About the role

Working at a strategic level, you will have overall responsibility for identifying and securing the income streams to support the activity of this newly formed organisation (merger of 3 local Citizens Advice offices), working the Chief Executive and other members of the management team. You will actively monitor the advice landscape and stay informed about industry innovations and emerging trends, proactively identifying opportunities to integrate relevant advancements into the organisation.

You will also be responsible for the line management of the Fundraising Officer, Communications Officer and the Research and Campaigns Coordinator.

Role Responsibilities:

• With the CEO, design a sustainable funding model and a diverse project portfolio for CAOX that guards against over reliance on a single funder or work type.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities that generate income and are aligned with the organisational and strategic aims.
• Create a standardised fee structure for core services to ensure consistency and transparency when preparing bids and proposals
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure the work scope aligns with contract value.
• Manage multiple bids and innovation projects, prioritising effectively and demonstrating financial efficiency.
• Supported by the Fundraising Officer, lead on identifying and writing compelling and persuasive funding bids.
• Ensure a strong funding pipeline is maintained by tracking and planning fundraising activities, applications and forecasted income.

• A successful track record in business development and identifying new funding opportunities to achieve significant impact, meet user needs and maintain standards.

We are seeking someone to join our team as Librarian. Trinity College Bristol is a vibrant community of around 60 undergraduate and taught postgraduate students, many training for ordination in the Church of England. The College is made up of both residential and context-based learners, both full- and part-time, as well as a lively cohort of a further 60 postgraduate research students.

In this part-time role you would be responsible for organising and maintaining the library at Trinity College and for ensuring it is suitably equipped and resourced to support the academic work of the college. The role involves assisting library users in induction and access to the library collection. The library consists of about 55,000 volumes, plus an extensive digital collection.

Salary: £42,237 per annum, pro rata

Automatic enrolment into our pension scheme and the WCIA will match your contribution up to a maximum of 5% of your gross salary (minimum 4%).

Employment terms: this is a part-time, fixed term position for 12 months, starting as soon as possible. There will be a 3-month probationary period. All candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Role description: 

We are seeking a creative and proactive Digital Marketing and Content Officer to lead on developing and delivering engaging digital content across Southampton Hospitals Charity’s online channels with the goal of building an engaged supporter and donor community.

You will be responsible for growing our digital presence through compelling storytelling, high-quality social media content, and effective digital engagement strategies. Working closely with the Campaigns and Marketing Manager and Communications & Publications Officer, you will play a key role in gathering, creating, and sharing impactful stories from across the hospitals, ensuring our supporters, donors, and the wider community remain connected to our work. 

Main Responsibilities: 

Content creation & digital engagement 

• Work with the Campaigns & Marketing Manager to create and implement a digital marketing strategy with the aim of increasing our contactable audience and improving engagement across our digital channels. 

• Plan, create, and publish high-quality content across all digital channels, including social media, website, and email marketing. 

• Build relationships across the Charity and Hospitals, proactively gathering stories, case studies, and visual content.

Sundial Centre for Education on Harmful Practices (“Sundial” previously called Oxford Against Cutting) delivers high quality education and training on harmful practices, such as female genital mutilation (FGM), ‘honour’-based abuse (HBA) and harmful body alterations. We offer safeguarding training for teams of professionals such as teachers, police and social workers. We also deliver lessons in schools, as well as workshops for community groups. We ensure people from FGM- and HBA- affected communities and young people are at the forefront of our work and all our workshops are delivered with facilitators from affected communities. 

We are looking for a Communications Manager to support our marketing, press and social media work.

Job Description

The charity would like to increase our digital footprint by 50% and in order to do this we need a highly motivated communications lead to boost our profile. You will create and deliver a marketing, press and social media strategy, to increase both the reach of our work and awareness of harmful practices. You will build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including journalists, influencers and ambassadors to raise our visibility in both English and international languages in UK press, manage all our platforms and create digital content. You will work with the team and trustees to achieve desired outputs within agreed timeframes and budgets, to operational standards. Your work will be co-designed and informed by survivors and communities. You will operate under the principles of Do No Harm. 

This role will be home-based and in Oxfordshire and will report to the CEO.

Person Specification

You will ideally be from a community affected by a harmful practice such as FGM/C or ‘honour’-based abuse and forced marriage. This does not necessarily mean you personally have been affected, but you have a deep understanding of the issues from living in your community.

Your knowledge of the topic:

You will need a strong understanding of violence against women and girls (VAWG), policy and legislation, ideally having experience working in the VAWG sector. 

High level of organisation:

Most of the time you will be working from your home office so you will need be highly self-motivated and organised to meet deadlines for campaigns around international days (e.g. International Women’s Day) for example.  You will be required to attend occasional meetings in Oxfordshire or elsewhere in the UK, for example at conferences where Sundial is represented, and some team meetings.

• Assist with the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns 

• Monitor and evaluate fundraising activities, providing reports and recommendations

Bid-writing: 

• Keep the team up to date on upcoming funding opportunities

• Work with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure bids are budgeted correctly 

• Complete application processes for bids 

• Ensure compliance paperwork is completed and recorded. 

Donor Management:

• Assist with donor communication and stewardship, ensuring timely and personalised acknowledgments and processing 

• Maintain and update donor databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. 

• Assist with research and prospect identification. 

• Respond to donor enquiries in a professional and timely manner. 

About you 

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• A track-record of successful grant applications. 

• Experience in a fundraising or administrative role within the charity sector.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Join our passionate and driven Fundraising Team at Challengers and play a key role in securing vital funding to support our impactful projects for disabled children and young people.

We are looking for a proactive and skilled fundraiser to research and identify new funding opportunities from Trusts, Foundations, and grant-making bodies. You’ll craft and submit compelling funding proposals, while building and nurturing strong relationships with new and existing funders to maximise support for our mission.

Working closely with the Executive Director, senior team members and trustees, we are looking for an Executive Assistant and Company Secretary who has knowledge and experience of working with senior management and trustees in the arts and/or charitable sector to support the effective governance and leadership of the organisation.

You will be highly organised, diplomatic, and proactive with good attention to detail.

Contract and Hours
Permanent, full or part-time, 1.0 (36.25 hours / 5 days) or 0.8 ( 29 hours / 4 days) per week, 9.15-5.30pm per day, including lunch break. Minimum two days per week are to be worked at Crafts Council office, with requirement to attend all relevant Board and committee meetings and key staff events.

Crafts Council aims to support flexible working and part time arrangements where it is appropriate for the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Company Secretary for board and committee meetings - Organise meetings, planning up to a year in advance and working with trustees to ensure availability
• Prepare papers, ensure that they are issued in a timely manner, draft minutes, keep log of follow up actions
• Support the Executive Director with email and correspondence
• Drafting responses and acting as a first responder, provide personal assistant duties and leadership administration, such as arranging internal and external meetings, travel itineraries and diary management
• Meeting preparation: Prepare agendas, gather necessary materials, and follow up on action items from meetings
• Support the Executive Director in drafting briefing documents, reviewing policy documents and providing succinct summaries
• Project support: Assist with project management tasks, including research, data compilation, and presentation preparation
• Make use of time-saving tools (AI) and ensure that Executive Office is run efficiently and productively
• Support Craft Council Executive team with administration duties, including diary management, presentation design, meeting and travel co-ordination and follow up, processing invoices and expenses
• Support with event management where required, e.g. board and staff away days
• Support the recruitment and induction of new trustees, ensuring that induction packs are up to date and accurate
• Provide administrative support to the Chairs & trustees as required
• Reconcile financial expenditure, such as credit cards, raise purchase orders and code invoices as required
• Be an ambassador for the Crafts Council and represent it at appropriate events
• Be discrete, maintaining confidentiality and being comfortable dealing with a wide range of people

Note: Board related meetings include Trustee meetings (4 per year), Finance Audit & Risk meetings ( 4 - 6 per year), Nominations and Remuneration Committee meetings (x 1 per year) and other Committees and Panels (as required).

Macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, with around 300 people diagnosed every day. The Macular Society is the only charity determined to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease with world class research, and the best advice and support.

To support people affected by macular disease now, the Macular Society provides a range of support, information and services. Our research programme is focused on finding new treatments and a cure to Beat Macular Disease forever.

This role focuses on raising funds, recruiting new donors and engaging existing donors, with particular emphasis on challenge events. The postholder will work closely with the whole Community & Events Fundraising team in driving income, identifying opportunities and stewarding our supporters.

The postholder will also help to identify opportunities for income generation and donor recruitment including digital and social media. They will liaise with the Community & Events Fundraising Manager to help to forecast each year’s events income and participant numbers. They will also be aware of current fundraising trends and keep up to date with best practice and comply with relevant legislation.

We’re looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager (Maternity Cover) to join our team, to steward existing partnerships and grow new connections, especially with those in the legal sector.  As well as running our Guardians’ network, you’ll arrange key supporter events and develop bespoke partnerships.

It’s a busy role and you’ll be supported by an assistant and a close working fundraising team. You’ll also be able to build on the firm foundations we already have in place.

Corporate Partnerships are a key funding stream for Movember and an area of growth for the charity. The team has a renewed focus on building long term multifaceted and mutually beneficial partnerships, as well as driving new business to secure the future growth of our partnership revenue.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will have experience working in a fast-paced national Corporate Partnerships team, with at least 4 years’ experience in either high-value 6 and 7 figure Account Management or New Business. This role is responsible for growing the year-round corporate fundraising revenue in in the UK through existing or new partners.

This will achieved by:

• Implementing the strategy for Commercial and Fundraising partnerships under management
• Developing and managing a portfolio of partners worth over £500,000
• Developing and managing a robust pipeline of high value(6 figure) commercial and/or philanthropic prospects
•  Working collaboratively with other Movember income teams in the UK, Europe and in our other key markets, as well as with other Movember functions locally and globally (marketing and impact in particular)

For this role, you’ll need:

• 4+ years’ experience in an account management / development role either at a national charity or in the private sector working on account management of high-value partnerships
• Experience of managing commercial partnerships including account management and stewardship
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
• Experience of various aspects of corporate fundraising including licensing, CRM, Employee engagement, Sponsorship
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of stakeholders
• Highly developed organisation skills, the ability to prioritise and manage several programs concurrently and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative
• Self-starter/high level of internal motivation
• Ability to work in a fast paced and growth environment
• Adaptability, flexibility and strong commercial acumen
