About you and the role

This role is key to helping us grow and empower our school and chef partners through our Membership. You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager and Procurement Manager to improve the membership offering and build a strong community of schools, chefs, and suppliers.

Your work will be varied, from managing membership administration to building supplier relationships and helping with communication between schools and stakeholders. As the membership grows, you’ll work with the team to help improve the support, networks, and systems available to members. You’ll also help with ensuring suppliers meet safety standards, deliver great produce, and offer reliable service.

In addition, you’ll assist with organising our member events, from planning and logistics to coordinating attendees and making sure everything runs smoothly.

You will be a confident communicator who is happy gathering information from our team, suppliers and school chefs, with an ability to translate data for the continued improvement of the membership. The role will cover everything from basic administration tasks, to visiting schools, helping to create resources and supporting our procurement processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage membership administration, including onboarding new members, staying in touch regularly, coordinating internal support for membership needs, and tracking renewals.

• Support the creation of resources, guides, and training materials for members.

• Assist with the planning and delivery of events, training days, and conferences for members and stakeholders. 

• Help grow the membership by contributing to its development, identifying new partners that align with our mission, and supporting our efforts to expand.

• Support the Procurement Manager with preparing and delivering compliant procurement processes, from drafting documents to reviewing submissions.

• Work alongside the Procurement Manager to build strong relationships with partner chefs, identify new suppliers, and understand produce requirements.

• Manage supplier relationships, including visiting suppliers, checking accreditations, conducting research, and ensuring due diligence.

• Gather, analyse, and report data to support and help grow the membership.

• Provide general administrative support for the membership team, such as organising meetings, booking rooms, and taking minutes.

• Proofread and format documents as required.

• All other tasks as reasonably required - we’re a supportive, collaborative team who are all unafraid to jump in and support each other when needed.

Essential skills & experience:

• You have an interest and belief in our mission, to improve kids' health through improving food and food education in schools.

What we're looking for:

We are looking for someone who has a passion for what we do as an organisation, with a drive to support our frontline services to be at staffing capacity, with positive influence to our resident and participant group. About The Role

This role is within our Sheffield Dementia Short-term Intervention Service and Hospital Discharge Pilot. The service offers specialist support to people with dementia for up to 6 weeks to prevent crisis or provide crisis intervention support if needed.  Referrals for this service come from GPs across Sheffield and nursing staff working in the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.

No two days are the same in this role and our work can really transform the lives of people affected by dementia. You will be supporting people with a dementia diagnosis (or on the dementia pathway) and/or their carers and wider families. You will be supported by a small team of dementia advisers, along with the local services manager and our wonderful volunteers.

The service sits within our Sheffield & Rotherham local services team.

About you

- Be An empathetic listener, able to assess and evaluate client need in a non- judgemental manner.
- Able to work under pressure and manage own caseload.
- Self-motivated and can work independently from home using your own initiative, but equally you are a team player keen to support your colleagues, working in community venues when required.
- You have some knowledge or personal experience of dementia, and the challenges people affected by it may face.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Mental Capacity Act, Safeguarding Adults, Data Protection.

Job Description: Fundraising Manager

Salary: £45,864 p/a pro rata based on 40 hour working week.

Job Purpose:

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Fundraising Manager to lead their fundraising efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing income through grant applications, trust funds, individual donors, corporate partnerships, and other fundraising streams. Key Responsibilities:

Grant Applications and Trust Funds

• Research and identify suitable grant and trust funding opportunities.

Income Generation

• Develop and implement strategies to diversify income streams.

Relationship Management

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Membership of a professional body such as the Institute of Fundraising (desirable).

Experience:

• Proven experience in successful grant writing and securing funds from trusts and foundations.
• Demonstrable experience in generating income from various streams including individual donors, corporates, and community fundraising.
• Experience in developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
• Experience in budget management and financial reporting.

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and reports.

Our Gateway Drop-In Centre offers nutritious meals, laundry and medical facilities, showers, IT access, phone charging , a safe space to rest and a dedicated Women’s Sanctury.  

When members feel ready, our team of expert staff are on hand to support them into suitable accommodation where possible, secure income via paid work or benefits, and provide immigration signposting for those who need it. Once housed, our Move+ programme continues to work with them to ensure they settle into new accommodation with the knowledge, skills, community and hope required to thrive in their new life.  

We also run The Bridge, a free six-week evening mental health course open to anyone in the community experiencing mental distress. The programme provides a practical toolkit to support long-term mental wellbeing.  

JOB OVERVIEW AND OBJECTIVES 

This newly created role will play a vital role in advancing 999 Club’s ambitious plans to enhance its status, reputation, and support among both existing and wider audiences. At this pivotal moment in the charity’s history, the postholder will work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications and the Members’ Committee to co-develop and implement a bold new communications and marketing strategy. 

Building on last year’s extensive rebrand, this role will ensure that the voices of those with lived experience remain central to the organisation’s messaging and identity. A key focus will be strengthening internal and external communication, uniting our diverse membership—which includes staff, clients, volunteers, trustees, and supporters—while also reaching new audiences through social media, direct marketing, PR, and media outreach. 

A major priority will be the relaunch and expansion of the 999 Club’s Membership Scheme and Patrons Programme, designed to deepen awareness and support for 999 Club across Southeast London and beyond. Underpinning these efforts, the postholder will manage the Donorfy CRM database and ensure the ongoing maintenance and development of our WordPress website.

• Manage 999 Club’s social media across all major platforms, creating engaging content that amplifies member voices and resonates with wider audiences.

The award-winning NSPCC Communications directorate is known for its talent, expertise and creativity in inspiring and challenging people to act on child abuse. We are looking for a skilled professional to join our Marketing and Planning team, which has a key role in driving awareness and understanding of our support for children, parents and professionals. We work closely with teams across the NSPCC to raise awareness of our vital services, behaviour change campaigns and income generation which helps us continue to fight for every childhood.

The Strategic Marketing Manager will focus on marketing to adults, in particular parents. They will lead a team of 3 to deliver our flagship behaviour change campaigns, Talk PANTS and Look Say Sing Play, working with colleagues across the organisation and external partners to expand the reach of our campaigns. They will lead on raising awareness of the NSPCC Helpline, that anyone can contact if they are worried about child and support wider priority campaigns that may include Brand and Online Safety. In addition, they will work closely with Income Generation, Services and Strategy and Knowledge on key projects and campaigns to ensure we are working together to maximise income and impact. 

The post-holder will have significant experience in leading insights-driven marketing strategies and campaigns that make an impact, from development through to delivery, overseeing a small team. They’ll be a great communicator, able to build effective working relationships and influence a range of stakeholders. They will be calm and measured to crisis coupled with an ability to make quick decisions. This individual will be highly collaborative in nature with a collaborative spirit in the immediate team and wider communications team. Alongside a desire to continuously learn and develop with a strong ambition to ‘make a difference’.

Job purpose

• The Marketing Manager will work closely with teams across the NSPCC to devise and deliver communications campaigns and projects across a range of disciplines. Specifically: 
• To lead the development and delivery of marketing and communications activity to promote behaviour change campaigns, Talk PANTS and Look Say Sing Play, NSPCC Helpline and other priority campaigns.

Playskill is a Hertfordshire based charity supporting pre-school children with physical disabilities & delays and their families. Across two sites in Watford and Hemel Hempstead, our work helps to build family resilience in the pivotal early years of a child’s life. Our specialist early intervention work delivering multi-disciplinary therapeutic play sessions, parent training/modelling, family social respite events and family support provides holistic family centred work aiming to build foundational skills for life.
