The role
Breast Cancer Now have transformed our digital offering over the last couple of years to create a unified, supportive and inclusive experience for those who want to know more about breast cancer and access vital support services.
We’re looking for a digital product manager who will oversee all aspects of the product lifecycle - managing the backlog for new product developments and cycles of continuous improvement across our flagship products and services. You’ll work collaboratively across the charity and beyond to ensure priorities are centred on the needs of individuals affected by breast cancer and contribute to achieving the overarching strategic goals of our charity.
About you
You’ll have proven experience successfully managing digital products, ideally in a not-for-profit environment. You’ll be a clear, compelling communicator, capable of building strong stakeholder relationships and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
With a deep understanding of user-centred design principles, you’ll draw on user insight and organisational strategy to shape priorities and measures of success. You’ll have experience applying product development best practices to shape discovery and deliver against a strategic roadmap and backlog, ideally in partnership with specialist external providers.

Whizz Kidz is transforming. It is an exciting time to join us as Partnerships Development Manager as we embark on an ambitious strategy for the next three years. Over 75,000 young people aren’t getting the wheelchair or support that fully meets their needs. Without the ability to be independent young wheelchair users are restricted in their ability to socialise and participate in society.

As the UK’s leading charity for young wheelchair users (up to 25 years old), we empower young people by providing the wheelchairs, equipment, support and confidence-building experiences they need, and campaigning for a more inclusive society.

The Fundraising and communications team at Whizz Kidz raises around 95% of the income to fund the work of the charity and supports the generation of funds through on and offline publications, develops our social media and website presence and leads on PR activities.
The person
As the Whizz Kidz Partnership Development Manager you will be expected to get into the heart of the organisation, understand our ambitions and use your passion, knowledge and skills to help identify and deliver new mutually beneficial corporate partnerships. You will the experience and knowledge of how to identify and quantify the right opportunities for Whizz Kidz and know what it takes to win and manage different types of partnerships – employee engagement, strategic and brand and commercial. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be comfortable presenting and willing to develop and learn new skills. You will be keen to play a key role within the fundraising and marcomms team to help maintain a positive culture, use your strong relationship management skills internally and externally, help increase brand awareness and unlock vital income to create positive change for young wheelchair users and their families.
Key accountabilities
• A key role in the Partnerships team focused on generating long term sustainable income (unrestricted/restricted) from the corporate sector by developing income first multi-year employee engagement, strategic and commercial partnerships.
• Create and deliver engaging and targeted new business proposals, pitches and presentations as well as creating compelling and persuasive case for support with innovative, commercially-minded ideas to secure and establish successful new partnerships.
• Lead role in helping the Partnerships team achieve its financial targets through new and existing partnerships while working closely with Head of Partnerships to monitor income against budget and develop financial reports.
• Lead role in researching and quantifying opportunities alongside identifying and cultivating relationships with new prospects with a view to securing face to face meetings, delivering presentations and securing long-term support.

Purpose of the job/About the role
As Reward and Benefits Manager, you will be the subject matter expert on all aspects of employee reward, ensuring Dementia UK has effective, fair and transparent pay practices, and a benefits package that sets us apart.
Working closely with the People and Finance teams, you will lead the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant monthly processing. You will manage all employee benefits for the charity, liaising with suppliers, negotiating favourable terms, and proposing updates and improvements. About the Role:
As Area Manager you will oversee delivery of high-quality services.

Key responsibilities of the role are to ensure the successful delivery of a high quality, efficient and responsive services to victims, the identification of income growth and partnership opportunities and building relationships with relevant commissioning bodies and other stakeholders. A focus on team development, and the monitoring of performance and quality are key within the role.
Please note that travel across a large area is an essential part of this role and you may be asked to work unsociable hours on occasion. This is an exciting new role joining Hope at Home’s Senior Leadership Team with the scope to make a real difference in people’s lives and shape the direction of the charity. Part of the project set up will include working with a wide range of stakeholders: Local Authorities, Landlords or housing providers, Registered Providers, Funders and relevant regulatory bodies.

About James’ Place
James’ Place Charity was set up by Clare Milford Haven and Nick Wentworth-Stanley in 2008 after their twenty-one-year-old son, James, died by suicide ten days after a minor operation. James had no history of mental illness or depression and had sought urgent help for anxiety and suicidal thoughts, but didn’t find it.
James' Place was set up to make the experience of finding help as easy as possible. James’ Place offers men who are experiencing a suicidal crisis a brief, intensive, therapeutic intervention in a safe environment. Men who walk through the door at James’ Place will be in a space where they feel valued and respected.
The first James’ Place opened in June 2018 in Liverpool, the first of its kind in the UK, and has to date supported more than 2,300 men experiencing suicidal crisis through our innovative and safe therapeutic intervention. We provide a calm and peaceful environment both inside the centre and in our landscaped garden, accessible to men who visit us as well as their friends and families.
In 2022 we opened a new centre in London and in early in 2023 we launched an appeal to raise over £10m to fund three more centres across the country. Our third centre opened in Newcastle at the beginning of 2024, and we are currently raising funds to open a James’ Place in Brimingham.
