About the Role

In this strategic post as the Community and Business Development Manager for Essex you will play a key role in overseeing our existing work and also contributing to the development of future work within the region. You will directly manage the delivery of our community based projects, specifically the Heart of Greenstead and VCS capacity building, liaising closely with all key partners involved in the work, and representing the organisation in a wide range of system settings. You will play a vital role to ensure that the organisation’s contractual obligations and goals are achieved by collaborating with communities and partner organisations in the design and delivery of interventions to promote active citizenship. You will co-produce with local communities in order to achieve sustainable outcomes by bringing people together to be better connected and networked.

You will need to work collaboratively and influence effectively across multiple agendas, to maintain an overview of engagement and impact whilst seeking to maximise opportunities for partnership development. We are looking for an individual that demonstrates clear leadership and the ability to influence and persuade across multiple disciplines and arenas.

Main Duties

1. Responsible for building strong relationships and developing working partnerships across a wide range of local stakeholders with the aim of developing new business opportunities in conjunction with the Regional Manager.

2. To plan, develop and deliver high quality programmes, projects and interventions and ensuring all are in line with the overall strategy and objectives of the organisation and that meet contractual obligations.

3. To work closely with the funding team and the regional manager to develop new funding bids in line with opportunities created through partnerships and business development.

4. Manage the operational delivery and development of a range of funded programmes with a focus on collaborating with communities and partner organisations in the design and delivery to promote active citizenship. Ensure within this that agreed outcomes are met in full.

5. Manage and monitor the budget with finance representatives from TAWS and support the relationship management with existing funders and the identification of potential new funders.

6. Devise, understand and use asset-based community development approaches to community development and work with communities to understand priorities and co-design initiatives. Ensure that delivery mitigates or removes the barriers to participation.

7. Keep abreast of new and emergent thinking across wellbeing, community development and tackling inequalities as well as innovation and leadership in this field of work. Work collaboratively with partners from across the area to develop new innovation and interventions in line with the emergent opportunities.

8. Play a key role in monitoring and evaluation plans, through collecting, analysing and sharing data (quantitative and qualitative) working with the TAWS Data & Insight team.

Knowledge, Skills and Experiences

1. Good communication skills and engagement with communities with proven previous community engagement and delivery experience

2. Awareness of funding opportunities with experience of project and bid development as well as Experience in sub-contractor management

3. Experience in facilitation and training, providing advice and guidance and consultancy experience

4. Understanding of marketing, events coordination with strong planning and organisation skills

5. Project management experience, including design and development, planning, resource allocation, time, budget, risk management and evaluation of impact and outcomes.

6. Experience of line-managing and developing teams to deliver against programme objectives and to achieve their full potential, preferably in the field of community development

7. Understanding of interpreting and analysing data bringing insight to community planning, delivery, and development

The Energy Neighbours Information and Data Manager is responsible for setting up and managing the systems that enable all staff and organisations involved in the project to gather and use information and data. Information and Data Manager works with the Project Manager to make good use of staff and partners time through excellent information systems.

The Energy Neighbours Information and Data Manager ensures the whole team has the information and data systems they need to engage and support residents and community organisations – and be accountable to partners and funders. The Information and Data Manager ensures information and data is secure, up to date and used to improve and develop the project.

The aim is that the project starts in February 2025.

The Energy Neighbours Information and Data Manager will work closely with and report to the Energy Neighbours Project Manager.

The Role:

This role sits within the Welcome Hackney team. Welcome Hackney supports residents who are currently seeking asylum, have refugee status, or arrived in the borough via the Homes for Ukraine or resettlement schemes. The team also supports migrant residents with no/insecure status who face additional barriers to accessing services.

The purpose of the role will be to set up and manage services which ensure that refugees, migrants and asylum-seeking residents can access the support they need, as well as influencing systems to ensure services are available and accessible. The role will identify any gaps in service provision, working with residents and the voluntary and community sector towards creating a welcoming environment for refugees, migrants and asylum seekers.

About the Opportunity

RI has recently entered into a partnership with Takeda Pharmaceuticals, to implement a four-year project medical supply chain project. This project will focus on building the capacity of 20 local pharmaceutical and medical device suppliers in four countries where Relief International (RI) has existing programming: Afghanistan, Yemen, Myanmar, and Syria.

Providing technical leadership, the project Pharmacy Manager working in close collaboration with the Project Director and project Supply Chain Manager, will support activities of the project deliverables.

Your Responsibilities

This role includes the following responsibilities.

• Lead on national health stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for the project and its sustainability post project (medical regulatory authority, ministry of health, pharmacy associations, public sector medical procurement departments).
• Work with national peer health stakeholders to ensure their understanding, and engagement / support for the project (iNGOs, Health Clusters, aid management partners, UN stakeholders.
• Reach out to other iNGOs active in the project countries to harmonize product portfolios, and develop support for quality standards
• Champion the RI database for medical products including the RI Medical Supply List (MSL), manufacturers, distributors to include relevant quality data about products and suppliers
• Help the Supply Chain and Procurement Coordinator on sourcing and verifying medical assurance quality certificates with local suppliers to enable RI to conduct and improve local medical supply procurement
• Support sub-contractor activities as agreed in the sub-contractor agreement, and Collaborating with the Pharmacy advisor, lead in conducting regular reviews and assessments of sub-contractor work and progress and providing inputs into required reports

About You

You will bring the following experience and skills.

• A master's or bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a related field, OR equivalent working experience.
• Proven experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders in challenging environments, and working with large medical supply components in complex contexts
• Track record in project progress monitoring, tracking and reporting, qualitative and quantitative
• Knowledge of donor and other international medical quality assurance standards, and skills with host country institutions, and international organizations. 
• Comprehensive understanding of medical product quality assurance certification
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating programs with a technical scope similar to the activity, especially focusing on medical procurement & supply chain. 
• Being able to successfully operate in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and technical areas.

THET and CPA work in partnership with 24 Health Partnerships (HPs) across 8 countries to deliver a comprehensive 4.5-million-pound programme to address global antimicrobial resistance. MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

The aim is for the Evaluation to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, impact, sustainability, and relevance of the CwPAMS2(Commonwealth Partnerships for Antimicrobial Stewardship Programm) programme's activities and outcomes.
The purpose of this consultancy is to conduct an independent external evaluation of the CwPAMS2
programme to:

• Assess the broader impact of the programme across the 8 countries of implementation and the UK.
• Assess the extent to which the programme objectives and expected outcomes in the logframe have been achieved.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the programme’s design and implementation, including grant management.
• Collect case studies for each country

Background: Muslim Charities Forum (MCF) is the UK network for British Muslim charities working for social good in the UK and internationally. Through our network of almost 300 charitable organisations, we aim to collectively build a more accountable, transparent and efficient British Muslim charitable sector, in order to improve our ability—both as individual organisations and as a sector—to contribute to a more just and sustainable world. Job Purpose: MCF has a small team, but our impact is far-reaching. The Sector and Business Development Lead has an important role in supporting members and the wider British Muslim charity sector, reporting and working directly with the CEO. The postholder will be responsible for managing change management, organisational development and capacity building support to the voluntary, community and third sector in 4 core areas including governance, organisational development, volunteering and fundraising. About the role

The Senior Project Officer will be supporting the delivery and documentation of Sightsavers’ ELFA project. You will collaborate with District Local Governments (DLGs) across all Lymphatic Filariasis (LF) endemic regions of Mozambique. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that LF elimination project activities are meticulously planned, implemented, monitored, evaluated, and documented in accordance with the highest standards outlined in Sightsavers’ Programme & Implementation Manual (PIM).
