An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Events and Partnerships Manager to join our Events and Partnerships Teams. This role will require the successful candidate to proactively lead our Events Team to review and overhaul our current events programme before implementing a varied and exciting refreshed programme which will engage new and current supporters as well as the local community and our children, young people and their families.
They will also lead our Partnerships Team to develop and maintain and grow long-term, high value and multifaceted community, group and corporate partnerships to maximise income, value and influence for The Children’s Trust.

Role Requirements
- Working alongside the Head of Public Fundraising, you will strengthen and implement business planning, pipeline and budgeting processes as well as devise comprehensive audience-led stewardship plans, maintaining momentum and focus to achieve targets.
- Lead the implementation and delivery of the strategy for the Events and Partnerships teams and work with the Head of Public Fundraising and the teams to develop and review strategies to maximise income from events and partnerships
- Manage partnership pipeline including building opportunities with new businesses to increase the range, value and number of partnerships for The Children’s Trust
- Lead the Events team to review and overhaul our current events programme so that we are maximising net income and ROI as well as meeting the needs of our supporters and local community, and building connections and long-term relationships with our events supporters
- Work across the Retail, Fundraising and Communications directorate to maximise opportunities for contact mapping, cross-sell and support the activity of other teams within the directorate (including but not limited to stock donations, sponsorship of committee-led events, pro bono support, gifts in kind etc.)
- Be responsible for the implementation of the budgets and delivery of income and expenditure against the plans
- Bring the Events and Partnerships teams together to ensure that we are seizing opportunities to integrate the programmes, for instance through corporate sponsorships of events, employee volunteering or participation, donated goods for raffles and auctions, match funding and more
- Develop relationships with colleagues across the Public Fundraising Team, wider directorate and organisation to ensure that opportunities for engagement, integration and promotion of events and partnerships are maximised and publicised

Montpelier Foundation is a UK-registered charity focused on tackling climate change and poverty. Our team works on behalf of the Montpelier and Hampshire Foundations’ family office, managing close to $20M in grants annually to non-profits worldwide.
Our priorities are to speed up the energy transition away from fossil fuels towards clean renewables and to protect the land and forests which absorb carbon from our atmosphere, while safeguarding the livelihoods of those most affected by climate change.
We do this by funding non-profit partners across the globe: in high- and middle-income countries, where there are the highest greenhouse gas emissions, and in low-income countries, where there is the least amount of climate change funding available and the highest levels of poverty. Purpose of role
Based in our offices in Knightsbridge, London, the Programme Manager will have experience in grant-making or in relevant non-profit or policy sectors, and an interest in social and environmental causes globally. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a significant contribution to tackling climate change and poverty, in a predominantly office-based role. You would be joining a tight-knit team working in a fun, innovative and flexible environment.
Primary responsibilities
- Managing an existing portfolio of livelihoods and climate grants, i.e. owning the relationship with the NGOs, following their progress, overseeing the financial and legal aspects of the grant, and reporting to the Chair. A lot of this can be achieved through desk-based work, calls and meetings, but sometimes we need to travel to see our partners’ work in person.
- Making recommendations on grant renewals, by carrying out detailed analysis of the NGOs and the impact of the grants and working towards their approval by the board of directors.
- Exploring new grant opportunities under the strategic direction of the Foundation’s Chair.
- Maintaining, strengthening and growing the Foundation’s international network of foundations, subject experts, social intermediaries and service providers.
- Carrying out administrative tasks that are shared across the Programme Team, which could include financial reporting and website management.
Experience
- Strong academic background with a degree in a relevant field (postgraduate degree preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years’ work experience in grant-making, or in relevant non-profit or policy sectors.
- Strong interest in international development and climate change, and a willingness to keep learning about new sectors, geographies and solutions.
- Fluency in English with excellent writing and communication/presentation skills.
- Assertiveness and confidence working with people and building trust-based relationships – in person, on the phone and on email with grantees, the team and board.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability and willingness to hit the ground running and take direction.
- Team player who likes being part of a small team and gladly pitches in on any task, big or small.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join an innovative and independent Clinical Trials Unit (UKCRC fully registered) and help to deliver high-quality research in a unique and challenging setting. You will be key to helping us to successfully set-up and deliver an exciting new adaptive platform trial in paediatric intensive care as well as and helping our unit adapt ahead of conducting a phase II drug trial in critically-ill adults. You will ensure best practice, identify risks and mitigation strategies enhance local Standard Operating Procedures, interpret regulatory and audit requirements and provide guidance, training and support for clinical researchers and trial teams. The post will also involve leading in audits along with preparation for MHRA inspections.
What you will need to succeed
The Applicant must have clinical research experience and experience of conducting managing, auditing or monitoring according to the principles of Good Clinical Practice. A sound knowledge of Good Clinical Practice guidelines, the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, the Data Protection Act and the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations 2004 and its amendments is essential.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, team working and organisational skills together with a high level of attention to detail. They must be able to work independently with a strong problem-solving ability. The ability to relate to and communicate clearly, sensitively and effectively with people from a variety of professional and personal backgrounds are also essential.

Main purpose of post
This is a senior role in the fundraising team which is responsible for identifying, developing, and converting opportunities to generate income to achieve Weston Park Cancer Charity’s strategy. The Digital & IG Manager will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns across a variety of paid marketing channels. This currently includes Meta, Google Search Ads and YouTube and telemarketing, and is likely to include more channels in the future. You will work closely with the interim Senior Acquisition Manager to ensure that the regular giving programme is performing against targets successfully, contributing to the wider fundraising strategy of recruiting new regular givers and increasing our unrestricted, sustainable income.
You will lead on setting up, running and monitoring campaigns as well as analysing and reporting on results on a daily basis. You will create and test new, regular giving propositions based on audience research and data-led results, working collaboratively with colleagues in the Individual Giving and Data teams to monitor and influence donor journeys to ensure strong rates of retention. You will use a combination of the Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, agency reports and War Child’s CRM to track and report on results against target.
Your responsibilities
· Lead on creative development and copywriting across a suite of creative executions. Take responsibility for developing creative concepts and generating ideas for broadcast campaigns.
· Lead on creation, planning and delivery of regular giving acquisition campaigns from start to finish. This includes using data-led insights to build innovative and effective propositions and conversion journeys, with a focus on excellent user experience and recruiting high quality, long-term donors.
· Be responsible for implementing and delivering a strategic testing plan which underpins all Acquisition Campaigns.
· Ownership and day to day management of telemarketing campaigns, including quality control, regular meetings with agencies, results analysis and reporting and data checks.
· Own the donate section of the website – take responsibility for all income generation donate pages, ensuring they are optimised and donate journeys are seamless.
· Monitor, analyse and report on results using internal and external platforms and dashboards. You will use these insights to inform future campaigns and ensure we are spending budget in the most efficient way. You will set targets using KPIs, and regularly report back on progress against target to the Fundraising departments, presenting how regular giving recruitment supports War Child’s strategic priority of increasing sustainable income.
· Develop strong working relationships with other teams and key stakeholders. Appoint, and manage relationships with external agencies, suppliers and partners (digital and direct marketing, telemarketing, technology, creative, web technical etc.) to ensure excellent service delivery and agency management.
· Maintain a strong knowledge of developments, innovations, and new technology in web development, digital performance, digital marketing and social media, and any sector insights and trends, and identify any that may be of benefit/interest to War Child.
· Draw on fundraising knowledge and Direct Marketing expertise to support the interim Senior Acquisition Manager and Heads of Acquisition & Individual Giving with the overall acquisition strategy, including making key recommendations on targets, opportunities for growth, scale back, and spend needed, whilst considering the external environment / trends across the sector, audience insight and campaign learnings – helping to influence strategic decisions on future investment.
· Work closely with the Senior Fundraising Compliance Advisor and other key team members to ensure that all marketing activity is in line with compliance regulations set by the IOF, DMA, ICO, Fundraising Regulator and GDPR legislation.
· Providing support and advice to other Fundraising departments from time to time on fundraising projects which require the use of paid digital channels to drive income. You will use your expertise to help guide the decisions and execution of paid digital media across the organisation.
· Contribute to creating a culture committed to the safeguarding of children and adults and compliant to War Child’s Safeguarding and Adults at Risk Policies.

You are
· An experienced fundraiser with demonstrable knowledge of digital and direct marketing and regular giving recruitment via paid marketing channels, with excellent campaign management skills.
· Someone with a proven track record of successful fundraising results, delivering against income targets to budget and on schedule.
· Analytically and numerically strong, and able to take an evidence-led approach to enhancing performance.
· Able to assess and optimise campaign performance by analysing data patterns and trends and use a range of KPIs to monitor and predict performance.
· Able to demonstrate your experience in developing and implementing successful acquisition campaigns and supporter journeys, alongside a good understanding of how to utilise content effectively.
· Good knowledge and experience of PPC, SEO, digital analytics platforms, data capture, monitoring and tracking and how to utilise this to improve digital performance.
· Someone with previous experience of using Meta Business Suite to create and monitor campaigns.
· An excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills internally and externally.
· Highly self-organised, process driven, proactive and have an excellent eye for detail.
· Someone with a successful track record of managing suppliers and agencies &experienced in managing multiple stakeholder relationships at any one time.
· An excellent copywriter, someone who is passionate and experienced at crafting compelling direct marketing copy for adverts and journeys.
· Competent at using databases and Microsoft Office especially Excel, for supporter management, results reporting analysis and insight.
· An excellent multitasker and can prioritise a demanding and varied workload efficiently.

· Passionate about digital marketing, with an enthusiasm for keeping up to date with innovations and trends.
· Having previously run non-digital direct marketing campaigns from start to finish for regular giving recruitment, as well as digital ones, would be an advantage.

City Harvest, the charity rescuing food to feed people and protect the planet, is seeking an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser to secure new income from trusts and foundations, and manage a range of existing donors.
Since 2014, City Harvest has been working to solve food poverty and food waste across London. Every week, the charity rescues over 100 tonnes of surplus food from the food industry. Staff and volunteers sort and package this food, and our vans deliver it, free of charge, six days per week to over 375 community partners across 30 London boroughs. The organisation provides over 1.1 million meals monthly, with 43% of their deliveries made up of fresh fruit and vegetables.
The role of Trusts and Foundations Manager will work with the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager to deliver City Harvest’s ambitious targets for trust and foundations income in 2024/25 and beyond. The post-holder will be responsible for proactively researching and exploring new avenues for funding and building a strong pipeline of new donors who have the potential to support the charity.
Key to the post, will be building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at trusts and foundations and preparing and delivering targeted funding applications to those organisations. Working with the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager, the post will also involve developing an compelling organisational case for support and a range of highly fundable initiatives for City Harvest.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working in this area for at least two different causes, alongside a proven track record of successful income generation and delivering against targets. You will have demonstratable experience in proposal writing and in building relationships with donors and senior stakeholders. You will also have a background in report writing demonstrating grant impact. Our exciting new Events and Office Coordinator role will support the delivery of The Royal Countryside Fund's (RCF) busy events programme. Our events drive awareness of the issues facing the countryside through supporting family farms and rural communities, ensuring we reach a diverse audience to raise awareness of the charity and encourage support of the RCF's work
Under the direction of the Interim Head of Communications, and with support of the wider staff team, you will be responsible for coordinating and running all the charity’s events, including full administrative support, booking venues, the invitation process and guest lists, organisation of collateral (including marketing and promotional information), catering arrangements and researching and inviting speakers. You will also be ensuring effective follow-up to each event such as wider dissemination of event content, evaluation, and reporting.
Working on events will account for approximately half of the role. Your remaining time will be spent working across the charity undertaking a variety of administrative tasks. This will include supporting the team with mailings, coordination of specific activities and some general office management. Whilst reporting to the Interim Head of Communications, you will work closely with several team members, particularly the Executive Assistant, providing a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of different aspects of the charity’s work.
This role is a development role and wide-ranging events and office experience is not expected. However, you should have a confident attitude supported by good written and verbal communication skills and be effective in the use of Microsoft packages. This might include local authorities, community organisations, community energy organisations, third sector organisations, developers, funders, investors and key supply chain actors.

Essential attributes for this role include:
