovery Buckinghamshire’ (ORB), a partnership between Inclusion (MPFT NHS Trust), Aquarius, and Build on Belief providing support for alcohol and drug issues across Buckinghamshire.

We are looking for three Complex Needs Practitioners (Recovery Worker) to join our team in Aylesbury.

The purpose of the role is to engage people in a variety of interventions, using a person centred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience and achieve positive outcomes.

All Complex Needs Practitioners (Recovery Worker) work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings. The caseload will include a mixture of community and multi-agency referral pathways including health and social care. You will join our caring multi-disciplinary teams, to help empower you to provide quality psychosocial interventions to our diverse client groups. 

A core part of the role will be working with people to address holistic support needs across all aspects of the person’s substance use and wellbeing. This could include diverse work related to physical and emotional health, meaningful use of time, family and relationships, community engagement and activites, accommodation, physical and emotional health, offending as well as substance use (drug use and / or alcohol use).

An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies).  Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. Experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and engaging effectively with clients in a variety of settings is essential. You’ll also need a flexible approach, excellent record keeping and report writing skills and a willingness to work flexibly across the community and within our multi-agency partnership settings, on an outreach basis, with a central hub base at our head office.

This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week.

National FASD is dedicated to supporting people with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), their families and communities. It promotes education for professionals and public awareness about the risks of alcohol consumption during pregnancy.  National FASD is a source for information on FASD to the general public, press and to medical, social care and educational professionals. 

Role purpose:

The organisation is going through a period of growth and needs a proactive, experienced financial/admin coordinator to help us ensure our financial oversight administration runs smoothly and efficiently as we grow the organisation. This person will work closely with our Chief Executive.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working with bookkeeper and accountants overseeing accounts, budgeting, financial reporting and management accounts 
• Preparing regular financial updates and other documentation for trustees' meetings
• Exploring ways to develop internal financial systems to sustain long-term growth
• Ensuring organisation meets reporting deadlines with HMRC, Charity Commission, Companies House

Person specification

The ideal candidate will be dynamic and creative, energised by the idea of contributing to a charity with an important mission. Candidates should be at ease with computers and budgeting, and be ready to work with a team of consultants, colleagues and like-minded organisations to ensure National FASD is implementing best practices financially and administratively with sensitivity for our key stakeholders and under the guidance of our trustees. 

Qualifications: 

• Preferably at least 3 years’ experience working in a related field, either in paid work or through volunteering
• DBS check is required

Knowledge:

•  Experience with FASD (or another neurodevelopmental condition) either through professional experience or lived experience is preferred
• Familiarity with the charitable/third sector

Skills, abilities, competencies:

• Ability to work independently and juggle several projects
• Must have experience using a range of computer programmes such as Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or an ability to easily learn new computer software

Essential Experience:

Your role would be to oversee the care services, providing line management, guidance and advice in all areas of standards, legislation, CQC requirements, safeguarding and KLOEs. Support the Registered Service Managers.

Your duties as the Head of Care, will include, but not be limited to:

• Act as The Nominated Individual for The Meath and the point of contact for the CQC.

• Be available in emergency situations to assist and support The Managers.
