CTBI is currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative and Finance Officer to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting their small yet dynamic team, contributing to the efficient administration of their operations and providing essential financial management.
 
As the Administrative and Finance Officer, you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including coordinating diaries for senior team members, managing database and membership records, and providing committee support. This role also involves significant financial responsibilities, such as processing invoices, subscriptions, and other financial transactions, as well as maintaining accurate bookkeeping and financial records. You will work closely with the General Secretary, Company Secretary (Business Manager), and the Deputy General Secretary, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the administrative hub.
 
The ideal candidate will have a solid educational background with proven administrative and secretarial experience, strong IT skills, and a keen eye for detail. Experience in financial management, particularly with the Xero accounting package or equivalent, is essential. You should be able to work independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of your work. A willingness to travel occasionally and work from the London office at least two days a week is required.

We are now recruiting for a Lead Coach in Bethnal Green  - an outstanding opportunity to work as part of a local church to deliver the Spear Programme.

You’ll be working with the local church to manage the delivery of Resurgo's award-winning Spear Programme. Over the last 20 years, Spear has supported more than 10,000 young people across the UK with the work-ready skills and mindset they need to succeed in employment, no matter the challenges they face. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.

Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]

• Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme
• Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture, and attitudes in the training room
• Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively
• Handling safeguarding
• Taking a lead on rating the work readiness of the trainees and making sure data is inputted and used correctly on salesforce
• Tracking trainee progress on the dashboards
• Liaising with volunteers for key programme engagement events such as mock interviews and external panels. Leading on briefings and communications with these volunteers

Delivery of Spear Career [20%]

• Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees

Training the Graduate Coach [10%]

• Contributing towards the training and developing of the Graduate Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback

Trainee recruitment [10%]

• Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics

Continuous professional development

• Continually engaging in professional development, including being part of Resurgo’s wider coaching programmes and possibly supporting on leading internal training such as Grad Coach Training

Active participation in and support for church team and mission

• As the Spear programme is run in partnership with a local church partner, you will establish a strong personal connection with the church to develop the engagement and backing of church members and help build a strong network of supporters for the Spear programme. As part of this you may be asked to speak at church/events and contribute to prayer meetings as per Resurgo’s Christian ethos and the mission of the church

You'll beresponsible for overseeing your caseload of R@H placements and database management. The role of Placement Coordinator will be to work alongside the placement team in making safe placements quickly and efficiently.

As a Support Advisor working part time or full time, you will be a fundamental part of our team, supporting the delivery of the RISE programmes and the development of the service. The service will provide a range of trauma-informed and person-centred support, focused on supporting those impacted by abuse to access education, training, employment or volunteering.

You will be responsible for providing trauma informed support through group work and 1-1 support. Working alongside a team of practitioners across our geographical patch in Wiltshire, covering Bristol and the Gloucestershire area as required, the project aims to:

• Increase volunteers in FearFree and support people to access volunteering opportunities externally.
• Support individuals impacted by abuse to access training and employment.
• Help people access bespoke apprenticeships and internships.
• Support service users to increase and advance work related skills, such as the development of CVs, financial management and IT skills.
• Raise awareness of this agenda to a wider network.

The service will support victims of Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence and Stalking aged 15 and above, alongside perpetrators of Domestic Abuse – empowering victims and reducing the risk of recidivism for perpetrators.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in working with vulnerable people and an understanding / experience of the Education, Training and Employment (ETE) sector. About the Role:

As part of this new role as Legacy Officer, you will support the administration of UK and international legacy gifts, from notification to final distribution. You will help manage a growing caseload and ensure compliance with legal and organisational policies.

Additionally, you will assist in expanding our legacy giving programme in new international markets, working closely with global teams to support strategies that maximise legacy income across different regions. You will also play a role in forecasting legacy income, conducting estate reviews, and preparing detailed reports to inform strategic decisions. Collaboration will be essential, as you will work closely with the Legacy Marketing Manager, Legacy Administrator and global fundraising teams to align legacy administration with broader fundraising initiatives. About You:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally need experience in UK legacy administration, and preferably also within an international context. You should have a proven ability to manage and coordinate a complex caseload of legacy gifts, ensuring compliance and maximising income. Strong analytical and forecasting skills, with attention to detail in reporting, and excellent literacy and communication skills are essential. You’ll have the ability to work effectively within a global organisation, understanding cross-cultural dynamics and regional legal frameworks.

You’ll be able to build and maintain good relationships with executors, solicitors, and other key internal and external stakeholders.

It would also be advantageous if you also have a passion for global animal welfare issues, as well as experience with First Class and Salesforce CRM systems, although training can be provided for the successful candidate.

We are looking for someone to support the Board of Trustees in the smooth running of Roots. As Clerk to the Board you will work on 4 main areas: 

Board Administration

• Liaising with the Trustees on meeting dates and logistics

• Preparing meeting agendas and discussion papers alongside the Chair

• Drafting minutes and recording actions

• Following up actions with those responsible

• Managing the Trustee Google drive to ensure it is organised and focused

Communication

• Maintain the working relationships between the Board of Trustees, senior management and centre staff, ensuring effective channels of communication and feedback

• Ensuring all Roots staff, volunteers, carers and young people are kept up to date on the work of the Board and that effective two-way communication is maintained

Board compliance and advice

• Ensure the Board is compliant with all legal and statutory requirements such as paperwork and governance. 

• Keep a record of all Trustee training, and ensure new Trustees have the correct induction. 

Trustee Recruitment 

• Work on the recruitment of new Trustees including advertising on the relevant platforms

• Administration of the recruitment process including scheduling interviews, managing the recruitment drive folder and ensuring all relevant paperwork is complete.

• Support the Chair to provide appropriate training for new Trustees.

It is expected that the Clerk to the Board will also take on other responsibilities such as helping to maintain and manage the Google Drive, ensuring information is managed correctly.

About The Roots Foundation Wales

We are an award-winning charity supporting children and young people in care, those transitioning to independent living and care leavers. We also support foster and kinship carers. 

In 2017 we featured on a BBC1 DIY SOS & Children in Need special and as a result we have a beautiful centre with 3 semi-independent living flats attached.  Our Transition to Independent Living programme is bespoke and holistic in its approach and aims to teach young people on the cusp of leaving care (16-19 years old) independent living skills to aid a smooth and positive transition into adulthood.

We have a team of youth workers, night staff and volunteers who run groups, activities and clubs throughout term time and school holidays for young people aged 4-25. We hold coffee mornings for carers, a playgroup for young parents and activity groups ranging from crafts club to cookery, youth club and movie nights.

Working closely with our existing Head of Services, you will have joint responsibility for the operational management of Services across our organisation. Key tasks and responsibilities will include:

The Administrative Support Assistant will work with the Engagement Team for 1 day per week to ensure important ongoing administrative and business tasks and supporting the team to deliver face to face and digital events, engagement, communications and volunteer support.

The Administration Support Assistant will also work for Somerset Environmental Records Centre Team (SERC) for 2.5 days per week to support with the data flow process, managing data uploads and enquiries from customers.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Responsibility 1: Data Support

• Supporting SERC Manager and team with updating the SERC website, particularly regarding SWT event advertising.
• Monitoring of SERC email accounts and coming up with a system to coordinate the inboxes together and reduce our carbon emissions.
• Contributing to the SERC team’s production of protocols for the management of data, to ensure the integrity of data.

About the Role:
The Knowledge Management and Learning Senior Advisor drives the design and implementation of WaterAid's organisational programme learning and knowledge management strategy. The senior advisor leads the development of knowledge management tools, contribute to organisational processes for collating and disseminating program knowledge, and the evolution of knowledge exchange mechanisms. Additionally, lead the development of the internal programme and policy knowledge library, ensuring comprehensive access and collaborating on strategic knowledge communications. The Senior advisor reports into the Knowledge Management and Learning Senior Manager and their key accountabilities will be:

Co-lead Programme Learning and knowledge management (approximately 50% of time)

• Co-lead the design and implementation of an organisational programme learning and knowledge management strategy (in alignment with the organisational research agenda led by GPAC and supported by PMER processes).
• Lead the development and implementation of knowledge management and learning strategies and tools to capture, organise, and disseminate programme learning within the organisation and externally
• Co-lead the development of organisational mechanisms for knowledge exchange and evolution of our approaches.
• Support and advise PSK team members to effectively document, use and share programme learning and design dissemination strategy and plans to promote thematic learning to the target audience(s).
