About Imagine Action
Imagine Action is a project born out of a shared concern about an escalating culture war, increasing polarisation in society and the need to adapt to a much more distributed, evolving information ecosystem. Imagine Action helps communities across Wales redefine public narratives, inspire climate action, reduce social polarisation, and counter misinformation. It reframes climate action from a false narrative of sacrifice to one of collective opportunity, presenting locally relevant, values-driven stories rooted in fairness, unity, and community well-being. The concept was co-created over 2 year period by the Climate Cymru movement and the voices of communities around Wales. The work is based on cutting edge communications principles as well as the latest narrative and social change research. A pilot project designed a set of tools that makes cutting-edge narrative and communications principles easy to use. Imagine Action will upskill and train groups, organisations and networks around Wales to use these tools to tell their stories in a compelling, human and relatable way. The initiative connects grassroots voices with decision-makers, amplifying local stories and strategically placing stories to drive change and redefine public and political narratives. Specific responsibilities for this role include:
Strategic Leadership and Project Oversight
● Lead the delivery of the Imagine Action project, ensuring alignment with Climate Cymru’s vision, values, and strategic objectives.
● Develop and implement a strategic communications and media plan to amplify Climate Cymru’s mission and the Imagine Action project’s objectives.
● Provide oversight and guidance to the narrative change activities, ensuring they are innovative, impactful, and inclusive.
● Work collaboratively with the Head of Climate Cymru and other stakeholders to shape and refine the overarching communications strategy.
Media Relations and Press Work
● Cultivate strong relationships with journalists, press and media partners to secure impactful coverage for Climate Cymru and Imagine Action.
● Identify and place compelling stories in relevant media channels, ensuring the voices of Welsh communities are amplified.
● Brief and support spokespeople for media engagements, ensuring alignment with key messages and organizational values.

The Role: In this pivotal position, you'll design and execute a fundraising strategy for Pennyhooks Farm Trust to secure and meet ongoing revenue targets. This is an exciting opportunity to help Greenwich Food Bank (GFB) realise it’s vision of
ending the need for foodbanks in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
Through this new organisational role, you’ll proactively create and grow fundraising income,
reach and support from grant giving trusts and foundations as well as corporate
organisations across London and the UK.
Through your fundraising expertise, you will have a proven track record of growing income
and building relationships with trusts and foundations as well as corporate partners to
achieve and exceed annual income targets and KPI’s. You’ll have the capacity to create and
craft compelling funding proposals that successfully engage and attract donations.
Key Responsibilities:
Through excellent, comprehensive and considered research, you’ll identify and prioritise a

applications.

Working with colleagues across GFB, you’ll develop authentic, compelling, creative and

You will work collaboratively with other Trussell Trust food banks across London and the

excess of £700k per annum. You’ll establish a fundraising pipeline, including a range of KPI’s that can be tracked and that will enable you to make informed projections regarding future
income.

Her Centre, a women’s advice and advocacy service in Greenwich, provides advocacy for women who have experienced domestic and sexual violence, working in our accredited domestic abuse service.
After 17 years our current CEO is retiring, and we are seeking a woman with the right skills, experience and commitment to continue to support and develop our vital service. The new post will be full time 32 hours a week over 4 days. At least 3 days are needed in the office to build team rapport and oversee the service.
With a strong and experienced management team the new CEO will need to focus on fundraising. She will have the skills to bring in revenue from trusts, maintain good links with Greenwich council, and facilitate the trustee meetings and decision making.

Role Description
To be the driving force behind our engagement with corporates. You will get Hope After Harm “out there”. Identifying opportunities, networking, and bringing in funding all at the same time as making sure our corporate supporters feel engaged and excited. You will work closely with the CEO, to define and deliver our approach and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Researching corporates and creating target list
- Establishing contact through any access route (calls, social media, emails etc)
- Identifying corporate networking events and attending/organising attendance
- Developing corporate offer(s) to engage and excite our funders
- Developing corporate collateral to support our offer
- Keeping existing corporate supporters engaged and excited
- Keeping track of the corporate donor journey ensuring all steps are delivered including “thank you”s, website recognition etc
- Maintaining and updating the pipeline and performing other administrative tasks associated with corporate fundraising including input to reporting
- To work with our Patron to ensure that they are engaged in corporate fundraising as appropriate

The ideal candidate:
The successful candidate must be educated to degree level in a relevant subject to the Head of Communications role at the Institute, it is desirable if the post holder is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and/or Institute of Public Relations.
It is an essential requirement that the post holder has knowledge of the academic or research environment, along with knowledge in marketing approaches for a range of key stakeholders.
