About the position
Are you a highly-creative communicator with a sharp eye for visual impact and a way with words and design? Can you help us tell the story of our programmes, including School Plates, which makes school meals healthier and more sustainable, as well the upcoming Hospital Plates and our policy work? Our charity, the Jon Egging Trust, is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience of working with young people to manage our Youth Programmes in North Wales. Previous management experience would be beneficial, but not essential if you can demonstrate that you have the key skills required for the position. The role will be responsible for maintaining and creating new relationships with school staff, local partners (including the RAF and corporates) and volunteers to ensure programmes meet the needs of our young people. There will be a requirement for some session delivery in schools or at our partner sites. Working closely with the Area Director West, the post holder will be forward thinking and help to grow JET’s presence locally whilst identifying new opportunities.
The post holder will be based from home with a requirement to travel to schools, businesses and RAF bases within North Wales (predominantly A55 corridor - current schools are on Anglesey but potentially looking to expand to Rhyl and Llandudno / Bangor). Fuel expenses are paid and travel time is included as part of working hours. Core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school terms only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that meetings with partners and colleagues, plus administrative tasks, are completed as required. You will be expected to work at least four days a week.

We have a great opportunity for a Special Events Lead to play a vital role in an exciting charity’s Philanthropy team, reporting to the Co-Director of Philanthropy.
Position: Special Events Lead (Maternity Cover)

About the Role
The Special Events Lead role manages the organisation’s special events from start to finish, raising the visibility of the charity, building relationships with prospects and securing income for the Children’s Hospital and the Cancer Hospital.
They will be responsible for project management and professionally executing the organisation’s special events. Past events have included a fundraising gala for 500 guests at Trinity College, a private reception at a jewellery designer’s studio and a behind-the-scenes tour of robotic surgery at the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- You will take lead responsibility for the operational management and delivery of several Special Events, from dinners and receptions to larger flagship events.
- Create a portfolio of events that will engage a variety of supporters and prospects.
- Develop a yearly events plan for prospects and donors with consideration of cross-team requirements.
- You will manage relationships with volunteer organisers of major special events; not organising the events themselves but being the key point of contact and providing support e.g. income management, marketing support via the comms team, Gift Aid and best practice advice.
- Create detailed event plans with specific objectives and actionable plans, manage event budgets astutely and review whether each event met its objectives.
- Maintain good relationships with committee chairs and committee members where events are being organised by volunteers.
- Take the lead at events; briefing and supervising event staff and volunteers, ensuring that each staff member has a sense of authority and ownership for the successful outcomes of his/her respective areas, as well as the department and organisation.
- Acknowledge, thank and maintain up-to-date, accurate records on the organisation’s CRM database.
About You
As Special Events Lead, you will be educated to a degree level or equivalent of knowledge and experience with a minimum of 3 to 4 years of successful coordination experience. You will have excellent attention to detail and organisation skills as well as the ability to project plan, design and deliver briefings.
It is essential that you have excellent interpersonal skills and are highly skilled in building relationships with different stakeholders. You will also be a great networker and creative relationship builder.

Role Description
The role of Senior Alumni Engagement Coordinator is to develop and maintain effective and long-lasting relationships with SEO alumni, through volunteering initiatives that encourage engagement including- creating volunteering opportunities, communications, events and stewardship. SEO London Alumni Relations Programme
SEO has a long history with our first alumni cohort graduating from the class of 2001. Our role is the nurture relationships with our vast pool of alumni, through an exciting engagement programme which includes industry networking events, social gatherings, newsletters and communications, volunteering opportunities and access to our talent pool. We create avenues for our alumni to stay connected to SEO as well as the broader network and open doors for them in industry. Creating advocates who would recommend our programmes and support the next generation of under represented students to gain access to sectors which may not be immediately available to them.
Accountabilities
VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT
- Working with the Head of Alumni Relations create our volunteering programme, providing a tangible offer for Alumni to continue to give back as members of our community as well as develop personally.
- Co- create and maintain a Volunteering database which will sit within the CRM and allow us to track, monitor and thank our volunteers accordingly. Helping to provide a better service to our alumni who have chosen to give their time.
- Create innovative ways through robust communication channels to attract volunteers to our roles
- Develop an engagement plan for our alumni, how do we steward our volunteers, do they receive a volunteering newsletter? How do we help them understand the impact they are having?
- Maintain the CRM and update with all active roles and progress
- Provide volunteering insights on a monthly basis to track and monitor the success of our recruitment offer
COMMUNICATIONS
- Alongside the Head of Alumni Relations you will be responsible for managing the creation and delivery of the Monthly newsletter, as an active participant in editorial meetings, you will be responsible for creating content and publishing the monthly newsletter
- As Comms lead for Social media you will be responsible for posting frequently across Linked In and Instagram to build engagement with our audience on these platforms

Book Aid International create access to books where it’s needed most, enabling millions of children and adults around the world to have access to inspiring book collections and new reading spaces. The Trusts and Corporates Manager is a key member of the team, primarily focused on managing and growing Trust and Foundations relationships as well as managing the corporate stewardship programme and potential new corporate interest.
A key aspect of this role is the opportunity to collaborate with a range of long-term supporters like the Beit Trust and People's Postcode Lottery. Additionally, you'll engage new donors through fundraising initiatives, such as Generation Reader, which aims to reach 10 million young people by 2030. To be a successful Trusts and Corporates Manager, you will need:
- Demonstrable experience researching, identifying and securing funding from 5-7 figure Trusts and Foundations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – presenting complex information clearly, concisely and persuasively
- Interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Experience of working with corporate partners would be an advantage but not essential

Women’s Aid is the national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. We are a federation of over 170 organisations which provide just under 300 local lifesaving services to women and children across England. Purpose of the Interim Head of Training and Education role:
The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the Training and Education function within Women’s Aid through a period of significant change, whilst maintaining a focus on the delivery of high quality training products to a diverse set of audiences.
Key duties and responsibilities of the Interim Head of Training and Education:
- Have oversight and hold strategic responsibility for the delivery of training and accredited education and qualifications that are developed and delivered by Women’s Aid.
- Manage a team of skilled and qualified training officers, ensuring smooth and responsive delivery to a range of contracts and with a well evidenced and robust quality assurance and reviewing infrastructure.
- Work closely with the wider senior leadership team, to source and secure new business and funding to enable the organisation to sustain itself and further develop.
- Support the existing initiative of building back and team development that is planned across the next six months.
What we are looking for in our Interim Head of Training and Education:
- An experienced and agile senior manager with experience of supporting service through change in an interim context.
- Demonstrable experience of designing, developing and delivery of accredited training in an income generating environment
- In in depth strategic knowledge of the key challenges and risks inherent for the VAWG sector
- A results driven team player with sophisticated people skills who can foster a positive future facing culture.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Major Gifts fundraiser to join the successful Development team at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew as Senior Development Manager, Major Gifts on a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract. The role works as a key strategic partner to the Associate Director, Major Gifts & Individual Giving and leads the Major Gifts team of two Development Managers to ensure long-term growth of income from major donors and management of the overall Major Gifts pipeline. The post-holder will lead on the development and delivery of a major donor giving group around Kew’s Palm House restoration project and the continued development of a strategy for increasing income raised from donors in the US.
This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.
You will need a strong track record of developing and maintaining successful one-to-one relationships with individual high net worth donors and a demonstrable record of meeting challenging financial targets. You will have a strong understanding of effective major-gift fundraising techniques, the motivations for high net-worth individuals, excellent analytical skills and judgement combined with a highly professional and diplomatic approach. You will have line management experience, and be a strong communicator with the ability to prioritise tasks and work calmly under pressure to meet multiple deadlines.

The role will support shop cover in our Oxfam shop network across Surrey and Hampshire. This includes Oxfam Shops in the following geographical area: Winchester, Petersfield, Cranleigh, Godalming, Guildford, Farnham. Whilst travel expenses will be covered, candidates will need to be both willing and able to commit to extensive travel across this defined geographic region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain inclusive, respectful, and safe environments in the shops.
• Collaborate with Area Manager and shop managers to allocate shop cover effectively.
• Build trusting relationships in each shop to maintain engaged and motivated teams.
• Maximise Net Sales Contribution (NSC) and Gift Aid (GA) in all covered shops to agreed targets.
• Deliver continuous improvement support against specific KPIs.
• Develop and deliver a framework for feedback and handovers.
• Actively contribute to the local community and wider Retail network.
Qualifications:
• Previous retail or operational management experience
