They will also facilitate national learning events and projects. Working with the Learning Manager and Member Services Team to deliver the learning programme and achieve u3a objectives.

What will I be doing?

• Working with the MFE Product Manager - Sports, account managing and developing various high-value relationships with 3rd party event partners across the portfolio 

• Inform the development of the Sports Team PR and social communications plan with particular focus on our key events

• Proposing stretching sponsorship income and recruitment targets 

• Responsible for creating and managing Sports Team web pages and social media pages and producing innovative and bespoke content that is user friendly across all devices and briefing in social priorities

• Working in collaborate with our Event Delivery Team to support the planning and delivery of "On the day experiences", working with our operation teams and 3rd party event organisers to coordinate this

• Managing annual cycle of each event within portfolio including managing the online registration platforms, updating event pages, opening/closing events and fulfilling on-the-day activities at events 

• Through sector networking & tracking, establishing a solid understanding of our competitors and regularly conducting analysis that can be used to benefit the Sports Team as a whole

• Develop internal relationships with multiple teams across Cancer Research UK to maximise our internal Sports Team brand

• Play a key part in our Cancer Research UK on the day team for a number of Sports events (on weekends) nationally - such as the VM London Marathon and the Great North Run.

What skills will I need?

What will I be doing?

• Undertaking internal and external landscape analysis to define and develop the audiences and product offerings that need activating as part of the health marketing plan

This includes provision of advice, guidance, challenge and reassurance on all aspects of the charity’s financial activities, ensuring that our strategic plans are underpinned by robust and fit for purpose financial management. You should have a strong interest in the mission of Animal Free Research UK and be willing to advocate on the charity’s behalf.

Previous experience of being a Trustee is not necessary as a full induction and ongoing support will be provided.

Board meetings and time commitment

The The Board ordinarily meets four times per year in March, May, August and November. Two of these meetings are held remotely via video call on a Saturday, and two are held in person in London across weekends. In addition, Trustees are encouraged to join a Committee relevant to their area of expertise which meets at least once per quarter via video call. An appropriate time commitment will be required over the course of the year for preparative work between meetings. Trustees are also invited to attend occasional charity events and join recruitment panels on an ad hoc basis.

Following a probationary period where Trustee-elects attend at least 2 board meetings, appointed Trustees serve a three-year term, with the option to renew for a further three years. Trusteeship is an unremunerated position, though reasonable out-of-pocket expenses will be paid.

The Senior Events and Programme Coordinator (Leadership) has key responsibility for supporting our Leadership Programmes working alongside the Events and Membership Manager and the Director of Nursing Programmes (Leadership and Standards) to ensure work is covered by the wider team and to act as a central point of contact for partners and clients.

The Programme, Network and Event Coordination Team is a key core team led by our Events and Membership Manager, responsible for ensuring that professional programmes, network and event support is provided to the QNI’s core programmes of work and the nurses in the team that lead them.

· Support the commissioning and managing of research activities and collaborations.

Growing Hope is a charity providing free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in partnership with local churches across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus.

The charity has a vision to champion accessibility UK wide and to set up twenty clinics in partnership with local churches by 2030, there’s a current pipeline in progress to achieve this. As the charity grows we want to ensure that we have strong financial strategy and growth plans which enable us to achieve our vision. As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with strategic planning and management. The role will be based in King’s Cross with occasional events outside of the office. We envisage the focus of the role to be split with a 40% focus on income generation, 20% on Clinic Growth and 20% on brand, marketing and PR, all aspects of the role will include leadership and management.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 
Duties and responsibilities will be discussed and developed as the charity continues to grow, but will include: 

Leadership and Management:

• Working as part of the Senior Leadership team to strategically support the running of the charity.
• Providing line management for the Fundraising Manager, Executive Assistant and other potential members of the team as the charity grows. 
• Leading and participating in prayer and worship with the team in line with Growing Hope’s Christian values.
• Ownership of income raising of £710,000 for the national charity with a view to growth each year. In addition to this an income of approximately £100,000 for each local clinic and ensuring that income targets are met across the national and local charities.

Fundraising Strategy & Finance: 

• Lead the development and execution of long-term financial plans in close alignment with the charity’s strategic goals from a Fundraising perspective.
• Reporting monthly to the Growing Hope senior team and trustee board on income, forecasts and plans to hit income targets. 
• Manging the fundraising, marketing and communications budget lines.
• Oversee the process of forecasting and planning income for analysis of the leadership team and Board of Trustees.
• Support fundraising strategy development and long term planning for growth.
• Explore and implement strategies for ensuring best use of charitable funds, and maintaining financial sustainability.
• Explore and implement innovative strategies to ensure that Growing Hope are raising funds as effectively as possible at both a national and a local level.

Marketing and Communication: 

• Overseeing and developing Marketing and Communication strategy across the charity, including PR development, socials and internal and external communications. 
• Oversight of projects and campaigns running across Growing Hope.
• Promoting the Growing Hope brand both internally and externally. 
• Developing strategies to support staff with understanding and working to the Growing Hope values.
• Oversight of marketing and advertising on behalf of the charity. 
• Analysing key marketing performance metrics and using tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to formulate actionable insights for the marketing team. 
• Formulating unique insights to understand the stakeholders from a marketing perspective. 
• Using marketing insights to contribute towards the overall business strategy.

Clinic Growth:

• Supporting the Senior Leadership Team with strategic oversight of the clinic growth process and the vision for twenty clinics by 2030.

General: 

• Sending letters and emails and making phone calls as required.
• Logging all actions on Salesforce database.

Key Purpose:

This role encompasses the day-to-day running of RABI’s mental health training programme. To include liaising with individuals and organisations seeking training; working with RABI’s specialist training providers; budgeting and invoicing, monitoring and evaluating the service.

In addition, the role will seek to explore possibilities for the development of the service, including working with external organisations across the sector to upskill and empower their staff.

The role involves cross departmental working, particularly with the Fundraising, Volunteering and Finance departments to ensure both the smooth running of the service, but also the development of it to ensure it reaches its full potential.

Implementing relevant procedures and processes, revising and facilitating continuous improvement will be key to the success of the role, with a focus on gaining impact reporting and integrating the service into the CRM. 

Building and maintaining successful working relationships both internally and externally and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery are essential to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop opportunities to engage with prospective strategic corporate partners around mental health training.
• Lead the management and delivery of RABI’s mental health training from initial contact through to booking, invoicing and feedback.
• Manage the budgets related to delivery of the mental health training service.
• Work with other RABI departments to ensure promotion of RABI’s mental health training and maximise the opportunities it provides.

We are seeking a Fundraising Officer to join the Foundation during an exciting period of growth. You will work as part of a small team to deliver our fundraising strategy – we aim to grow fundraised income to £1 million annually by 2027 to fund vital work across the Peak District. This is a key role within the Foundation and is a great opportunity for someone wanting to build experience across all areas of fundraising, as well as grant-making.

About the Role

This role is an opportunity to develop your fundraising skills and gain experience across a broad range of incomes streams while also providing essential administrative support across our small charity. You will support the Director and Fundraising Manager with fundraising from grant makers, individual donors and corporate partnerships. You will already have strong digital skills and will take the lead on developing our digital fundraising through expanding the effectiveness and reach of our social media. You will oversee the administration of our Peak Partners scheme for businesses and lead on signing up new bronze and silver level partners. You will also lead on community fundraising - supporting individuals and groups who want to fundraise for the Foundation. The role will also include helping to distribute much-needed grants to projects across the National Park.

This role would be ideally suited to someone with a digital communications background who wants to develop skills in fundraising, or an individual with some fundraising or sales experience who is looking to move into the environmental sector. You will be a confident communicator and willing to muck in and be a key part of our small friendly team.
