Main duties of the job

- Develop and implement a charity strategy for OHC and other relevant supporting strategies in collaboration with the Board
- With the Executive Director of Corporate Affairs, provide vision and leadership for the charity setting the overall vision and strategic direction, ensuring alignment with its mission and values
- Take ownership and lead on major gifts fundraising including solicitation and stewardship plans to establish a portfolio of major donors and prospects to include High Net Worth Individuals, Trusts & Foundations and corporates. A specific focus is on securing donations in excess of £5,000 from major donors by initiating, promoting legacy giving and developing long term relationships between supporters, prospective supporters and Oxford Health Trust/Charity
- Ensure appropriate governance is in place for reporting to the Charity Committee and the Charity Board on the charity’s activities.
- Lead, manage and support the Charity Team, empowering them to develop and deliver to the highest level.
- Developing and implementing volunteer roles across the organisation in line with the Volunteer Strategy and organisational strategy and ensuring that appropriate systems and processes are in place for the management of volunteers.

About the role
In 2023, Sightsavers partnered with the Federation of Organisations of Disabled People in Zimbabwe (FODPZ), the National Association of Societies for the Care of the Handicapped (NASCOH), Deaf Women Included (DWI) and the Ministry of Public Service, Labour, and Social Welfare, to launch an Economic Empowerment Project for Persons with Disabilities. This is a three-year project implemented in Harare and Bulawayo provinces, with a project end date of December 2025.
The purpose of this consultancy position is to support and coordinate Economic Empowerment (EE) project activities from 01 June up to 30 September 2025. The consultant will support the Economic Empowerment project to manage activities and relationships with key stakeholders. As the post holder you will ensure that the project is planned, implemented, coordinated, monitored, evaluated, and adapted to the highest possible quality standards.
Further duties and responsibilities include:
Project Delivery

Work with the country project management team and other funding / resources partner to coordinate implementation of activities and sharing of lessons learned.

Manage all aspects of the project cycle with the partners including effective planning, start-up, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, financial and asset management, reporting, documentation and closeout.

Skills and Experience
As the successful candidate you will have a tertiary qualification (bachelor’s or above) in social sciences, education, development studies, or public health or equivalent, relevant and transferable working experience. You will be familiar with national legislation and policies in the field of disability, human rights and employment, and have significant experience implementing projects, including experience of the disability sector and gender mainstreaming.
Further requirements include:

Experience with labour market issues including labour market assessments, skills training/development, internships, employer engagement, disability inclusion, job placements and job fairs.

Experience in project monitoring, evaluation and learning.

Experience of designing, managing and carrying out advocacy work for social inclusion/disability projects.

The Project Manager (Clinical Guidelines) is an important role at the College, as you will work closely with key clinical stakeholders and researchers to lead the management and delivery of the decreased consciousness guideline update within the RCPCH clinical guideline portfolio, which paediatricians and their colleagues regularly use to manage the treatment of children’s medical conditions.
As Project Manager (Clinical Guidelines) you will identify and coordinate members of expert working groups to undertake the development of clinical guidelines, carrying out systematic searches, critically appraising research papers and providing methodological advice to these working groups.
Based within the Research and Evidence team, you will also work with communications colleagues to create and implement communication plans and resources/assets related to the RCPCH clinical guidelines, as well as working with the Head of Grants and Partnerships to identify sources of funding to support future work within the Research and Evidence remit.
In addition, you will take responsibility for maintaining the Reye’s Syndrome microsite on behalf of the College.
Suitably qualified with a research methodology element or with equivalent work experience, you should have proven technical expertise in clinical guideline methodology and systematic reviews, have a rigorous knowledge of research methodology and quality assurance and have excellent critical appraisal skills.
With a background of working with clinicians or academics in the NHS or a similar regulated environment, you should have proven stakeholder management skills and be able to assimilate and report complex medical information on child health research quickly and clearly to different audiences.
Familiarity with carrying out statistical analysis using SPSS, STATA and/or Review manager and experience in the use of GRADE (Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluations) framework would be desirable. Experience of evaluation methodologies and a project management qualification would also be desirable.

DELIVERING SERVICE QUALITY
· Provide line management to a small team of dressmakers including training, monitoring standards, performance, the prioritisation of workloads, and conducting meetings with staff and volunteers as necessary

The Learning and Development Trainer/Specialist plays a critical role in designing and delivering a broad range of learning and development programmes and catalogue of courses which support and enable individuals. We deliver a wide range of training from Masterclasses, EDI, Values and Culture, Psychometric profiling and Leadership and Development programmes and this is where you will spend approximately 80% of your time. Most of this training is delivered face to face at our offices in Abington Cambridge.
Responsible for the delivery and evaluation of facilitated classroom-based and virtual learning training, this role will help to create an environment of continuous learning and provide opportunities for individual and team development. This role will work closely with the Learning and Development Co-ordinator and will liaise with training venues, manage bookings, and oversee internal data to evaluate training requirements.

· Working closely with the L&D coordinator and Head of L&D to collate and analyse data from L&D programmes, courses and initiatives, producing reports for key stakeholders, when requested.
· Measure and assess all L&D programmes and courses for their effectiveness and business relevance and continually seek ways to improve learning solutions.
· As and when required, provide support to the L&D Co-ordinator with the administration of training courses, including diary management and database management.

We are seeking 2 passionate and dynamic Project Trainers with a background in psychology or literature to deliver Verbal's unique shared reading model to schools across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland (border Counties) as part of our Peace of Mind project. Our Shared Reading Model combines bibliotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)techniques to support mental health and emotional wellbeing through storytelling, literature and conversation.
As a Peace of Mind Project Trainer your responsibilities will include:

- Previous experience in a consumer relations role (e.g. account management or complaints management).

You will be a key member of the Data & Insights team, responsible for ensuring our data is accurate, complies with all relevant legislation and helps the wider team to make informed data driven decisions.
You will be responsible for helping with the daily management and administration of the Dynamics CRM system and integrations with other systems, with a particular emphasis on supporting CPRE’s fundraising, supporter care, and campaigning activities. You will ensure data accuracy through regular data cleaning, improvements, and de-duplication processes.
In addition, you will provide timely and accurate data selections and create visual reports to support various organisational needs.
Using your mathematical knowledge and statistical tools you will analyse data, providing interpretation and understanding the numbers within the models. Through this you will support the fundraising team to extract value from our Data Sets by identifying correlations in customer behaviours and giving propensities, leveraging both internal and external data.
You will also work closely with the Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with excellent analytical and processing skills who wants to take their first step in an analytical career.

The Workforce and Careers Co-ordinator is a very important role at the College as you will work on a set of projects with the overall goal of ensuring the provision of the necessary paediatric medical workforce to deliver an excellent standard of service for children and young people in the UK.
As Workforce and Careers Co-ordinator, you will support the Workforce Manager on scoping tasks for relevant projects in line with the departmental operational plan, including creating project plans and defining activities and milestones, whilst ensuring good project management principles, including project deliverables, are adhered to through effective budget, time and risk control.
Taking the lead on allocated Workforce and Careers projects, you will strategise, research and collaborate with internal teams, Workforce Planning Board representatives and external bodies as required, whilst regularly liaising with the Policy teams for both England and the Devolved Nations to ensure all Workforce and Careers output is aligned with College messaging and advocacy.
You will also support the Workforce Manager and Data Analyst on data-based analysis and report writing where necessary, providing regular updates and presenting project progress and/or final output to senior colleagues and the Workforce Planning Board and other Committees and groups where appropriate.
With a good standard of education, you should have experience of working in a research or policy-oriented or a regulated environment, ideally in a health or education related area and have a proven ability to work collaboratively.
You should have an awareness of the principles of effective project management, risk mitigation, risk management and governance, and be able to oversee and/or manage committees.
Your excellent research and written skills and ability to develop ideas into workable projects will ensure you are capable of producing data-based or guidance-based reports. You should also have outstanding interpersonal skills and be able to present information, verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner, with excellent attention to detail.
With excellent communication, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills you will be capable of supporting committees and other governance structures, particularly supporting the delivery of new processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Experience of working with healthcare professionals or children’s services personnel, along with experience in qualitative data analysis and facilitating focus groups, would be desirable.

About the Role
You’ll be at the heart of defining and evaluating impact, working across the organisation and the wider Network, leading on producing insights to feed back into the Network, informing operational decision making and driving fundraising and marketing activity.
Your work will seek to maximise significant investment in systems and customised Salesforce CRM, using data to demonstrate the impact of the charity and the Network in improving outcomes for young people. Your role will be to establish, embed and maintain a data culture across the Network, helping lead the way as a data-driven organisation.
During the first 12 months, you will manage either a fixed term post or temporary consultancy resource providing data analysis. This will be specifically focused on supporting the Network’s young people’s engagement strategy, tracking impact of new engagement initiatives trialled and helping identify indicators for success.

About You

The Role
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer you will project manager this new programme that aims to raise awareness of fuel poverty and its impact on people who are critically ill or grieving and provide over 5000 people in the Southeast of England with information and support relating to fuel poverty, CO safety and the Priorities Services Register.
You will provide inspirational leadership to the project group and key staff, driving the delivery of this new partnership according to the contract with SGN, achieving the outcomes set out by SGN, and ensuring monthly reporting is accurate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project manage and drive delivery of the SGN Safe and Warm programme to ensure delivery is on track, highlight issues and work with colleagues to find solutions
- Willing and able to travel within the project’s footprint area to visit retail stores and service locations.
- Attend SGN partnership meetings to strengthen relationships
- Network with partner organisations involved in the programme
- Explore opportunities for cross-referral and collaboration to enhance the programme’s impact
- Facilitate and administrate (where needed) steering group and programme meetings
- Prepare monthly outcome reports in accordance with the funders format and qualitative and case study material
- Keep all relevant documentation and reports up to date and accessible to stakeholders including managing access and content

Our new strategy will mean changes to what we fund and how we work with communities and organisations in England. In November 2024 we published our new England funding Portfolio, ensuring the £3 billion we will distribute to England’s communities by 2030 supports the successful delivery of It Start’s With Community.
As we start to deliver on our new funding portfolio we established a new Portfolio Development Team to sit at the heart of the Fund’s England directorate. This team sets the direction for our funding, ensuring our whole funding portfolio is delivering on our four community-led missions; our commitment to take an equity based approach to tackling inequality; and our ambition to be more than a funder.
England Portfolio Development Team
The permanent England Portfolio Development Team is taking forward the new England portfolio, ensuring we are delivering impact through our current funding portfolio whilst also looking to the future and developing new funding initiatives and ways of working to meet our 2030 vision.
This small team of eight works across the whole England directorate, the wider Fund, and externally with people, communities and civil society organisations who share our vision.
The team is responsible for:
- Setting the direction for our funding, including setting out the change we want to support in England’s communities through our funding and gathering insights to assess whether we are succeeding or not
- Thinking, exploring and leading on portfolio development and implementation of the new funding portfolio – ensuring we are delivering impact across our current funding portfolio (national, regional, small grants) and developing new funding initiatives and ways of working where necessary
- Leadership and direction for England’s stakeholder engagement, partnerships, knowledge learning and impact and external communications
