This is an exciting and challenging position, which will be pivotal in growing the acquisition programme as part of our 5-year strategy. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual with excellent communication and analytical skills. Experience of DRTV is required, with an understanding of individual giving fundraising KPIs, including in relation to: DRTV, print, telemarketing, email and landing pages. You will be confident working with data with attention to detail and accuracy, from briefing data criteria for emails to using excel to review and share results. You will also be able to engage wider stakeholders in our acquisition testing plan development, providing clear regular communication to update on progress and learnings. Most importantly, you’ll be keen to deliver insight and audience-led, best in class fundraising campaigns to help Brooke realise an ambitious acquisition growth programme. `

We are looking for a passionate and empathetic individual who has the skills, knowledge and experience in coordinating casework and undertaking reporting of data to stakeholders. The IPO will undertake and be responsible for a range of administrative functions to advance and simply casework flow under the Sub-Regional Immigration Advice Service (SIAS) project. The IPO must have the ability to communicate effectively with referring agencies and stakeholders on a regular basis. The IPO will organise and present data to funders and others on behalf of NKLC. The IPO would have a good general understanding of Legal Aid casework, and the regulatory obligations set by the SRA and IAA.

The IPO will work closely with the Immigration Supervising Solicitor (ISS), Director and general admin team to progress and maintain the SIAS project. The IPO will manage referrals, liaise with the immigration team, and undertake a variety of administrative functions to maintain and resolve associated issues within the immigration department. Where appropriate, the IPO will arrange appointments, attend triage sessions off-site and liaise with referring agencies to ensure that caseworkers can advance casework as efficiently as possible.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The People and Culture (P&C) Business Partner drives the P&C operational effectiveness in Country Offices, facilitates organisational development and change and provides a framework for best people’s practice and quality standards. The P&C Business Partner also supports the organization in developing and implementing initiatives that encourage diversity, promote equity, and support psychological and physical safety of the workforce.

International travel including security high risk countries up to 6 times a year and extended screen time will be required. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Operational delivery (30%) 

• Provide advice and influence action on P&C global policies, and in collaboration with local P&C Specialists advice on local policies and employment law to staff and management based in Country Offices (COs). 
• Support the timely review of local policies and embed best practice, ensuring local needs and culture are reflected.
• Work with Chief People and Culture Office (CPCO), P&C Directors, the Talent Acquisition Specialist, the Safeguarding Specialist, Global Directors of Country Offices and Logistics Manager to identity and mitigate people related risks in COs and prevent and resolve issues. 

Quality Assurance (20%) 

• Drive efficiency and quality assurance  of P&C operational practices in COs by conducting assessments and P&C Audits, and work with P&C Specialists and Country Directors (CDs) to enhance the employee experience, ensure consistency, continuous improvement and enhance People’s capacity in country. 
• Support CDs to ensure compliance and manage P&C risks as per country risk register and audits’ actions. 
• Contribute to the data gathering, analysis and presentation of P&C reports, to enable decision making Identifies trends, propose actions for improvement and instigate implementation. 

Employee Relations and Employee Services (30%) 

• Monitor the whistleblowing line and ensure timely action is taken in all complaints received related to COs. 
• Oversee and work with P&C and COs management on the prevention and effective resolution of employee relations issues and adherence to disciplinary procedures. Responsible for maintaining confidential records. 
• Conduct investigations and liaise with legal firms and/or investigators to resolve ER cases. 
• Identify trends and areas of concerns based on data channels i.e. surveys and exit interviews and proposes actions.

Community Engagement and Fundraising Officer
Location: Runnymede & Woking (Hybrid working possible)
Salary: £28,000–£30,000 FTE

Home-Start is a voluntary organisation offering practical and emotional help and support to vulnerable families. We support families in their own homes and in groups through a team of trained volunteers and professional staff.

As a Bank Administrator you will be pivotal in providing a centralised administrative and customer service type support to a variety of departments and managers across the organisation. The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.

Deputy Head of Youth Work

The Deputy Head of Youth Work (Targeted & Partnerships) is a crucial role sitting within the Youth Zone Delivery Team. Reporting to the Head of Youth Work, you will be responsible for closely supporting the co-ordination, planning and delivery of an exceptional seven day per week youth offer within a state-of-the-art multi-million-pound centre.

About the Role

Through line management of your team and in collaboration with partners, you will ensure that the Youth Zone is accessed by all young people who need it the most. You will oversee community engagement outreach as part of the delivery ensuring the organisation continues to have a strong reputation and there remains a good awareness of the offer.

You will also be accountable for ensuring strong evidence of effective performance in line with vision, mission, values, and strategic objectives and that the team are afforded continuing professional development opportunities. You will need to be a big voice within a large team, owning and demonstrating a strong ethos, commitment, and dedication to improving the lives of children and young people and uniting them to fulfil their full potential. You will be confident in your abilities and able to deputise effectively for our Head of Youth Work as and when required. You will also be a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer.

Key responsibilities include:

• Line management of Female Engagement, Employability, Inclusion Coordinator and Outreach

• Monitoring, evaluation and reporting of all sessions including restricted-funding projects 

• Ensure the quality of the youth work offer across all direct report areas meet the standards of the organisation 

• Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships

• Manage one off projects, events and promotional activities 

• Identify suitable restricted-funding projects 

• Support, and in some cases manage, targeted projects as and when they come up, including budget management, and ensuring full monitoring and evaluation compliance

• Ensure that overall programme participation targets are consistently met

• Oversee budget lines of direct reports

• Work with the Head of Youth Work to prepare rotas 

• Working alongside the Head of Youth Work to ensure programmes are structured effectively and safely

• Lead sessions when required (usually this will be to cover annual leave or other staff absence)

• Produce the required reporting for Trustee and Board Sub-Committee meetings
