Job description

Looking for a role where you can make meaningful impact and make your mark on one of our most important areas of fundraising as a charity?

This opportunity will be particularly attractive to those looking to take ownership of an Individual Giving portfolio working closely with the Head of Department and Director of Creative Programmes.  By the end of the 12 month contract, we anticipate you will leave a distinct legacy.

It’s the perfect role for someone looking to strengthen their experience in this highly visible area of Fundraising.  You will have direct exposure to our highest-level donors and the chance to see incredible creative projects come to life because of your influence.

Working in a skilled team within the Creative Programmes Directorate. A typical day might see you collaborating with colleagues across teams including Festivals, Learning & Participation, New Musical Theatre, New Work & Artist Development, Youth, Community, Marketing, Communications and Information & Sales. This is a substantial opportunity and whether you are an experienced interim, considering your next move, returning to work or exploring a new sector, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll play a significant role in two digital public campaigns, a fundraising gala for 100 guests, oversee a popular membership scheme with scope for further growth, drive forward two supporter Circles, steward at cultivation events, identify and onboard hot prospects into an active pipeline and supporter journey with us.

It’s the chance to make an immediate and lasting impact at one of the UK’s busiest regional theatres that has a deep commitment to its charitable ambitions for the benefit of all communities in Birmingham and the West Midlands region.

Our terms mean that you will be able to work on a hybrid basis, with the option to compress your hours over 4 days.
