We ate currently recruiting for a Night Support Worker for their young people's 24-hour accommodation service in Macclesfield. This is a permanent role working 3 nights on 3 nights on, 3 nights off on a rolling rota, 38.5 hours per week.

The role

• Work with people offering supported opportunities for them to improve their quality of life, develop their skills and make decisions about their future.
• Act as individual 'Keyworker' to a group of young people that access support, taking lead responsibility within the organisation for the coordination and delivery of their support.

Strategic development and implementation

Role description

Title: Interim General Manager

Our General Manager is going on an extended leave, so we are looking for someone who can lead the team, continue our fundraising efforts and generally hold the fort for six months. 

Some of the key milestones of the period the new General Manager will be responsible for include: supporting the team in hosting a fundraising event, meeting key grant writing deadlines, supporting Finance Lead in producing the end of year accounts and all on-going financial reporting, renewing corporate sponsorship agreements with current partners.

We are interested in hearing from individuals who could cover all areas of the role including fundraising (3 days / week); as well as those who could take on the General Manager role but might not have fundraising experience (2 days / week) and fundraisers (specifically with experience in writing grants) who might prefer a part time assignment such as this (1 day / week).

The London LGBTQ+ Community Centre is an award-winning charity launched by a team of volunteers in 2017. In December 2021 we opened our first physical space in London’s bankside.

Our mission is to provide London with a sober, intersectional, intergenerational, community centre and café where all LGBTQ+ people feel welcome and supported, can build connections, and flourish. Our vision is for a more connected, belonging and thriving LGBTQ+ community in London.

Job Purpose
The Partnerships Coordinator post is an exciting role with Tutor Trust. You will assist the Strategic Partnerships Manager to maintain and build key school relationships and networks contributing to customer retention and business growth.
The Partnerships Coordinator will also work very closely with the Partnership Operations team and the Communications & Marketing team to contribute positively to the overall success and innovation of the organisation.
Main Functions

• Assist with setting up key school partnerships across West Yorkshire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester.
• Assist with completing partnership agreements.
• Conduct regional research to better understand region-wide school needs.
• Create reports or presentations for meetings with school partners.
• Track school partner data and communication in Salesforce.
• Attend engagement events and conferences in order to network and build relationships with school leaders and organisations supporting tutoring.
• To assist in the recruitment process for new tutors, including short listing and interviewing.
• To assist with facilitating communication between school partners/projects and internal teams, acting as a liaison to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment on projects and goals.
• Support all three regions to develop existing partnerships with schools, colleges, MATs, local authorities and archdioceses.
• Take part in general induction presentations and other events to promote the Tutor Trust both internally and externally.
• Help with preparation for Tutor Trust events aimed at a range of stakeholders.
• Responsible for sharing conference experiences on social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
• Work with the Communications & Marketing Team to design and deploy external facing comms materials and campaigns to maximise visibility and reach.
• Participate in project work across the organisation.
• Assist other staff to complete a variety of administrative tasks that enable the Trust to operate effectively and efficiently.
• Any other duties commensurate with the grade and nature of the post.

Person Specification

Good candidates for this role will be high achievers, with excellent IT and English skills, diplomatic and inter-personal skills, and plenty of initiative.
Skills

• Educated to degree level.(desirable)
• Business degree, qualification, training or experience (desirable).
• Must have achieved a minimum of Grade B at GCSE in Maths and English Excellent IT, CRM (preferable) and software system skills , including competency with Microsoft Excel and Salesforce.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to establish a rapport and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and from any industry sector.
• The ability to work under pressure to cope with multiple demands and deadlines, to work fast and to a consistently high standard.
• Be a team player but also able to work independently when required to do so.

Are you driven to campaign for better access to vital support and services? Are you passionate about advocating for those who need their voices heard? We are looking for a dedicated Senior Campaigns Officer to join our team and drive positive change for the MND Community.

Working closely with our National Campaigns Manager and Public Affairs Manager to plan, develop, and deliver impactful campaigns that improve access to essential support and services for people living with and affected Motor Neurone Disease (MND). You will collaborate with colleagues in the Services and Partnerships and Policy and Campaigns teams to identify challenges and failures in local services, turning these insights into powerful integrated local campaigns that bring about meaningful change.

Working with volunteers is a crucial aspect of this role. Engaging with both online and offline volunteers, you will provide them with the tools and support they need to amplify our campaigns. By creating compelling campaign assets, such as emails, toolkits, and reports, you will help to ensure our message reaches a wide audience.

You will represent the Association in collaborations with external stakeholders, including coalitions, to further our campaigning goals. Your efforts will contribute directly to the planning, execution, and evaluation of campaigns and events across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, ensuring we meet our objectives, deliver against targets, and make a tangible impact.

Additionally, you will support the Policy & Campaigns Assistant in managing correspondence and enquiries, ensuring people living with and affected by MND are not only heard but are actively involved in shaping and delivering our campaigns. By working closely with colleagues across the Association, you will help to increase our profile, reach, and engagement, ensuring that our campaigns are as effective and far-reaching as possible.

What are we looking for?

Experience in developing, planning, and delivering effective campaign strategies that drive real change. Your experience will include creating compelling campaign materials and engaging a range of campaigning actions.
