Our Greenwich Counselling Service, including our culturally specific Asian service, has been offering free counselling to Greenwich borough residents for more than 40 years. It has grown organically from telephone counselling and crisis intervention to longer term and culturally specific counselling and relationship work. Counselling sessions are delivered by our dedicated and highly professional volunteer counsellors, as well as a small team of counselling coordinators. We consider accessibility, responsiveness, and a client-centred approach to be the key strengths of our service.
We are currently seeking an Asian Counselling Service Coordinator who will work directly with clients as well as managing and supervising the team of volunteer counsellors. You will work closely with the Clinical Leads and other members of the clinical team.

Are you an ambitious and dynamic fundraiser looking for your next role? We are looking for an experienced fundraiser to join our team, reporting to the Head of Marketing, to help increase and diversify income for The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre to support people coming to terms with a cancer diagnosis.
Focusing on building new relationships and developing high-level, multi-year partnerships, the role holder will be responsible for corporate fundraising, managing all income streams, regular donations, bucket collections, one off donations and funds generated from third party engagement. About the role
This is an awesome role focussed on improving our ways of working and processes when it comes to those who support us. We want all of our supporters to have a first class experience when they decide to donate their time and/or money to supporting children and young people with cancer and their families. However we know that as an organisation we have more to do to make this happen and the time is now.
Working in Income Generation, this role will take a recently conducted diagnostic carried out by a business improvement consultant and not only work through the next steps but make change happen, prioritising the areas with the biggest wins. This role really will have a lasting legacy in the organisation.
We're not just looking for someone to map change, this person will lead operational design and process re-engineering that transforms the Income Generation directorate and it's workforce into high achievers.
You’ll be based within the Project Management Office (PMO), a supportive team of professionals that lead transformational change across the organisation as well as corporate planning. You’ll also have close relationship with the Head of Planning and Strategy in Income Generation as well as the Associate Director Supporter Engagement.

What will I be doing?
No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the job description.
- Building on the diagnostics carried out already within Income Generation directorate to optimise organisational design and scope improvements.
- Using the diagnostics to identify pain areas, develop a sequenced plan to tackle these issues and then implement the plan to improve performance, processes and services i.e. “getting hands dirty”.
- Embedding a culture of improvement in the organisation and developing these capabilities within the workforce.
- All of these activities will involve facilitating workshops, engaging audiences with tailored communications, debating and negotiating ideas with leaders, managing governance, risks and dependencies, evaluating progress etc.
What do I need?
The key skills we’re looking for in this role are:
- Experience of delivering transformational change by using process improvement principles & methodologies such as TQM, Kaizen, Lean Six Sigma to design services and processes that deliver value, efficiency, higher quality, lower costs and better results
- Ability to do big picture thinking and drive the change that is needed, don’t sit back and react to the change that is happening.

As Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer, you will develop and deliver Fawcett’s engagement with Parliament, government, and other key stakeholders. You have at least two years of experience in a policy or public affairs role, with a deep understanding of the UK political landscape and a commitment to gender equality. Principal Responsibilities

Job Purpose:
The Housing Options Officer will provide direct support to vulnerable young people, assisting them in moving toward independent living. Duties and Responsibilities:
Housing Needs:
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and move-ins for potential residents in a timely manner, ensuring thorough inductions for new residents.

This role is challenging and rewarding, for both an experienced worker who wants the autonomy and flexibility to find creative solutions or as a development role for a worker that wants to learn outreach skills and is keen to work with clients at a point where their need is acute. You will be expected to work with clients in a variety of settings and being a rough sleeper team will require an ability to do some shifts starting at 6am and others finishing at 2am.

- Conduct outreach alongside a range of partners and proactively assess those found to rapidly access housing, health services and treatment
- Manage a caseload of clients suffering multiple disadvantage where there are significant barriers to rapidly accessing accommodation and services requiring relationship building and a thoughtful approach to making incremental change.
