The Role
This role is all about people – connecting with church leaders and other individuals within church communities, sharing your passion for freedom of religion or belief through sermons, presentations and conversations to inspire others to take action. You’ll be a natural networker and someone entrepreneurial who takes initiative and comes up with your own ideas for how best to reach busy church leaders and congregations. You will be self-motivated and able to work collaboratively.
Key responsibilities (full responsibilities listed in the application pack):
- Proactively source speaking engagements in churches across the UK and fulfil these engagements, both by deploying a network of staff and volunteer speakers and by speaking yourself.
- Develop a plan to reach new and lapsed churches for CSW
- Use the CRM, as well as your own connections, to identify key church stakeholders to approach about partnering with CSW
- Build meaningful relationships with new and existing church partners, with the view to supporting churches in learning about justice and religious freedom issues and establishing or renewing support through prayer, campaigning and giving

Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time.

SCAA is seeking to appoint an experienced, qualified, professional Finance Manager with strong analytical skills, capable of producing and presenting financial information in a succinct and straightforward manner. The preferred candidate will have experience of producing management accounts and other management information relating to organisational performance, cashflow, investment reporting and budget analysis.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are essential. The appointed individual will be expected to liaise effectively with colleagues, Executive Team Members, Trustees and other colleagues within the Charity. They will also develop and strengthen relationships with banks, insurers, investment managers, auditors and other professionals. The person will be expected to produce and present a range of financial information, query and challenge any unusual and misleading information and to support his/her colleagues in the office as required to further the objectives of the charity.
This is a growing charity, and you will have a broad remit, and we are looking for a fully Qualified Accountant holding a CA, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent membership with experience ideally gained in charity accounting, external reporting and internal management accounting.

Purpose Statement
The postholder will be a key member of the central administration team of the Rank Foundation.
Key Accountabilities
Secretariat support to governance committees:
- Drafting agendas, production and dissemination of papers for Committees and Board meetings to trustees

- Organising RFL annual governance schedule of meetings

Research Manager
The General Medical Council are currently looking for a Research Manager to work in our Data, Research and Insight Hub, the Research Manager will be responsible for developing, managing and ensuring the delivery of key individual research projects as part of the GMC's research programme. Delivered by a small team of research managers, the research programme provides the GMC with crucial intelligence and insight to inform our policy development and decision-making. We do not fund or undertake medical research and you don't need previous medical experience.
Summary of the role
- Although the majority of the research programme is commissioned, a significant minority of projects are undertaken in-house and research managers will be expected to deliver both types of project.
- We are not looking for advanced expertise in particular methods, but rather for sound general knowledge and experience of a range of research methods.
- Research managers will work closely with policy colleagues across the GMC to understand their research needs.
- The role will also require close working with a range of other GMC staff, including colleagues involved in procurement, information governance, data management and communications as well as external research contractors.
- You will be required to attend our Manchester office one day per week, (our designated office day is currently Tuesdays) and travel to other GMC sites maybe required from time to time

The Impact and Evaluation team sits within Coram’s Institute for Children. We carry out qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research with children and young people, which often involves parents and carers and the professionals who support them.
As a team, are values are to be child-centred, rigorous, grounded in experience, collaborative and impactful. We are dedicated to delivering child-centred research to ensure their voice is at the forefront of our work. We use co-design and participatory research methods to challenge power imbalances within research and work with marginalised groups.
Our work includes a diverse range of evaluation designs from feasibility studies and process evaluations through to large-scale, multi-site experimental and quasi-experimental impact evaluations. We work with a range of partners including Foundations, the Youth Endowment Fund, Department for Education, local authorities, the NHS, and universities as well as other third sector organisations. We also work in-house to support the Coram group of children’s charities to help evaluate their effectiveness and assess the impact of their work.
This role will be based in Coram’s Impact and Evaluation team which sits at the heart of Coram’s Institute for Children dedicated to improving the life chances of children. This role will play an important part in building the Institute and the strategic direction of the team. The role offers exciting opportunities to work within the Coram’s Impact and Evaluation team to lead a portfolio of mixed methods research projects and evaluation studies. About the role
The Research Manager will play an important role in working with the Head of Impact and Evaluation and across Coram to develop and expand work of the team within Coram’s Institute for Children.

About the role
We are seeking a Learning and Development Manager to work with the Director of Partnerships and Federation Development to develop an ambitious learning and development strategy for Emmaus UK.
As a hands-on Learning & Development Manager, you will play a critical role in developing the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of employees, companions, volunteers and trustees across the Emmaus Federation and within Emmaus UK.
Your primary focus will be on developing and delivering effective learning interventions, programs and initiatives that align with the goals of Emmaus and support the growth and development of its people.
You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and development of employees, companions, volunteers and trustees, contributing to a positive learning culture, and supporting the overall success of the federation. Your role will involve supporting the development and delivery of strategic plans, programme design and implementation, stakeholder management, and continuous evaluation and improvement of learning initiatives.
This role is home-based, with some travel required across the UK.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a high-performing Learning and Development Manager, with experience working in a learning and development role, including experience of delivering training in-person and online to a range of stakeholders.
The successful applicant will be able to deliver effective and engaging learning and development programmes and will have experience of identifying and analysing learning and development needs, developing relevant approaches and evaluating effectiveness, developing a strong culture of continuous improvement across Emmaus UK and the wider federation.

Volunteering Projects Manager

Discovery is a student-run, charity based at Swansea University. Each year, more than 400 student volunteers deliver community-based projects to enrich the lives of the community around them.
The role of the Volunteering Projects Manager
The Volunteering Projects Manager is responsible for the support, development and effectiveness of our projects. Providing a high level of support, coaching and development to our student volunteer project coordinators.
Salary – £30,124.49 (Please not this is NOT pro rata. Discovery is a 4 day week organisation, the salary specified above is for a 28 hr working week.)
Working hours 28 per week (we are a 4 day week organisation)
Normal working hours will be agreed between 9 and 5.30, Tuesday to Friday with a half hour unpaid lunch break, some out of hours working will be expected for which time of in lieu will be granted. Exact working hours to be agreed with the Director.
Annual leave allowance – 26 days pro rata plus bank holidays. Usually taken outside of term time and must be agreed with the line manager.
